My cousin has had support from Pleasant Home Healthcare for a number of years since her brother and main carer died.
The carers have always been kind and caring.
They support my cousin with meals, personal care, and food shopping. They keep an eye on her health and have been known to respond over the phone when she suffers one of her panic attacks. The carers are always cheery and though she doesn't always follow their suggestions, she appreciates the care behind the nags.
Management has been on board and has even recently sorted and helped my cousin apply for and fill in forms for the carer allowance.

Overall Experience

Mum has had support from Pleasant Homes for a number of years and the carers are always so kind and helpful. They support with meals, personal care, companionship and much more. They are always willing to help with a smile and a laugh which Mum appreciates. The carers have helped prevent hospitalisation in the past by spotting a health need which has been able to be resolved due to their vigilance. Management is very approachable and is often in contact to see how Mum is doing or to update me on how she is. This is very much appreciated. Thank you.

My mother's experience with Pleasant Home Healthcare was very good. They helped look after her for a number of years, allowing her to remain at home as long as possible during her slow decline suffering from dementia before she had to go into a nursing home. Importantly there was continuity within the team of carers supporting my mother and they developed a very good relationship with her, demonstrating genuine affection. Communication with management was very good, always responding positively to the changes required as my mother's illness progressed. I have no hesitation in recommending Pleasant Home Healthcare.

Overall Experience

Me and my friend's family were struggling to find a care provider urgently, as his care needs increased. Most of the providers we contacted were not able to meet his care needs urgently and were expensive. Pleasant Home Healthcare helped us at the right time, efficiently arranging care and were not expensive else my friend would have had to go to a care home which he did not wish to. We are well supported by Pleasant now. Carers take good care of my friend's meals, are very friendly and caring. He is happy his independence is maintained and dignity protected in his own home. Management are friendly and highly responsive. The service is outstanding. We are very satisfied and grateful.

My mother-in-law has been cared for by pleasant home care for the past 7 years, and her care has been nothing short of excellent. I would say that both the staff and management are exemplary going above and beyond expectations in making sure my mother is looked after and her every need is met. The staff are always on hand to assist in any emergency that may arise, going that extra mile. My mother has made friends with the carers and management they have even visited her in hospital on several occasions.

I would highly recommend this company and its caring and compassionate staff to anyone who is considering a care package for their family.

Overall Experience

Pleasant Home Healthcare has provided excellent and friendly care for my cousin for over 6 years now. We are very pleased with the high standard of care and friendliness of the staff that see to her needs on a daily basis. The managers have always been understanding and helpful, which is especially useful as we live quite a distance away, and helps to ease our mind considerably, they haven't hesitated to contact us when there is a problem. The carers make sure she eats and drinks well and are very careful to ensure she takes her medication, and they all go overboard to make sure she is comfortable and content. What is more important to us is that she feels supported and that she enjoys the interaction with all her regular carers, which is an absolute necessity as she lives by herself. Most of them also encourage her to do as much as she can for herself, including walking more. I would definitely recommend the company to others that require homecare assistance.

My father-in-law is receiving care from Pleasant Home Healthcare for nearly two years. We are very pleased to have this service. The management and carers are very friendly and helpful, showing care and compassion. They take care of his personal dignity, hygiene and food etc. Dad is always happy to see the carers helping him.

I am very happy with the carers who come every morning. I look forward to seeing them all which brightens my day. I am housebound after two falls last year so their assistance is precious to me.

The high standard of care given to our mother is very comforting for the family, as we live quite a long way from her and rely on the carers. My mother seems very happy with her carers and has a good relationship with them. Interaction is very important to her as she is unable to go out alone. We are very pleased with the compassionate, dignified and respectful way our mother is treated.

My mum was feeling lonely and confused and showing early signs of dementia. We got in touch with Pleasant Home Healthcare for companionship, safety and health reasons. To also ensure she takes her medication and health and hygiene is supervised and assisted when needed. She has her good and bad days. Carers are so empathetic, friendly, kind and patient with Mum. They go with the flow, promoting her independence carefully. She finds them very pleasant and has a good laugh with them. The management is very proactive, understanding and promptly implements any changes being very flexible. We have an excellent trusting bond with them for delivering high standard, quality care service.

I have been receiving care from Pleasant for two years now and am so glad my daughter and I picked Pleasant. Right from the start assessment and receiving care, they have been excellent and highly professional. I suffer from anxiety and the management has taken extra care and been extra sensitive, ensuring all my healthcare and hygiene needs are efficiently met. The carers are well trained and experienced, always courteous and polite. Management, carers, it all is going well and they take my feedback well, always looking for improvement. As my daughters seriously ill and I suffer with anxiety, I feel relaxed and that I have a very caring and kind and considerate care company, who I can trust and fully rely on for all my care needs. The management does an excellent job recruiting, training and ensuring excellent care delivery.

My stepdad received care from Pleasant Home Healthcare Ltd for nearly two years. We were very pleased with the professional and kind service. Carers were very friendly and helpful, and always on time. They took care of his personal hygiene and food etc. He had many health care problems, which had to be addressed. Also, he was depressed and had less appetite. Carers motivated him to eat and drink always and ensured he was hydrated. Carers and management were very sympathetic towards supporting him always. His pressure sore care was excellent. The management always kept me informed and ensure he received the right medical help and arranged protein supplement drinks for him.

I have been delighted with the service my mum receives from Pleasant Home Healthcare. The care ladies do an excellent job. They ensure she eats and stayed hydrated, and assists with mobility and medication. The management is friendly and cooperative with my mum's needs.

My mum has been receiving care from Pleasant Home Healthcare for over 2 years now. I am very impressed with the dignity and empathy shown by the management and carers. Also, the flexibility of arranging care with varying care needs of my mum in short notice was great. When my mum was unwell, the carers got in touch with the emergency services, waited and reassured Mum until the ambulance arrived. They are always so kind and helpful and go the extra mile. Communication with management has always been excellent. The team's holistic approach to care is excellent and I am grateful for the same.

I have been receiving care from Pleasant for several years now. Sensitivity, empathy and sympathy are a good bond for my carers, the management and I. They provide a high standard of care and are well trained. My care needs have been altered a few times and regardless of short notice, the management have been able to put additional care in place effectively and efficiently. Carers prepare tasty meals for me and they always have a smile. They are kind and have my trust, which is important to everybody concerned. Professional, high standard care.

I was fortunate enough to choose Pleasant Home carers for my mother, who required care eventually four times a day. Initially, I made a random choice which carers to choose, as I had had no experience of this type of service previously. I could not have been happier, they were there for my mother's needs as she deteriorated. It was a comfort to me to know that each day I could trust the carers to look after my mother without worry. I would have no hesitation in recommending them as they genuinely care.

Overall Experience

I have been receiving care from Pleasant since February 2019. It has been a very pleasant experience. I am well looked after. They are a very professional, kind, friendly and helpful team. The care was put in place quickly by the management, which was very helpful. The carers ensure I am well hydrated in summer and they cheer me up. Always the office arrange for nurses to see me when carers observe pressure sores and early visits when I have hospital appointments.

I have been receiving care from Pleasant for nearly a year now. The care provided has been truly life-saving for me. I live on my own, I was down as my brother who lived with me had passed away. I was neglecting myself. I am much healthier and happy now due to the excellent care provided by Pleasant care team.
My nutrition and hydration needs are well met. The management has been highly responsive and responsible by coordinating care over weekend with nurses regarding my pressure sores.
The care provided by carers and monitored by manager along with nurses helped them heal quickly.

Carers are very caring, friendly, simply well trained. They picked up my sign of cancer at early stage and the care provided to escort to medical appointments helped treat cancer.
