I have used various care companies in the past with unsatisfactory results. However, Bridgewater meets our satisfaction and all our requirements, 100%.
Thank you for your excellent review and for putting your trust in us, we will continue to provide an outstanding service to you and i will pass on your comments to your staff team.
All the staff that visit are kind and friendly.
Having gone from having no care to having carers twice a day we were afraid of the intrusion to family life. Now we feel the carers are a part of our family. They are always very pleasant and professional and I feel the care they provide is always person-centred and I have never been made to feel embarrassed about anything which could so easily have been the situation.
We are very grateful for your very kind review of our care. Thank you for putting your trust in us. We aim to treat our customers like they are members of our own family and it sounds like we are achieving this, which makes us so proud. Warmest regards and best wishes.
My wife has Alzheimer's and has almost completely shut down. She can't talk, walk, write or watch TV, etc. However, the ladies that attend to her everyday needs are kind, understanding, very caring, and are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for them when looking after my wife. They treat her the same way that my daughter does. They are excellent. The office staff are always obliging and will organise anything they can do to assist and help both my wife and myself. I cannot praise them all too much. 'If it can be done, it will be done'.
My Father was diagnosed with mixed dementia last year. He is physically well, however following a holiday I discovered that he had sometimes forgotten to eat. Bridgewater Home Care came to my rescue and now visit him twice daily to ensure he has eaten and all is well. Nothing is too much trouble for them, he sees the same girls every day and now we consider them friends. The office staff are great, so polite and accommodating. I can't recommend Bridgewater enough, they all really do care!
The staff are very good and go above and beyond their job to ensure mum has all she needs.

Meet the Team (6)
I have worked within the care sector for over 11 years, starting as a carer. Over the years I have gained experience along the way and progressed as I learned the different roles.
I am the Registered Manager for Bridgewater Home Care Wigan, with a focus on providing high quality, person-centred care to all.
Jen has been part of the Bridgewater Family for many years, beginning as a Care Specialist, working up to Senior Care Specialist, and is now part of our office team as our Care Coordinator.
Kim began with Bridgewater Home Care as a Care Specialist before joining the office team as Deputy Care Coordinator.
I've been with Bridgewater Home Care for over 10 years now, and I look after the Recruitment and Training for Bridgewater Home Care Wigan.
As a family, we established Bridgewater Home Care because of our own personal experiences of care. We saw a real need for a quality, private home care service for vulnerable adults in the area, that treated people with dignity and worked around what they wanted as well as their immediate needs.
We are here to change the way in which care is provided and make a real positive impact on the quality of life of local people in the area.
I am extremely happy and appreciative that I have the opportunity to work in the local community, meeting some fantastic people and helping vulnerable adults in the community to maintain their independence with personalised and holistic care in their own homes.
We have a great team of enthusiastic, compassionate and nurturing Care Specialists who encourage, stimulate and assist our clients with an array of varied activities, from companionship and home help to personal care and live-in care.
You can feel confident that will be supported by our friendly and professional team throughout your journey – we are always here to help.
I joined Bridgewater Home Care (and the care industry) in 2020 after a career in the accountancy world. It was a big change of direction for me, but I love working alongside the Bridgewater Family and helping to deliver a service that means so much to those in our local communities.
