What can I say but a Hugh thank you to Sam and her staff, my uncle is very frail , quite old and stubborn. All the carers are really good with him, Sam and Yukka have especially been brilliant, so very kind very patient and just brilliant in the way they treat Norman. Norman looks at these two as friends and looks forward to seeing them. All the carers have made Norman want to carry on living, he's not so depressed and lonely now. He's in hospital at the moment and all he says to be I want to go home and have his carers back especially Sam and yukka. People don't realise how kindness, friendship from carers can make a massive difference to old frail man but it has. Also it given me time to enjoy my uncle company and not having to worry about him so much. Thank you to you all.

The care team at universal care have provided my mum with exemplary care! They treat her like a best friend and are loving and caring and always listening to what she needs and wants (be it a snack for lunch or an extra cake leaving after dinner). I can honestly say my mum is thriving under the care of the team, she eats well and they have even managed to get her in the shower - we have had struggles with people helping her with her personal hygiene in the past and this is great to see. The house is always left spotless when they leave and they make sure it is always very secure and my mum is happy before they leave. The care team help has meant my mum is now able to stay at home, this was her one wish when we discussed her health issues and she has thrived under the health teams care in doing so.

The evening carer for Mum has been very successful. It means that she has someone to talk to for a short time in the evening. More importantly, it ensures that she has something to eat + drink & also takes her evening medication.

It means that I know that there are 'eyes on' Mum at least 3 times per day (she has a morning carer too + also Meals on Wheels) & that someone will contact me. The office staff have also been helpful too if things go wrong.

Providing care for vulnerable individuals is a very delicate matter. This type of work requires a lot empathy, humanity and patience. Fortunately, the people working at this company, both those in the office and those providing care, have demonstrated that they possess these qualities. I am especially thankful to those who have really made the effort to understand my mother's needs and showed her kindness.

My wife had a fall last May and sadly broke her shoulder. She also has advanced dementia, and we received help from our local React team, as this was quite a worrying time. I realised then that I needed more help, and our council arranged for Universal Care to help us. We have two carers to get my wife up, washed and dressed in the morning and also two carers to get her to bed in the evening. I have been very impressed with their care for her - they have all been very good to her, and I know that it is not always easy when someone has advanced dementia. They have also been very friendly and supportive of me, which I really appreciate. They also supply a carer to give me a 4-hour respite break once a week, and again, they look after my wife very well.

My care has been consistently good for a long time now and I have no complaints. Carers have been arriving as per my rota and are all both friendly and professional. I appreciate having the same few regular carers who provide consistent care whereby we all know each other and what needs to be done.

The carers are usually on time, but should there be a problem and they are running late we are usually advised of this. Carers are always very pleasant and respect the wishes of the client.

Appreciate having a regular carer Monday to Friday and mostly the same person for the weekends.
