Tailor Maid Home Care is an award-winning family-run business which delivers first-class care at home.

Delivering care and support to people in their own homes, helps people retain their independence, which is what the team is committed to do.

Care packages are tailored to individuals needs, personalised to ensure only excellent quality care is provided.

Staff all undertake SVQ2/3 in Health and Social care as part of their training.

It is fully registered and regulated by the Care Inspectorate and all staff are fully disclosure checked and trained to National Care Standards. They are specialists in dementia care; all staff complete the Best Practice in Dementia Care course in conjunction with Stirling University dementia Centre.

The care inspectorate report is available for 2025.

Friendly and competent staff. Willing to help and provide useful information when necessary. Office staff easily contacted and helpful in resolving any problems or changes in appointment times. Carers are reliable in fulfilling timed appointments.

This is a small company, which I like, for they keep a tight grip on staff and office management. Should one of their staff have been held up in keeping their appointment with me, then I receive a call immediately from head office, to keep me informed o the reason. Each morning, I get help from one
of the team to assist in washing and dressing, make my bed, or change it, wash breakfast dishes, or put out the rubbish. One on the rota is capable and will do anything to help in a willing and cheerful way. I look forward to their visits.

Having used this service provider for mum's care at home for the last two years, we have been very pleased and satisfied with the level of care provided. The staff provide a high level of friendly care to our mum and treat her with kindness, care and dignity. The staff are scheduled on a rota basis
and where possible, this is maintained with the same staff for consistency and to the benefit of mum's care.

Confident Dad will be looked after as if he were their own relative. All carers are professional and truly care about their client's health and wellbeing. On the rare occasion an issue arises, it is dealt with promptly and professionally. We have all had to adjust to a new normal with COVID restrictions
and to Tailor Maid's credit, they have done a sterling job in very difficult circumstances. Service provision has been maintained to a very high standard, which our family appreciates and are very grateful.

We have been very happy with all aspects of the service provided by Tailor Maid since moving the care of my father into their hands in January 2020. Dementia can mean unpredictability in the demeanour and cooperation of the cared and Tailor Maid have been empathetic and supportive in the provision of
their services. Without exception their staff have been polite, respectful and engaging, never hesitating to go the extra mile. They have eased a considerable burden on my mother and all this through the coronavirus crisis.

The service that Tailor Maid provides has enabled my mother to continue to live in her own home safely. Her support is provided by carefully selected staff who understand and respect her individual needs and interests.
I have a great level of trust and comfort when she is with a Tailor Maid when I

Over the last 3 years, Tailor Maid has provided an extremely professional and caring service to my mum. Their expertise and focus in dementia care is invaluable. They are extremely well managed and implemented by the carers on an individual level. Attention to detail by all the staff is continuously
observed. The carers have all formed an emotional attachment to my mum which has added to her enjoyment of the help provided. So too has the continuity of care. Tailor Maid definitely go out of their way to offer a value-added service; an example of this was seen during the recent harsh winter where they never failed to get to my mum. I thoroughly recommend Tailor Maid.
