This is an exceptional company. They are always professional and helpful. Recently they very quickly increased the care after my relative broke her arm. They pulled out all the stops to help keep her supported at home. We were struggling and they definitely came to our rescue. My relative feels like the carers are her friends and they always have time for her. Nothing is too much trouble. Can’t praise them highly enough. Definitely five stars and more. A big thank you!
Wow! Thank you, we couldn't ask for better praise. I will pass on your comments to the team. Thank you so much. Comments like this mean the world to us!
Helped me and my family during a difficult time. Prompt response when required, from very efficient and caring staff. Big thank you to four members of staff in particular. Could not have done it without you.
Thank you for your very kind review, I will pass this on to the team. I hope the family are well.
Home Instead has not disappointed. The care professionals quickly endeared themselves to my aunt, consistently showing the utmost kindness and caring. After just a few weeks her health improved dramatically with good nutrition and hydration. Such is the improvement in her life that she now frequently thanks me for convincing her to bring in the “A-Team”!
For my part, in my experience, first-class support and high standards for the elderly and vulnerable start with the top management of any company which offers this service and the standards and goals of the management in this Company are outstanding. The office staff are friendly, professional and quick to respond. It has been a total joy to see the sparkle return to her eyes!
Thank you so much for your lovely review. Your aunt is such a delight and the team will be very pleased to hear that their care is appreciated so much. I will pass on this review to all of them. Thank you again for taking the time to write this. It really helps other families to make the choice between companies when they are searching for good care for a loved one.
Every day I am grateful to have come across Home Instead. From the minute I contacted them the entire team has been an absolute joy to work with. Professional, caring, understanding and compassionate - there's nothing I can fault with this wonderful team. My nan absolutely adores her carer. They have such a wonderful bond and for that I am eternally grateful. Her carer is not only a wonderful companion but also goes above and beyond to help my nan in so many ways. Exceptional service all around - thank you so much ladies! We appreciate you so much.
Thank you so much Vikki. The team will really appreciate this. I will pass it on - we do have a lovely team.
Cannot thank you all enough amazing.
Thank you, Lorraine. Reviews like this mean the world to our team.
I went to see Mom at the start of this week and met two of the carers on different days. I am very happy (as is my mom) with them both - very lovely ladies and good company for Mom. Very impressed with them both as they are good storytellers and show caring empathy.
Thank you Matthew for your thoughtful review. Your comments are helpful for the team
I fell and broke a bone in my pelvis and needed help to have a shower and wash my hair. The carers came three times a week, they were very helpful and caring. I do not know what I would have done without them for six months. Wonderful service. Everyone was excellent, thank you all.
Thank you so much for your kind words. So glad that we were able to help you with your recovery. It is fantastic for the team to hear the difference that they make to people's quality of life
From my initial inquiry, the assessment was arranged very quickly and care started the same week. I felt listened to and all my requests were met within daily schedule which carers ticked when tasks completed.
My mom was introduced to all the carers who were to care for her. The amount of carers were limited which provided continuity in care for my mom.
Carers always attended and left at agreed times.
Fees are more than some agencies but money well spent.
Notes of the visit were available to view on app straight after the visit which I found very reassuring knowing my mom had been cared for and what had occurred.
Would definitely recommend .
Thank you so much for your kind words. I will pass on your comments to the team. It is fantastic for them to hear the difference that they make to people's quality of life.
My mom was able to continue to live at home from June 2018 until September 2021 thanks to the wonderful team at Home Instead. Mom has dementia and I was struggling to help her as I lived over 100 miles away. We initially started with one call per day but as Mom's dementia progressed the team were able to put extra calls in place. The team also implemented new strategies to support Mom. I had complete piece of mind that Mom was fully taken care of. Mom moved into a care home in September I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead Cannock to anyone needing home support.
Although mum only used the service for a short time, I have nothing but praise for Home instead, from the moment I phoned to talk about it and until it ended everyone could not have been more helpful. The service was speedy and efficient and the care given was excellent. I saw a difference in mum straight away, just seeing someone different and chatting helped her a lot. The ladies were lovely and extremely caring. Thank you to you all, I would and will highly recommend you to others. Thank you.
Our mother passed in early August so they were company for my dad on their visits but sadly our father passed also 3 weeks later.
They have been nothing but supportive to our family at this sad time.
Both my parents were very fond of all the carers and we wish them all the best.
Kind, compassionate, friendly and efficient carers have made life so much easier.
My mother was previously very reluctant to get carers in but recent ill-health while awaiting a hip operation meant that urgent care was required, and we could not be more impressed with the speed of response and quality of care provided by Home Instead, Cannock. The service was set up in days, while still ensuring proper assessments were conducted and needs and preferences were recorded and understood, leaving us feeling from the outset that this was a professional organisation. The care package delivered was exactly as agreed and more; the carers were, without exception, professional and kind and we were impressed with all of the additional (to them routine) checks they made, which we had not anticipated - e.g smoke detector checks. The reassurance that having this service provided to us was very welcome, my mother felt a lot better in herself and more prepared for her operation, and without doubt, we will call on Home Instead if required again.
Having Home Instead come in once a day, since Sept 2020, has allowed my mother to continue to live independently in her own home. She has early-stage mixed dementia and requires meal preparation, keeping an eye on medication and welfare, housework, companionship and outings. The caregivers are professional, friendly and courteous. Although my mother was initially very reticent about the need for them, she now appreciates and enjoys their visits. For myself and my brothers having easy access to the office staff and app allows us to monitor and direct my mother's care plan without encroaching, from my mother's perspective, on her independence and decision making. All the staff - management, office, caregivers - are welcoming, proactive and very responsive. Nothing is too much trouble. I am also confident that Home Instead will be able to continue to support my mother as and when her needs grow. I have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to other families needing assistance.
My mum was living by herself until the age of 85, and thanks to the care provided from Home Instead, she managed to continue living in her own home for a further 12mths. Carers came twice a day to provide mum care, a warm meal, medication and company. This has been so vital especially during the difficult lockdown situation.
There has not been a single day that they haven't been there providing increasing amounts of support to both mum and myself and I will always be extremely grateful for their dedication, professionalism, friendliness and genuine care. They became an extension of the family and nothing was too much trouble.
Sadly, mum did need more full time care eventually, so was moved into Residential Care, but that last 12mths in her own home would, without a doubt, not have been possible without Home Instead. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Home Instead have been essential in supporting my mum over the past year. I live in London and she in the Midlands and so I was so reliant on Home Instead as my mum required more care. Eventually, I had to move her into a care home. During this time Home Instead flexible as to mum's changing care needs and I can't thank them enough. They were like friends to both myself and mum.
Home Instead have supported myself, my sister and of course my Mum during a very difficult time. From my first phone call, Home Instead were able to guide and reassure us, pointing us in the right direction as to what we could do to help our Mum, from questions to ask of her GP to what her options were with care at home. Since Home Instead have been looking after Mum we know she is safe and cared for when we can’t be there. Home Instead design their service around the client, following detailed discussions as to what is preferred and needed, enabling my mum to continue living in her own home. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
The last point is we can now take holidays without the constant worry of parental care.
Thank you for your kind comments it is much appreciated
I have the utmost respect for the team of ladies who have been supporting my Mum in her home. When l contacted Home Instead (Cannock) branch l was desperate for help with a lady who was in pain with severe leg ulcers, not sleeping, confused and with poor mobility made worse by failing eyesight. The Director listened closely to the difficulties my Mum was having and l employed the team to do 6 visits a week, to begin with. The carers are attentive, willing to do all they can in the time they have with Mum and have a positive attitude. Nothing is too much trouble. The senior staff liaised with the District Nurses - Mum is in much less pain now and her legs are almost healed and she can rest. She recently had an eye operation and the ladies came on a more regular basis to put eye drops in and this was managed very well with a small team who made several visits, putting Mum at less risk from outside infections. The company these ladies supply also lifts Mum’s spirit every single day. Recommended.
Thank you for your kind comments it has been a pleasure helping your Mum to return to good health.
Home Instead had been looking after my father-in-law for 2 years and 7 months, until his admission into hospital recently. It was a struggle at first to get my father-in-law to have any help, as he is fiercely independent, but it was the best decision we could have made. The care workers were all excellent with him and helped with daily tasks, companionship and administering his medication. The business is run in an extremely professional manner and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for care for their elderly relative.
