I wanted to thank everyone for all they are doing to support my mother-in-law. The transformation in her life has been extraordinary and we are blown away at the difference in her mood and outlook in such a short space of time. With just a daily visit she is so much more relaxed, less anxious and so, so happy. The stimulation of having someone to talk to and going for a walk when she can have made her much more focused and able to think for herself. It is truly amazing, and as an aside has also improved our lives! Instead of terrible dark moods, being lonely and confused she now calls to tell us when she's had a good day and to thank us for finding the Bluebird girls (as we call them!). She constantly tells everyone how she has all these new friends that visit and how lovely they all are. Bluebird gets the highest recommendation from us.

My elderly mother was referred as an emergency by her GP when she suddenly became unwell and could not cope safely at home in early January 2021. She was assessed the next day, and given options for support. Bluebird Care staff came a couple of times each day to check that she was OK and help her with essential tasks such as preparing food and washing until she started to feel a bit better. They were tactful, kind and really practical. Of course, she didn't really want to be asking for help and was also anxious about strangers coming in - they helped her feel OK about accepting support and reassured her by doing things like blood pressure and temperature checks while she waited for her hospital appointment to come through. This also reassured me - I live a long way away, couldn't easily visit her myself, and was worried about potentially infecting her with Covid. Really grateful for the mix of kindness and professionalism from Bluebird Care.
