The management is excellent and very approachable, caring in a friendly understanding way to the service user, family and also their staff. This is a key factor to Blue Ribbob's success. The 3 live-in carers we have had are all high calibre, very experienced, trustworthy, reliable, cheerful and friendly to the service user, his family and friends. Management ensures staff have regular Covid tests and Covid inoculations and provide PPE for them. The staff are given time off and another high standard carer comes with informed handovers.
Thank you
A first-class organisation. Extremely well run with excellent carers and sensitive to elderly clients. Very helpful in all aspects of daily life and their dignified approach is to be commended. Always a pleasure to see my carers.
My wife was happy to see them each day.
I can't thank them enough.
Having suffered the services of Council provided care - I turned in desperation to Blue Ribbon for the care of my mother firstly on a part-time basis and then full-time. Their management are so willing to help, go the extra mile, and be flexible and arrange things very quickly when needed. What can I say about the carers - absolutely outstanding - the care, attention and company they provided to my mother in the last months of her life was exemplary and far beyond my expectations. When my mother slept they cleaned, did the washing and tidied for my mum. The detailed notes they kept on every event was left in the house at all times so I knew exactly what had happened and when. They could be totally fully trusted with my mother's food, cleanliness and tablets. It was lovely going to my mother seeing her peaceful, content and receive the briefing from the carers. Have no hesitation in using Blue Ribbon - outstanding.
My elderly mother has multiple disabilities but is fiercely independent. For years she had refused to even consider having a carer. However since February, she has been receiving personal care from Blue Ribbon, and now has a new lease of life. She loves her carers and loves the fact that they help her to maintain her independence. Since the Covid-19 lockdown Blue Ribbon have literally been life-savers. I can not recommend them too highly.
My dad feels very comfortable with is carers. They are kind and reliable.
Initially, the management took great care to match my father with suitable carers and also they aim to supply as few changes of carers as possible to cover holidays and sick leave etc.
All the carers provided have been efficient, kind, sympathetic and caring in a way that has given my father a new lease of life.
Together with good communication from management and carers, I am very reassured.
The carer was very helpful and always had a positive attitude. We could not have managed, let alone enjoy the holiday without her.
Thank you very much for your kind words.
I am perfectly happy with the service. The carers know what they are doing and make an excellent job of it. One of the carers has just recently saved my life by calling for an ambulance when I stopped breathing. I felt far more secure in my predicament with a trained carer who knew exactly what to do in what was a life and death situation. Thank you very much.
Excellent.
I have established a very good relationship with her two regular carers (who always 'go the extra mile') and the office manager and nothing is too much trouble.
She now needs extra support at the day centre she attends and one of her carers spends time with her there too.
We used Blue Ribbon for live-in care last year while we were on holiday. The lady who came was 'a treasure' who looked after my mother and her bungalow to perfection. My mother was singing her praises and didn't want her to leave. We have booked her again for this year.
My mother has dementia so she often doesn't remember her carers names but she enjoys their company, is very well looked after and always has good things to say about them. They, in turn, like being with her and liaise with me regularly.
Thank you very much for taking to the time to provide us with your review :)
Staff and manager really good at what they do I'm so pleased with the company they really do help look after my dad and help him with his everyday needs. I just wished I found them sooner.
My Son has early onset of Alzheimer's disease. Blue Ribbon staff provide a very caring service and I cannot praise them enough. My Son is cared for in a very professional way. He can be difficult but the carers always provide a wonderful service.
Thank you very much for taking to the time to provide us with your review :)
My nan really enjoys spending time with the carers. They are always professional and compassionate towards her and make her feel very comfortable.
My aunt's regular carers are part of an essential support network that enables me to provide continuing care for my 93-year-old aunt.
Really lovely, warm and friendly team of staff, always make you feel cared for. Very flexible, genuinely nice with nothing too much trouble.
They are very good I have confidence in the people who run things making sure a carer turns up. The specific carer allocated to me is truly great and is backed up a newish member of the management team who has been great too. It's a relief knowing she's there for holidays etc.
My father in law was cared for by a lady from Blue Ribbon. She was very kind, caring, gentle and able. She became a friend to my father in law and the family as well as being his carer. I found Blue Ribbon very prompt and efficient in finding us a carer, I would highly recommend his carer and Blue Ribbon.
All the carers that visited were polite, caring and very knowledgeable.
Dad's face would light up when they walked into the room.
The carers made a real difference to dad's last precious days - huge thanks from me (daughter) too as you made my life much more tolerable in what were very stressful times.
