I have always found Burley's to be extremely competent, caring and professional in caring for my cousin who has dementia. Nothing is too much trouble and they have dealt with several difficult situations brilliantly.

I have a daughter who is in her fifties and has physical and learning disabilities and needs some hours of support each week. About a year ago we found Burley's Home Care and it has turned out to be a fantastic help. My daughter refers to her Support Workers as 'The Burley Girls' and she feels that the staff who come to help her are her friends.
Although she lacks confidence in many social situations my daughter is very happy to call into the Burley office where the staff are so friendly and helpful.

For me, it has been wonderful to know that Burley Home Care is involved so I don't need to worry about my daughter on a daily basis as I know that I will hear at once if there's any problem. The service does appear to be expensive compared with some other options, but having tried some of the alternatives I am happy that we're getting good value for the money with Burley's Home Care.

Burley's Home Care have given my neighbour a reliable, professional service enabling her to stay at home and be supported in all aspects of personal care and nutrition. The staff were kind, considerate and observant. As a health professional myself I am unable to recommend any service provider but thank you all.

We have no complaints regarding the staff that help my father each day. The agency owners however are not what we would expect. They kept sending a carer to my father's house at weekends my father was not comfortable with in spite of being asked not to many times by both my father and myself. They can be rude and have a bullying attitude on the phone with my father. So much so we now use another agency at weekends. Occasionally if somebody is sick they have no replacement. They are reasonably value for money.

"Home care should feel like an extension of family."

I have dedicated over 30 years of my life to the care sector, and home care remains my passion. Born and raised in Ringwood, I’ve always been driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. My experience spans hands-on care, care management, training, and regulatory compliance, reinforcing my belief that everyone should feel safe, respected, and empowered in their own home.
For me, home care is not just about meeting needs—it’s about listening, understanding, and ensuring that clients have real choices. At Burleys Home Care, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we create bespoke care plans that honour each individual’s preferences, routines, and dignity, allowing them to continue living life on their own terms in the comfort of home.
Arranging care for a loved one can feel like a big decision, with so much to consider. That’s why I make it my mission to be a friendly face, a listening ear, and a trusted guide for families navigating this journey. Whether you need support understanding care options, guidance with dementia care, or simply reassurance that your loved one is in safe hands, I’m always happy to help. As a Dementia Champion, I am particularly passionate about ensuring families feel supported, informed, and confident in their decisions.

For me, Burleys Home Care isn’t just a business—it’s about care and support that makes a real difference. Every day, I feel privileged to be part of a service that helps families, supports individuals, and brings peace of mind to those who need it most.

My Philosophy: “Everyone has the right to feel safe, valued, and in control of their care. I’m here to make sure that happens. Keeping your heart where it belongs.”

“Care should be personal, dignified, and feel like home.”

I know how difficult it can be to find the right care for someone you love. I’ve been there myself, and I understand the worry, the uncertainty, and the overwhelming responsibility of making the best decision. That’s why Carly and I founded Burleys Home Care—to create a service that families could trust completely, where care is not just professional, but personal.
My role as Director is about more than just overseeing operations—it’s about ensuring that every client feels comfortable, respected, and truly cared for. I love meeting families, listening to their concerns, and helping them find the best care solutions for their unique circumstances. Whether you need help understanding private care funding, navigating NHS Personal Health Budgets (PHBs), or arranging complex care planning, I am here to offer clear, practical advice and reassurance.
I believe that great home care goes beyond just helping with daily tasks—it’s about building relationships, promoting independence, and ensuring that clients genuinely enjoy life. Whether someone needs a few hours of companionship each week or 24/7 live-in care, I make sure that our team provides support that is tailored, respectful, and enhances each client’s well-being.

I am also incredibly passionate about staff development and creating a workplace where caregivers feel valued, supported, and motivated. A happy, well-trained care team is essential to delivering the highest standard of care, so I make it a priority to invest in their training, career progression, and overall well-being.

My Philosophy: “Home care should never feel like a service—it should feel like family. Every client deserves kindness, respect, and the highest standard of support.”

I have spent my career in both NHS and private healthcare, working across care coordination, service transformation, and quality improvement. My experience has given me a deep understanding of how to ensure that care is not only professional and efficient but also truly personal and compassionate. At Burleys Home Care, my role is to make sure that every client receives the highest standard of support, tailored to their needs, preferences, and lifestyle.

I know how important it is for families to feel reassured that their loved ones are receiving the best possible care. Whether it’s personal care, companionship, dementia support, or live-in care, I work closely with our team to ensure that every service is delivered with kindness, dignity, and respect. For families who live far away, I focus on keeping them connected and informed, giving them confidence that their loved one is happy, safe, and well cared for.

I also take great pride in supporting our caregivers, ensuring they have the training, guidance, and resources they need to provide exceptional care. A valued and well-supported team leads to the best possible experience for our clients, and I am passionate about fostering a culture where everyone feels appreciated and motivated to make a difference.

My Philosophy: "Care should always feel personal, compassionate, and reassuring—for both clients and their families."
