I am so glad Flexicare at Home were recommended to me 10 years ago when my mother first started needing assistance around the home. Her care needs have increased over the years and Flexicare were always there for her. I have also valued their advice and support.
Thank you for your kind words, it was an honour and pleasure to support your mother. Our carers and the office staff have so many fond memories of her, both at home and when she visited the office it would be impossible to put them all into writing. We wish you both all the best in the future and please keep in touch.
Kind RegardsKevin Whaley
The care that my mother received was excellent. The carers were obviously vocationally motivated and was obvious in everything they did. They made my mum smile every day and worked well alongside our family. We were kept informed constantly and were always there for us as a family, very professional and very caring. Would highly recommend these lovely ladies.
Thank you for the kind words, I know the carers and office team supporting your mother thought very highly of her and looked forward to visiting. Your mum is greatly missed and we would like to wish all the family the very best for the future.
Kind RegardsKevin Whaley and the Flexicare at Home team.
So pleased to have found your services, always reliable.
Thank you for such kind words, it is a pleasure supporting you and our carers are very passionate about ensuring you receive the best care possible. We hope you continue to be happy with the service and should you have any concerns or wish to discuss ways we can improve your care, please get in touch with your care manager who will be happy to help.
Both my aunt and I are very pleased with the service provided by Flexicare at Home. My aunt has dementia and the care and kindness offered by all her carers is wonderful as well as being reassuring. They are polite, prompt, reliable, very willing to help and find solutions to any problems. They're particularly patient with me and my anxieties over my aunt's condition and offer sound advice and problem-solving no matter how trivial my worry may seem. Thank goodness Flexicare are available and the staff they employ seek nothing but to offer excellence in care. I wholeheartedly recommend their services.
Thank you for such lovely feedback, it is a pleasure supporting your aunt. Your aunt's carers will be delighted to hear how satisfied you are with the support they are providing. Please don't hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or concerns (no matter how trivial). Kind Regards, Flexicare at Home.
Very supportive. Good listeners. Punctual, attentive, understanding. Very good with my disabilities (mental health, sight loss, other, allergies). Informative and knowledgeable. Willingness to please and accommodate at all times. Willing to go that extra mile. Will work with all family members. Eager to be available at all times. Really happy and feel safe and trust my care team.
Thank you for your kind words, it is a pleasure supporting you wherever we can and I know the girls look forward to taking you on outings. We are looking forward to being able to take you back out into the community, especially your exercise classes once the lockdown is over and it is safe to do...
Management organisation are very professional and friendly. Carers were competent and willing to do other tasks that were required of them. Overall, the experience was very good and would recommend this service.
Thank you for your kind words, it was a pleasure to support your husband - we hope he has settled into the residential home and that you are both coping well. If you are ever in need of our services please don't hesitate to contact us. Kind Regards, Flexicare at Home.
For the last 2 1/2 years in the life of my wife, who was suffering from Alzheimer's, I had the services of Flexicare At Home. I could not have chosen a better company. The management and staff were excellent. The girls who came attend to the needs of my wife, in all kinds of weather, were punctual and carried out their tasks with tenderness, professionalism and dignity, pointing out, at times, where improvement could be made to her situation by obtaining equipment such as hoists etc. On many occasions, the carers treated my wife as one of their own family by giving her a little kiss on her forehead before they left. Little touches like this give you the reassurance that they do really care for their clients. I would have no hesitation in recommending Flexicare to anyone seeking care services for their loved ones.
Thank you for such kind and considerate words, it truly was a pleasure to support you and your wife during such a challenging time. The carers often speak fondly of you both and miss the little treats you would give them during their visits. We hope you are staying safe and well, please keep in touch.
Highly satisfied. Would recommend to anyone and if my health should deteriorate will seek their assistance again.
Thank you for your kind words, it was a pleasure supporting you while you were unwell and we are happy to read you are healthy still. The carers miss seeing you and your lovely dog, you brightened up their days. Stay safe and keep in touch if there is anything you need. Kind Regards.
This care company is a loving and caring, and excellent provider. All staff are very professional but that does not stop them from being friendly. If there is ever a problem it is very quickly investigated and put right. As the person using the service, I was asked how I would like things done and I could be sure that is what would be carried out. I feel my point of view was respected.
Thank you for your kind words, we are honoured to provide you with the support you require and are very pleased to read that you feel your views are listened to. The company ethos has always been centred around a person-centred approach to care.
The staff have a professional but very caring approach and treated my mum with respect and dignity at all times. The last few years have been a very stressful time, trying to meet the changing needs of mum whilst ensuring the best quality of life. Flexicare staff, at all levels, have supported our journey with compassion and commitment.
Mum's needs now require residential care but I am so happy that, with the support of Flexicare, she was able to maintain a happy and relatively independent life, in her own home, for as long as she did. I would (and already have) recommend Flexicare to others.
Thank you for such lovely words, it was truly a delight to care for your mother for so long and she is already being missed by the carers and office staff who had the pleasure of meeting her at some of our events. We are glad to hear your mum has settled into the residential home and we loved the...
At the darkest days of our lives, the carers and admin staff at Flexicare Wakefield showed us professionalism, compassion along with humour. They became part of our family with my wife always their priority. The carers were always upgrading their training to deal with the ever-changing types of equipment and ensuring hygiene parameters to the highest level as my wife's health deteriorated. Without them our lives would have been very different, thank you all.
Thank you for your kind words, it was an honour supporting you and your wife during such a difficult time in your lives. The carers and office staff very much miss the humour and banter you brought to their days. We hope you are well.
Flexicare provided wonderful care for my dad and always had time for a chat with him, and listened to his stories.
Thank you for your kind words, it was a pleasure to support your dad and hope he has settled into his new setting well. His care manager and carers often speak of his lovely, funny nature and miss listening to his stories.
We have been using Flexicare At Home since 2018. They have been "brilliant". I cannot praise them enough.
Thank you for your kind words. The carers and management feel privileged to support your wife and look forward to seeing you and your wife at each and every visit.
Flexicare staff have been looking after my husband for 2/3 years until his death last month. They were all prompt, very competent, well turned out, and a pleasure to have in the house. My husband looked forward to them coming. They brightened his day when his quality of life was not good. Thye became friends to both of us. I cannot praise them too highly. Dealings with the office were also very good. Requests for assistance to hospital visits and the like were always met. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company and indeed have already done so.
Thank you for your very kind words, I know the carers were very fond of your husband, as were those in the office who had the pleasure of meeting him.
I can't say enough good things about this company, their service is excellent. The carers are first class and provide a first class service. The company are totally flexible in their approach to delivering care and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.

Meet the Team (9)
Hello, I am Kevin.
I am passionate about ensuring people receive the highest quality care and support. As Managing Director, I oversee the day-to-day running of the business while also leading on the development of new opportunities and strategic partnerships. My focus is on creating more holistic, person-centred care packages that truly meet the needs of those we support.
I am committed to continually improving individuals’ well-being and peace of mind by broadening access to services and developing new ventures that complement the care we provide in people’s own homes. A key priority for me is creating more community-based opportunities that enhance quality of life and help reduce loneliness.
I studied Business Management at the University of Leeds and hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my young family and friends, as well as swimming, travelling, and supporting Leeds United.
Hello, I am Ann.
I have been involved in social care from a young age, volunteering across a variety of settings since my teenage years. This early experience inspired me to make a significant career change, leaving behind a successful 29-year career in business and IT management to pursue a new path in health and social care.
To support this transition, I completed a Psychology Honours degree along with postgraduate studies at the University of Leeds, and I also hold a Level 7 Diploma in Management & Leadership in Health & Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services.
I am passionate about delivering holistic care, with a strong focus on emotional and psychological well-being alongside physical health, and I have a keen interest in the use of assisted technologies. Supporting families and loved ones who act as primary carers is also very important to me.
My research interests include approaches to maintaining emotional well-being, dementia care, and nutrition in later life.
I strongly believe in promoting self-development within the workforce and am committed to supporting learning and training opportunities for all staff.
I have been married since 1978 and have two sons and three grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, reading, and visiting my extended family in Ireland.
Hello, I am Kim.
After university, I began my career in IT, working my way up to Technical Director at a successful software house over a period of 10 years. I then went on to work as an independent consultant for a major global bank for over 15 years, gaining a wide range of experience while always focusing on delivering a high level of service.
As Flexicare at Home grew, I joined the business in 2012 as Finance and IT Director to support the company in these areas. Today, I continue to be involved on a part-time basis, looking after the financial side of the business and helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Being part of a family-run business is something I value greatly, and I take pride in supporting the team to ensure we can continue delivering reliable, high-quality care to the people we serve.
Outside of work, I enjoy daily walks around Mirfield as well as spending time on the golf course.
Hello, I’m Lindsey.
I began my career in childcare as a nursery nurse and went on to qualify as a SENCO, developing a strong foundation in supporting children with additional needs. I later moved into a home care role, providing specialist support for children with complex clinical needs in their own homes. Through my commitment and experience, I progressed into management and became a Registered Manager, overseeing 32 children’s care packages.
Following the sale of that business, I moved into adult services as a Registered Manager for a domiciliary care provider covering Leeds and Barnsley. In this role, I managed two offices and continued to build on my leadership skills, drawing on my experience across both children’s and adult community care settings.
This journey naturally led me to my current role as Operations Manager at Flexicare at Home, where I’m passionate about delivering high-quality, safe, and truly person-centred care.
I hold a Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management, a Level 4 qualification in Safeguarding, as well as childcare and SENCO qualifications, all of which underpin my approach to delivering effective and compassionate care.
Outside of work, I’m married with two sons, and together with my husband, we run a busy household that also includes two dogs and two cats. I really value my downtime with family, spending time outdoors, walking, mountain biking with the kids, and enjoying football. Sundays, especially, are all about football, where you’ll often find me on the sidelines cheering on my son.
Hello, I’m Michelle, and I have been providing compassionate, attentive care to my clients since 2019 after completing an intense Access to Higher Education Diploma for Healthcare Professionals. Building trusting relationships is at the heart of everything I do, and I take great pride in offering a warm, supportive approach while helping to enhance the well-being of those I care for.
I’ve been fortunate to grow with the Flexicare team over the years, starting as a Care Assistant, progressing to Community Team Leader, and now working as one of the Care Coordinators. It’s been a rewarding journey, and one that reflects my passion for delivering high-quality care.
In my current role, I support the smooth running of the service through care coordination, rota management, and assisting with HR functions. I enjoy being able to support both our clients and our team, and I always aim to approach my work with care, attention to detail, and understanding.
I’m proud to be part of a team that truly values both its clients and its staff.
Hi! I’m Eleanor. I’m originally from Leeds and have recently returned to the UK after a few years living in Australia. I love to travel and am always dreaming about my next adventure.
Professionally, I’ve built my career supporting people with complex mental health needs, alongside experience in disability and aged care. I’ve also worked in residential childcare, which really shaped my approach to person-centred support and working with a wide range of individual needs. Earlier in my career, I worked in sales, which helped me develop strong communication skills and a real passion for building meaningful relationships.
I hold a degree in Counselling and Mental Health, as well as a Level 5 qualification in Management, Coaching and Mentoring. Most recently, I worked as a Service Coordinator in Australia, leading service delivery for 60 clients with disabilities, substance misuse challenges, and complex mental health needs.
I was really drawn to Flexicare at Home not only because of its ethos—it genuinely feels like a diamond in the social care world—but also because of the varied nature of the role. I work alongside the other Care Coordinators, taking turns to support care management, HR, and rota management. Gaining experience across all three areas allows me to fully appreciate everything that goes into providing a high-quality, premium service.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at a yoga class, listening to music, or making plans with friends. I’m naturally outgoing, love meeting new people, and always enjoy a good laugh.
Hello, I am Gemma and have been with Flexicare at Home since 2012. I feel very proud to be part of such a supportive team. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to receive lovely feedback from both clients and their families, often mentioning how my positive, sunny personality helps brighten their day.
I genuinely love working at Flexicare at Home, where I feel valued and supported, with a great work-life balance and pay that keeps pace with the real cost of living. I usually work the early shift, but I’m always happy to help cover late shifts when colleagues are on holiday, so our clients continue to see familiar faces they know and trust.
Being a team player is really important to me, and I enjoy working alongside such a dedicated and caring group of people.
Hello, I am Lisa.
Those who know me will know I have a great sense of humour, along with a compassionate and caring nature. I take pride in doing things properly and always aim to deliver the best possible care.
I’m a strong team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and helping to ensure continuity of care for our clients. I am very supportive of our community carers, management, clients and their families, and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my role.
I’m also known for being flexible with my rota, working both early and late shifts, and I’m always happy to step in to help cover when needed.
No matter what’s going on in life, I try to bring a smile to my work and support those around me.
Hello, I am Sally and have been with Flexicare at Home since 2014. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to receive such lovely feedback from my clients and their families, often mentioning my ability to bring joy into their daily lives.
I like to think I bring a positive energy to my work—I’m rarely without a smile, and I’m known for having a bit of an infectious laugh! I truly enjoy building strong relationships, and I feel very grateful to be so well supported by both my clients and colleagues.
Being part of the care profession is something I take great pride in, and I feel lucky to do a job that means so much to me.
