We got a first-rate service - The carers are all exceptionally good and kind. They look after the client exceptionally well. They all go the extra mile. If there is any concern about the client they will telephone me immediately and let me know any problems. I strongly recommend this agency.
Dads carer has been excellent, at all times checking in with me, providing feedback and advising if she felt something was not right.
I would be more than happy to recommend this agency for Eldercare.
Thank you
Carers have surpassed our expectations with the kindness and compassion they have shown while caring professionally.
Patient, friendly carers who regularly go above and beyond. My experience with previous care companies has been poor so I'm very grateful for the professionalism and caring attitude of Home Instead. Thank you.
All nice to talk to and very helpful.
I look forward to their coming.
The team were excellent in helping us to get our Mother set up for care, providing extensive help and advice on what they could do. Since starting, we've made many ammendments to the service due Mother's ongoing, changing care needs, but they are always patient and supportive and do their very best to meet them. They are responsive and act quickly, nothing is ever too much trouble. The best measurement of whether a care service is working is if the person receiving it is happy, and we are very pleased to say that Mother loves her care team. All this from a very independent woman who was reluctant to start with. We have no hesitation in recommending them to other famileis who are looking for a similar kind of care.
Home Instead have been with us every step of the way on our journey in supporting my mother. All of the management team have always responded flexibly and with 100% reliability to my mothers changing needs, initially 1 visit per day for companionship, and gradually increasing frequency to 2 or 3 visits per day as her needs for home help and personal care increased. The main carer has built an amazing bond with my mother which has helped keep her mentally stimulated. She and the other carers have done so much to take the load off me and allowed my mother to stay in her own home with dignity.
Each and every one of the team is kind and thoughtful; playing old songs and dancing with them whilst also ensuring they are bathed, dressed and fed.
My parents are very happy.
Well managed providers of care in the home, reliable, good communication. The staff that are working for my mum are fantastic. They've really improved the quality of her life.
Home Instead have been a vital component in allowing my father, who is suffering with Alzheimer's, to realise his wish to live in the comfort of his own home rather than being confined to a nursing home. His team are communicative, helpful and supportive, keeping my brother and I "in the loop" at all times. It's really important to know if dad's having an off day or he's anxious about anything and his small group of carers communicate directly with us so as to minimise any unnecessary worry for him. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Home Instead Egham to anyone.
Our carer is a friend and companion as well as providing practical care. She understands my mother's needs.
Both parents are very happy with the carers that look after them. Friendly, willing and helpful. I have found my dealings with management professional and very helpful.
Good communication - happy to listen - have been providing the service we have asked for. Seem to oblige and comply with our requests. Good follow up from care manager.
The service my parents receive has been thorough and professional. The care manager has been able to give helpful solutions to issues. Very professional service.
My mother was diagnosed with early Alzheimer's just over a year ago. She is nearly 90 and lives on her own. We initially organised companion visits for Mum and have been delighted with her response. She says that she enjoys the visits which is a great relief. We have also been impressed with our caregiver's professional and friendly approach. Additionally, being trained to deal with dementia means that our caregiver knows how and when help is needed and how to help in a sensitive manner.
Mum has been receiving care from Home Instead for nearly 10 years, initially in Wales and then in Berkshire. The care really has been excellent in all cases and has enabled Mum to continue to live in her own home, which she would not have been able to do otherwise. They have all been dedicated to their work, and have genuinely cared about Mums well being and have definitely gone the extra mile! All have been well trained and professional, and have treated Mum with respect as well as cheering her up! The carers have a difficult job as the clients don't always appreciate all that is being done for them, so I have the utmost respect for them. We are very grateful for Home Instead's work and wish the organisation every future success.
Home Instead Senior Care has provided a good reliable service. The companion provided, suit with my husband's personality and she copes well with his Alzheimer's. He looks forward to her weekly visit when they go out for a coffee or a walk or to run an errand.
My friend enjoys the companionship and help she receives daily. Management are quick to report any medical concerns to ensure she is well cared for. It's reassuring to know she is in good hands and that the team is dedicated to the welfare of their client.
The log book is always completed and communication is maintained so all can work together as a team.
I think Home Instead Senior Care provides a very good service. I have peace of mind knowing that my mum is very well cared for. Any issues and concerns are addressed quickly and with sensitivity. The structure of the agency enables staff to perform to a good standard of care. My mum at nearly 92 is able to stay comfortably in her own home due to the standard of care. Thank you to all the carers and staff in the office.
All the staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful.

Meet the Team (7)
Setting up my own business has been part of a truly life-changing period of my life. In 2010 I received the devastating news that I had secondary cancer. Since then life has been a whirlwind of treatment (all successful thank goodness) and making major changes to ensure that I live the life I want to in the future. It may sound strange but the experience I have been through has genuinely changed my life for the better. The people that I have met in the care sector have been amazing and have inspired me to do something worthwhile and meaningful, to dedicate myself to helping others.
I have left behind my job as an executive of a company that took me to America and across Europe for a role which is much more important to me, one where I can use my knowledge and business experience to do what really matters in life, which is ensuring good quality care is available for people when they need it.
My role is to provide leadership and direction to the team to ensure we focus on our values. I spend time developing the team, planning for the future and maintaining our relationships in the Windsor and Chertsey community. If you need good dementia or at-home care for yourself or for a loved one, please contact us to discuss how we can help.
I currently live in Wraysbury (and have done so on and off since 1977) with my 86 year-old mum. I moved back home full time in 2014 after the sudden and unexpected death of my dad – everyone says, “oh, it’s lovely that you look after your mum” but it’s actually the other way round; mum still looks after me – I get a cup of tea at 6.45 am and the offer of porridge if I would like it, plus evening meals and a magic washing basket!
I was a Metropolitan Police Officer for 21 years, followed by 14 years as manager of a Bureau De Change business in Central London and then 6 years as a Security Courier for a Foreign Exchange Wholesaler in Victoria. I am also a qualified Toastmaster (Red Tailcoat) officiating at Weddings, Civic Functions and large events.
So how did I become a CAREGiver? – As a result of the first lockdown in March 2020, all my business opportunities dried up. After spending three months working in the garden and house, I started to look around for a nice part-time job. I saw the advert for Home Instead Windsor and thought, “I can do that!” so I applied. I was successful with my application and joined in June 2020. I absolutely loved meeting my new clients and with the help and encouragement of my fellow CAREGivers and Supervisors, I quickly settled into the role. My part-time job rapidly became full time and I have really enjoyed learning about all aspects of personal care and in particular challenging behaviour and dementia.
Towards the end of November last year, I applied for the role of Area Supervisor, and much to my surprise, I was accepted. I am working hard to learn the necessary skills to support my clients and CAREGivers – being a “Techno-Dinosaur” doesn’t help but you will always see me with a smile on my face.
I am responsible for supporting my wonderful team of Care Professionals to meet the evolving needs of our existing clients' tailored support plans, as well as meeting with new clients and their family members to make sure we are there to reassure them and give peace of mind that we will find a way to meet their needs.
My role is to ensure our lovely clients get the care they need at the time they would like it and all of the communication touch points and administration around it.
I am responsible for overall office organisation. This includes answering all telephone queries, greeting visitors and managing who is where!
I am delighted to have joined the Home Instead team in the role of Finance Assistant. I will be dealing with all client invoicing and Care Pro payroll.
In 2013, I decided I needed a career change. Day in day out my job was always the same, so after careful consideration and discussions with my husband, I left to seek something more rewarding. It didn’t take me long. I saw an advertisement to become a CAREGiver with Home Instead Windsor, applied and never looked back.
My day to day routine is never the same, but every day I smile. Whether it be with my wonderful clients who I visit on a regular basis or one of the girls I work with within the office. I have the best of both worlds.
My clients are special to me and I hope they get as much pleasure with me visiting them, as they give to me. We laugh, we sing, we sometimes cry but every day is rewarding, and I leave with the knowledge that today, I made a difference in someone’s life, albeit a small difference.
Equally, my work in the office making our wonderful CAREGivers compliant is very rewarding. We have mad days and glad days, but we get through them together as a team and we smile.
For me there is no other job, I just wish I had changed careers 30 years ago.
