More than happy with caregivers.

Giving the rest of the family a lot of comfort, as we know Mum and Dad are in good hands.

Over the last 18 months or more care givers from Home Instead at Leek have looked after my father and provided an exemplary service, I cannot praise them highly enough. Communication has been excellent with a speedy response to all my requests and appropriate feedback where necessary. Everyone that I have been in contact with from all areas of the organisation have shown a high degree of empathy and understanding, a truly professional approach and a credit to their worthy profession. If you need this service for a family member look no further.

I am very happy with the care and enjoy my carers company and find her very helpful. It is a nice break to my week and I enjoy the games we play and getting out of the house.

My father is 90 years old, has always been fervently independent. He is now frail with 'fluctuating capacity' due to Alzheimer's. It took the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic to persuade him to accept the support of carers! Now he said, "I can't fault them. They are all A1" - absolutely true. They provide excellent care, all executed with such patience, good humour, whilst maintaining his dignity. He enjoys their conversation and companionship as they are attending to all his other needs. The carers, management and admin teams are all wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble and the attention to detail in all aspects of his care is excellent. A huge thank you to you all!

Home Instead provided an excellent level of care. All staff who cared for my mother appeared to be well trained and very competent. The staff were always sensitive, caring and compassionate towards my mother. They were always flexible and provided an excellent level of care. My mother went from a position of not really wanting caregivers in the beginning to not wanting them to leave at the end of each visit, which is a testament to the quality of care provided.

Invaluable halfway house prior to going into a care home. Caregivers all very helpful, kind, polite, which helped reassure a sceptical and frightened old lady.

The Leek Home Instead has completely changed my father's and my life. The girls from the office are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. Whatever I ask for they try to accommodate even at the last minute. The carers themselves are angels - they have become family - extremely supportive, thorough, caring, helpful, kind etc, the girls are absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend your company enough. A million times better than a care home.

Staff have remained positive and caring when dealing with my sister who could be very difficult at times.

They would all treat her with dignity and compassion and were well chosen for the work they did.

Each and every member was respectful and thoroughly professional. No task was too much and without the support of the team, I really do not know how we would have coped. Home Instead really do care and communicate effectively. The NHS could learn a lot from the way in which they deliver their service.

Found carers to be miserable and ignorant. I am 76 years old, very ill, not treated as I should be. I have been called a creep for one, sometimes they complain about what they have to do for me, makes me feel terrible.

Good communication with visitors.

Taken shopping which is very helpful as I am disabled and cannot get out otherwise.
