We are delighted with the care provided to my mother. She is very independent but welcomes the carers daily visit and readily accepts their help and advice regarding movement/exercise and general wellbeing. All this helps her to maintain her

Independence. We have been particularly grateful this month as she has had a few medical issues which needed sorting . The carers help, assistance and communication has been invaluable .

Flexicare have looked after our friend since January 2026 after he was released from a 2 week stay in hospital. One of the conditions of his discharge was that due to ongoing issues (mild dementia), he either went into a care home or had carers coming in to his home. We chose Flexicare after a paramedic who attended when he was admitted into hospital recommended Flexicare as she had personal experience of the company and highly recommended them. From day 1 Flexicare have been like a breath of fresh air. The carers are lovely and he has really accepted them after years of refusing help. They dispense his meds ( which are now kept in a locked box), do his cleaning, washing and ironing. Flexicare have taken a massive load off my shoulders. My husband and I have been loooking after our friend for 15 years, and we can now spend time with our grandchildren, and even go on holiday in the knowledge that he is safe and looked after. We are so grateful for their help.

Excellent service from flexi care. From the day they started looking after my dad we are overly happy with his care.
He can be very tricky some days, but we are always kept upto date on his care. And if we need to call the office, they are always happy to help, and nothing is a problem.
The carers are really lovely, and dad seems to have really taken to them all. Our previous care company weren't anything like these ladies. They have so much support, and nothing is an issue. They talk to him in a certain way, which is hard when they have Dementia . But he's doing well.
Dad recently had a fall, and we were told straight away. The carer did everything she could, and went above and beyond to support him.
The company are so good, ive recommend them to few of my friends who need carers for family members. Nothing is a problem. They will help whenever possible.

We are very grateful .

I have nothing but praise & thanks for this excellent, outstanding care provider, which extends from the management team & office staff to all the carers. Flexicare at Home have provided care for my mum for several years now. They are a very professional, flexible & responsive care company who have always listened and acknowledged any concerns I may have about Mum who has mixed dementia and mobility problems. On more than one occasion when Mum has been very unwell and required extra care whether a 2nd carer or additional visits they have always met Mum's care needs. Mum loves the carers who visit who often go over and above which means the family can trust that Mum is receiving the best possible care. It is notable that the carers receive training to a high standard which is reflected in the care provided & the regular audits & most importantly Mum's approval. Communication is excellent and I recommend Flexicare at home to anyone looking for one of the best care providers in the area.

Following the loss of my mother, I will deeply miss the carers and the Flexicare team. For almost eight years, they were more than carers they were compassionate people who truly understood my mum's needs.
Despite her complex care package, the team consistently went above and beyond to support her. Their dedication, consistency, and genuine care stood out every day.
They not only provided exceptional care for my mum but also gave me peace of mind during a very difficult time.

My son has been with Flexicare ever since his care started well over 15 years ago after they were recommended to us and we have never felt the need to look elsewhere. What started out as care for a few hours a day for 5 days a week has now become a 7 day care and companionship package. When it comes to the care side of the package the staff have always been well trained, caring and attentive to my sons needs. The companionship received is tuned to my sons wishes and at times will challenge him to come out of his comfort zone which is needed to help cope with his anxiety issues.. I have always found everyone in this organisation to be fully tuned into my my sons requirements and my wishes from the top to the bottom of this company.

I cannot recommend Flexicare highly enough. I changed care companies to Flexicare in January 2026 for my mother and so glad I did. The carers are absolutely amazing with my Mum. I cannot praise them all enough and I am so grateful they are looking after her. They treat her with such respect, care and love and I am blown away with the quality of care. I have just had a holiday and in addition to the 4 visits a day, I implemented overnight care. This was the 1st holiday in 2 years that I could relax and know Mum was safe and cared for. The carers that attend Mum are consistent which is so important due to her having dementia and she has become very close to them and looks forward to their visits. The communication from the office is second to none and I am informed of any concerns immediately. I appreciate everything Flexicare have done and can only describe them as exceptional.

Flexicare have provided Mum with excellent care and support for a few years now, and Mum loves them to bits.
Well-trained & conscientious staff means that Mum looks forward to her visits as she enjoys their company. Regular care package assessments and reviews have meant that Mum has had the best care available with no interruption.
There is always someone we can speak to about any issues that may crop up, and when they do, they are listened to & acted upon immediately.

Each and every carer I have met has been just lovely with my Mum. Their confidence in mobilising her and ability to encourage her to take her medication (when often she doesn't want to) is done with care, kindness and humour. All of which Mum and I appreciate.
Mum enjoys the activities her carers do with her (like jigsaws and baking) and whilst she struggles to remember who everyone is, she is always pleased to see them.

Thank you all for bringing so caring.

I cannot express how highly I rate Flexicare. The care team were amazing. There was nothing they would not do for my wife and me in her final days. .Often my wife would refuse my help with medication or personal care but every member of staff had the knack of knowing exactly how to cajole her into cooperating and even get a cheeky response. If an extra carer was needed, they would be there in a few minutes. I cannot thank the whole team enough. I would recommend Flexicare to anyone.

2yr 3mth 19dy in total. Experiencing problems after a few months. Always told they would look into things but never do. Slowly took way all the promises they made. Care office was a big problem (not all the staff but a few) nobody took me serious, told I was mentally ill constantly they think Autism is mental illness its not at all. Carers willing for Autism training but told to read a book. Routine and consistency was the main importance, but constantly broken and my needs were unmet. Caused severe distress but always promised better. Asked for healthier foods but it wouldn't be followed so expensive fruit was left to decompose constantly so i stopped. Past few months, care manager kept phoning OOH/OC to tell me she had studied my meds said not to be used etc. Care office refused blue inhaler so i had to get ambulance. The One star is for the carers you know who you are. Always remember to check on you loved ones regularly. Always be sure on essential training as it can be a lifesaver

I can't recommend Flexicare highly enough! They provided care for my mother for twelve years, starting as a twice-daily visit, progressing to full care and, ultimately, the end of life phase when, suddenly, round-the-clock care was needed. This was achieved seamlessly, removing the worries I had about Mum's welfare.

The carers were uniformly sensitive and supportive to Mum, always providing full shifts and often going over the allotted hours and all of the team of carers and office staff were patient and empathetic towards us both.

On a personal note, I will not forget the guard of honour formed by twelve carers at Mum's funeral, and the subsequent help offered to the family.

I cant speak highly enough of the team at Flexicare and quite honestly I am not sure how we could have got through the past few months without the support of the most amazing, kind, compassionate staff I have ever come across.

Flexicare initially provided care for my mum but when my Dad's care needs increased they were quickly able to provide support for him as well, meaning that they were able to stay in the family home. When my mum died the team supported my dad and were able to increase their visits to make sure that he was coping which was very reassuring for us as we live away. We knew he was being well looked after. Sadly my dad's condition deteriorated resulting in a hospital admission and we had to face the prospect of providing end of life care. After a phone call to the Flexicare office we were able to arrange for him to be discharged home and the team provided the most amazing compassionate care we could ever have wished for him, in his own home.

I have been involved in social care from a young age, volunteering across a variety of settings since my teenage years. I am passionate about delivering holistic care, with a strong focus on emotional and psychological well-being alongside physical health, and I have a keen interest in the use of assisted technologies. Supporting families and loved ones who act as primary carers is also very important to me.

My research interests include approaches to maintaining emotional well-being, dementia care, and nutrition in later life.

I strongly believe in promoting self-development within the workforce and am committed to supporting learning and training opportunities for all staff.

I have been married since 1978 and have two sons and three grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, reading, and visiting my extended family in Ireland.

Hello, I am Kim.

After university, I began my career in IT, working my way up to Technical Director at a successful software house over a period of 10 years. I then went on to work as an independent consultant for a major global bank for over 15 years, gaining a wide range of experience while always focusing on delivering a high level of service.

As Flexicare at Home grew, I joined the business in 2012 as Finance and IT Director to support the company in these areas. Today, I continue to be involved on a part-time basis, looking after the financial side of the business and helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Being part of a family-run business is something I value greatly, and I take pride in supporting the team to ensure we can continue delivering reliable, high-quality care to the people we serve.

Outside of work, I enjoy daily walks around Mirfield as well as spending time on the golf course.

Hello, I’m Lindsey.

I began my career in childcare as a nursery nurse and went on to qualify as a SENCO, developing a strong foundation in supporting children with additional needs. I later moved into a home care role, providing specialist support for children with complex clinical needs in their own homes. Through my commitment and experience, I progressed into management and became a Registered Manager, overseeing 32 children’s care packages.

Following the sale of that business, I moved into adult services as a Registered Manager for a domiciliary care provider covering Leeds and Barnsley. In this role, I managed two offices and continued to build on my leadership skills, drawing on my experience across both children’s and adult community care settings.

This journey naturally led me to my current role as Operations Manager at Flexicare at Home, where I’m passionate about delivering high-quality, safe, and truly person-centred care.

I hold a Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management, a Level 4 qualification in Safeguarding, as well as childcare and SENCO qualifications, all of which underpin my approach to delivering effective and compassionate care.

Outside of work, I’m married with two sons, and together with my husband, we run a busy household that also includes two dogs and two cats. I really value my downtime with family, spending time outdoors, walking, mountain biking with the kids, and enjoying football. Sundays, especially, are all about football, where you’ll often find me on the sidelines cheering on my son.

I’ve been fortunate to grow with the Flexicare team over the years, starting as a Care Assistant, progressing to Community Team Leader, and now working as one of the Care Coordinators. It’s been a rewarding journey, and one that reflects my passion for delivering high-quality care.

In my current role, I support the smooth running of the service through care coordination, rota management, and assisting with HR functions. I enjoy being able to support both our clients and our team, and I always aim to approach my work with care, attention to detail, and understanding.

My name is Karla, and I am happy to be one of the three Care Coordinators at Flexicare at Home and a member of a strong Management Team.

I began my career in education, supporting children with complex needs and disabilities. This role provided valuable experience working alongside multidisciplinary professionals, including speech and language therapists, psychologists, behaviour specialists, and teams at Manchester Children’s Hospital. These experiences helped shape my strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Following a period of travelling, I returned to the UK and, after supporting my grandmother during a decline in her health, felt inspired to transition into adult social care. Since then, I have gained extensive frontline experience, progressing to senior carer and into management roles.

Most recently, I worked in Care Quality Assurance, where I was responsible for monitoring service standards and ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and well-governed care.

I have two Level 3 Diplomas: 1) Care, 2) Child Care and Education. I have certificates in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) and teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) and a Diploma in Mindfulness.

I am delighted to be working for Flexicare at Home, a service that clearly prioritises the well-being of its service users and values a supportive team environment.

I look forward to contributing positively to the service.

Hi! I’m Eleanor. I’m originally from Leeds and have recently returned to the UK after a few years living in Australia. I love to travel and am always dreaming about my next adventure.

Professionally, I’ve built my career supporting people with complex mental health needs, alongside experience in disability and aged care. I’ve also worked in residential childcare, which really shaped my approach to person-centred support and working with a wide range of individual needs. Earlier in my career, I worked in sales, which helped me develop strong communication skills and a real passion for building meaningful relationships.

I hold a degree in Counselling and Mental Health, as well as a Level 5 qualification in Management, Coaching and Mentoring. Most recently, I worked as a Service Coordinator in Australia, leading service delivery for 60 clients with disabilities, substance misuse challenges, and complex mental health needs.

I was really drawn to Flexicare at Home not only because of its ethos—it genuinely feels like a diamond in the social care world—but also because of the varied nature of the role. I work alongside the other Care Coordinators, taking turns to support care management, HR, and rota management. Gaining experience across all three areas allows me to fully appreciate everything that goes into providing a high-quality, premium service.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at a yoga class, listening to music, or making plans with friends. I’m naturally outgoing, love meeting new people, and always enjoy a good laugh.
