Eden Care At Home

My husband and I were in respite care following my stay in hospital and needed some care before being able to return home on our own. Eden Care at Home fitted this bill well with the flexibility they offered. The carers who came were very pleasant willing and helpful. They prepared meals, dealt with clothes washing, bedding and many other jobs. The care Eden Care at Home gave us was exactly what was required and was well pleased.

I required daily care assistance for nearly three months after having major surgery. My need was for mainly domestic work. All the staff that attended me I found to be cheerful, polite and always enthusiastic to carry out the tasks required, often suggesting other tasks also. I live alone and as a bonus found that their pleasant company speeded my recovery excellent service.

The care, kindness and devotion to the work involved was excellent and I would recommend anyone to the care of this agency.

Having suffered a stroke and I am restricted to the ground floor of my home and I move around with the aid of a walking frame. The service provided is to assist in taking a bath (the bathroom is upstairs). The carers ensure a safe ascent of the stairs, supervise entry and exit of bath using 'bathing chair' and assist with bathing. I am then helped to dry and dress. I am then seen safely back to the ground floor. The carer then checks that the bathroom is tidy and that I am happy. They then leave after checking all is ok. The carers are always very friendly and very efficient.

Eden Care At Home provides a wonderful service to cater for people that need home care as well as the elderly. They are an accomplished team who are very flexible to individual needs and also very friendly.

Prompt service - help next day when asked. Staff cheerful and polite. Sympathetic and considerate, never rushed. This was my second time when I needed help. I would certainly have Eden again.

The staff are always kind and professional. They are always in time and very caring and respectful. We have used the services since 2011 and are happy to recommend the care.

Three times to bed, two times to dress. I dress myself two week days and weekends. I like to dress myself in my own time when I am cared for it is all too fast. I had a car accident in 1967. It is almost fifty years now I met my wife by a dating agency called "Handidate", ran by a disabled boy and his Mum. My wife is disabled, 5 brain hemorrhages, including 3 strokes. She does everything. She orders shopping online and cooks it all herself.

Since the care started in 2015 they have been very reliable, helpful and friendly. Both the carers who attend at home and the staff in the office do all they can to help. The carers go that extra mile and nothing is too much trouble. They have become friends with the family which is lovely. They are competent and caring. Their company on a daily basis is much appreciated.

Care has improved with the onset of a regular carer attending most evenings. She is a kind and considerate carer.

My mother-in-law, in her 90's receives a quality care package from Eden Care which she is very happy with. In almost all cases, the timeliness of her care visits are exact which is very commendable. She also appreciates the fact that she is allocated specific carers for the majority of the visits whom she has got to know well.

Generally very high levels of care, dignity and respect particularly from key staff. Main carer is excellent.

Dads carers have really helped his quality of life and my brother and I really appreciate the way they are quick to act and good at communicating to us any issues that arise.

Recently they noticed he was feeling unwell and got the GP to come round who admitted him to hospital that day. I am so grateful that they did this, as I was unable to get through to him on the phone and was worrying, so being called up and told that they had organised all this while I was at work was very reassuring. The condition turned out to be quite serious so we're very grateful that the carers acted quickly.

The carers are really friendly and personable, and my dad really looks forward to their visits. They help out with all kinds of tasks and he really likes that the more regular ones know exactly what to do and what food he generally likes.

Satisfactory care.

The management is on the whole good but messages do not always get through and the invoices are always a bit late and I hate owing money.

We are generally very satisfied with the servicer provided by Eden care. An inevitable problem appears to be continuity of staff (carers). Knowledge of learning disability is limited in some cases.
