We are delighted with the care my mum receives. It has made such a huge difference in her life which in turn gives us peace of mind. Everyone who visits is caring, kind and thoughtful and the supervisors are always available should there be any concerns. She loves having a chat and this has lifted her mood. The Tailor Maid service has passion, compassion and commitment to high-quality care. The management team is responsive to suggestions for minor improvements and tweaks to individual needs. Two-way communication is strong. Routine checkpoints are scheduled for straightforward discussions on changing client needs. Advice is proffered if sought, with clear boundaries on where expertise strays into the work of other professionals. Staff who attend each day are, without exception, wonderful. They bring cheer, happiness and a gentle refusal to be dissuaded from the tasks they must perform. Each brings tales from the outside world, some news and sport and some details of their own lives, to open a window on what is transpiring beyond the client’s limited horizon. The Tailor Maid service has patience for and respect for the client. It maintains an individual’s dignity and self-respect. Nothing is rushed. Choice and decision making is retained by the client as long as appropriate.

I currently live with my mother 4/5 days a week. However, since I started doing this approximately 13 years ago, due to my mother's severe mobility problems, latterly I started to struggle running my day-to-day business and helping my mother. We were recommended Tailor Maid and they have made a huge difference for the good. Delightful staff and I can carry on safe in the knowledge.

I honestly don't know how I managed before I had the brilliant care for Mum that you now provide. I have been a full-time carer for Mum for three years now and her carers are truly hard-working and amazing! The care provided by Tailor Maid Home Care is first class and literally, we would not cope without them. Their support means that my mum gets to stay in her own home, which is what she has chosen to do. My mum loves all the carers who come in. She enjoys listening to their chat, whilst getting the help she needs. They know her well so know when extra support is needed and are quick to respond to changing needs.

My mother is very happy with the service provided. The carers are very attentive to her needs and always have a smile on their faces. The carers listen to her needs and action them appropriately. It is nice for her to have their visits and my mother looks forward to their chats. We would recommend Tailor Maid home care.

Tailor Maid provide a carer for 45 minutes each morning to assist me with washing and dressing plus carrying out domestic activities such as dishwashing. I am happy with all of this, the only complaint being that the rostered times of arrival vary too widely.

This is an excellent service and we are extremely pleased with it. The carers are kind, attentive and efficient. They are caring and always helpful. Also good listeners.

Every single member of the Tailor Maid Homecare team has provided my elderly father with exemplary care. He is always treated with kindness, patience and respect and all tasks are carried out to an excellent standard. The carers looking after my mother do a terrific job. They are very caring, professional, well trained and respectful. We are very happy with the service provided and would certainly recommend Tailor Maid home care.

Care assistants are very good, they are careful, competent and concerned for the client. They care for the client and this is apparent in the extra effort they put in to make sure the client is looked after, both physically and mentally.

Staff are well presented and generally on time. Well trained in all aspects of care, especially moving and handling. If there is a downside, it's a communication issue as changes are made to rotas and clients are not advised, especially when clients are used to particular carers.

Service used for respite care for myself looking after my wife with advanced dementia. Standard of service is good. Carers provided are excellent. However, as the service is to assist me as the prime carer to get a break, it is vital that there is a level of consistency in the hours required. These breaks are vitally important to me. Varying start times and duration of respite are difficult to deal with. I already have difficulty with staff analysing, but the carer support is as important as that to the cared for.

The care and compassion received by my sick husband and myself were superb.

At this time, I have had service from carers for over one and a half years. I'm fighting my council to be assessed for more help, especially as I am losing my fingers.
