Blue Ribbon provided my mother with wonderful support. Mum reflected to me that that she hadn't wanted additional home care but that Blue Ribbon's presence had improved her quality of life. She looked forward to her 'housekeeper' coming to visit her, who knew what she needed and provided friendly and uplifting company each day.

As a family we continue to be delighted with the live in care provided for my Aunt. She is incredibly well looked after by the same carer who has now become an honorary member of the family. Nothing is too much trouble.

I was trying to cope with my wife in hospital and myself having a weakening condition. My

Social worker asked if I had considered a live-in carer? I had never heard of this but within a day my carer arrived to lift the great weight off.my shoulders . What a change..Tasks that were a problem became minor. The carer fitted in seamlessly. I had delicious hot meals instead of lukewarm offerings. My carer had a lovely sense of humour. My wife came home from hospital and the carer took on the double load without a problem. Since theñ we have been looked after with care, compassion and dignity. We could not have had a better carer and hope to see her again. The company keeps a close interest on the daily situation.

I am writing in the capacity of Lasting Power of Attorney on behalf of a close family friend.
My friend had been discharged from Hospital to a Residential Care Home, which was subsequently found to be of an unsuitable standard, and as a result alternative care options had to be considered.
Dealing with my friends Care requirements has been a completely new experience for me, and without the Professional and Caring support from Kim (Manager) Blue Ribbon, I would have been out on a limb attempting to secure a suitable care package for my friend, and one which also provided me with the confidence that the Blue Ribbons package of support was caring and comprehensive.
The Carer provided (Fungai) has been very Professional, caring and has quickly formed a refreshing friendship with my friend, I have been delighted with the quality and standard of care provided by Fungai.

I would highly recommend Blue Ribbon Live in Care.

Blue Ribbon was recommended to my mum. We needed help for mum as her mobility was declining due to an arthritic back & shoulder, this limited her ability to walk & prepare meals for herself. We engaged with BR over 7 years ago, & for several years they came in 4 times a day to help Mum get up, dressed, bathed, prepare lunch, tea & help her get ready for bed. This continued right through COVID, the staff providing safe care & vital company at a time when everyone was isolated. Mum enjoyed a giggle & hearing about the girl's families & what they were going to do on holiday & they took an interest in her, sourcing favourite foods for her & flowers. After a prolonged spell in hospital Mum declined rapidly, BR could not have been more helpful & supported 7 times a day visits & when needed, overnight stays. They sourced BR live-in care for mum. They were responsive, responsible and caring, not only to Mum but also to me & supported me in chasing healthcare support which was very appreciated

Our live in carer Melanie has been with us for over 2 years, which had meant that we are able to be cared for at home, Mel is splendid in the way she cares for us. I have diverticulitis and have to be careful about diet. Mel goes out of her way to prepare delicious soups and meals.
We have a built an excellent relationship over the time Mel has been with us.

We are so glad my daughter in law found this company and have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I live in Australia and my mother became frail enough to need to transition from daily visits to full time live in carers. She would have had to go into care if not for these wonderful carers. After we left to return to Australia, mother became even more frail and was admitted to hospital. The carer stayed with her and advocated for her, during her time in hospital, did her washing and saw to her needs, as well as providing some much needed support. Mother came home and transitioned into end of life care, and I can't speak more highly of the care she received. The carers were more than paid help, they became part of our family and kept me updated of mother's progress. My mother had wonderful end of life care, in her own home and well supported by Blue Ribbon. They should be called Blue Angels! My heartfelt gratitude goes to all of the girls. Those who were able to, attended mother's funeral.

We contacted Blue Ribbon for help with care support for my father and his wife. Everything needed to be arranged within a week as Dad was being discharged from hospital. The management were really supportive, meeting with all involved and working out how best to meet the complex needs of a couple. They also found a live in carer who was able to start quickly enough to allow Dad to get home as soon as he was able. She came into a complex situation and quickly got to know everyone. She also cared for Dad and his wife brilliantly, meeting all their physical needs, keeping the flat spotless and maintaining her warmth and professionalism through some challenging times.

Mam was initially nervous about "strangers" turning up each day to make a cup of tea and help with the more awkward chores around the house. Very quickly she realised that each carer was a lifeline of conversation, reassurance, practical help both in and out of the house, essential medical care and someone she could always count on.

Blue Ribbon made a very difficult job look easy by being cheerful, caring and professional no matter what the demands. I would highly recommend them.

Outstanding, we are so pleased that we found this care provider. After really bad experiences through local authority care we were told about this care provider. The process is so easy and straightforward. Our current full time carer is Edith who is so good with my mother in law, my mother in law who has complex needs and the carers are put in place reflecting the need by a excellent team in HQ. The care plan is Outstandingly thorough and we can see this at anytime. The house is spotless and my mother in law is kept clean and tidy with all her needs met. Thank you to all the team you are angels. Edith is an outstanding carer who goes the extra mile.

Blue Ribbon Carers & Management - Professional, consistent, friendly, comfortable - words that sum up our experience from September to date.

Blue Ribbon was recommended to us by relatives and we are more than happy to have engaged the company to provide our care package required at the time, somewhat in a hurry. We have built up a lovely relationship with the regular Carers who do whatever is required on each and every visit. Being responsible for sourcing care for a loved one could have been daunting, I'm very grateful for the recommendation which led me to Blue Ribbon.

After a bad fall seven months ago, three months in hospital and rehab and a six-week free care package to enable me to return home, I needed to find my own private help, not least to allay the concerns of my close family, who all live far away. My son and I I had the same immediate reaction that only Blue Ribbon could provide the help I needed. The representative was the only one who was not trying to "sell" the services of their agency but a hands-on manager who responded to all my concerns with a practical and positive attitude.

My principal carer is absolutely wonderful: always cheerful and pleasant, unobtrusively tactful, extremely efficient, flexible and obliging (if at all possible, she is always prepared to help me with other things, away from, as well as inside, my house. My regular Sunday morning carer is also excellent. They have both actually enhanced my life at home in contrast to all previous 'carers' I have dealt with. I feel incredibly fortunate!

Blue Ribbon have been providing companionship for my father-in-law since the beginning of the year. The care workers are always on time, professional and deal with him so well. They take him out for a walk or sit and chat with him if he prefers. Their kindness and compassion enable my mother-in-law to leave the house and have some time for herself.  I would not hesitate to recommend Blue Ribbon to anyone who is dealing with a partner with dementia.
