Eden Care At Home

I generally have the same support worker every day.

I go to the class for just 1 hour per week. It has not improved my ability to walk independently but gets me out and in touch with others. I shall be 98 in August. No doubt the exercises we do are beneficial.

The staff are good, some are excellent, but all are good. Some take all the time allotted and worry if my husband is having problems which we have had, others try to hurry to catch up. All very nice and have no complaints, some have never been here before and need help in getting going as they have to show them the ropes, all are kind and very willing.

My wife has three visits per day from Eden Care and the standard of care is excellent and we are very happy with Eden Care. Our one frustration is what appears to be a lack of communication within the office.

Eden Care took very good care of Mum, having four visits daily towards the end of her life. She passed away on 16th April 2017.

They were very kind and we cannot fault them.

Provision of care is good. Office staff not good. Communication between office/client is unreliable. Too many different carers attending. No consistency.

Had an introduction with carer to visit my daughter. Went very well. Second meeting carer booked my daughter for a couple of hours. My daughter was looking forward to it and enjoyed it very much. The carer had a very warm manner looking forward to a lovely friendship.

The staff who have come to my home have without exception, been excellent both in terms of attitude and in the amount of care provided.

Management have very nearly met my requirements.

Always smiling and willing to help with small problems.

The care was to help my wife who had MND (motor neurone disease), with personal care and light household duties. Our regular carer was superb. When she was unavailable (rest days or holidays) other carers were provided at the regular times, nearly always someone who we knew, so no time needed for them to learn what was required. Carers were well trained and very professional. When my wife's condition suddenly deteriorated to life threatening the regular carer was present and responded instantly to summon the ambulance and do everything possible to help me.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Eden Care, they have been a great support to our family.

They never rush her and always make sure she is happy when they leave.

The carers are always very friendly and efficient. They always make sure my aunt is happy and settled before leaving.

The service and the carers are at the top of the tree, nothing is too much trouble they keep my wife calm and happy and make her laugh.

We currently use just for cleaning, very satisfactory service, will use for more care when the time comes.
