Most Home Instead CarePros have supported a loved one of their own and all enjoy caring for others. Every non-medical aspect of companionship and care at home or in another supported environment is available. Minimum service time is one hour a visit to 24/7 365 days a year.

My only regret is we didn’t find Home Instead earlier. They have been wonderful from the start. My Aunt is really unwell and we needed extra help with one to one time with her. The interest and importance that is placed on finding the right person and fulfilling our needs was very reassuring. We
needed someone to spend quality time with my Aunt, real conversations, sharing interests, being a friend. We have got all this and more and the impact on my Aunt's week has been a pleasure to see and hear about.

Though reluctantly agreeing to have carers in her home, my elderly mother is delighted at the way in which she is being treated and supported by the staff who visit her twice a day. From the initial contact with Home Instead we have been pleased with the care and positive attitude displayed by the staff
coming in to care for our mother. Given the positive experience she has with the carers, my mother has a greater understanding about how much she benefits from the extra support provided by the carers as well their company and care. She misses them when they leave and is now seriously considering a move to a care home where she will not be alone at any time day or night.
Regardless of what she decides to do next, we are confident that her positive experience with the carers has enabled her to think clearly about the way in which she wants to be supported going forward.
We would not hesitate to recommend the service to anyone who asked.

Just to say excellent caregivers for my Mum.
Nothing is too much trouble.
They keep the house clean and tidy and cook lovely meals for her.
They also spend time chatting to her about her past.
She has Alzheimer's so is quite confused most of the time.
Her short term memory is getting worse but
caregivers are very supportive.

From commencement of the support provided, time was taken to match the care staff to my Aunt's personality and needs. New staff were carefully introduced respecting my Aunt's likes and wants at all times.
The management of the service and support offered was of the highest level ensuring my Aunt was
treated with great dignity and respect at all times especially as she approached the end of her life.
My Aunt and the family felt fully supported by the carers and management.
I would not hesitate in recommending this excellent care company to anyone.

I cannot praise Home Instead enough, from the very first moment I made enquiries, the people involved could not have been more helpful, caring and kind.
The carer they suggested for my father was perfect and dad built a very strong bond with her - in short, she was the perfect choice for caring for
my father.
All the staff I was in contact with at Home Instead were fantastic and were very understanding and empathetic if I have any queries.
A brilliant homecare organisation, I cannot recommend them enough.

Mums greatest wish was to remain in the home she had known for almost half her life. Home Instead (Rotherham) allowed her to achieve this wish with the independence and dignity she had throughout her life.


We began the process for Home Instead to take over the provision of mum's care package from

a company that had left us struggling to cope because of inadequate care. I was immediately impressed by the professionalism, kindness and understanding they showed. Mum was made to feel that she was in control and the support was tailored to her needs. For the first time, I felt that she was in safe hands. They took time to assess mum's needs properly and frequently reviewed her care as inevitably, health and mobility declined. All the staff I dealt with, carers, managers and back office were competent, professional and above all genuinely caring.


At a difficult time, we managed a few smiles and some precious moments at home. Priceless.
I fully recommend Home Instead.

My parents starting using Home Instead 6 months ago as my mum has Dementia and my father needed extra help with her personal needs. The carers came once a day and treated my mum with dignity and respect and made what had become a very difficult situation so much easier.
Not only did they provide the
care she needed they went above and beyond that and made her feel special. They took the time to put a smile on her face each day. They also provided much need support for my father and he looked forward to their visit each day.
Sadly she has now had to go into a care home but we will always be grateful for their help and support as it meant that my parents had an extra 6 months together in their own home. They will be sadly missed but should we need any help in the future for my father we wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I cannot recommend the carers and company highly enough.

Home Instead Senior Care (Rotherham) has been providing care and support to my brother for the last 2.5 years. My brother had a severe stroke at the age of 48. He has been left with very little speech and has difficulty understanding. He is unable to read or write and has epilepsy. Home Instead Senior
Care (Rotherham) has been invaluable in providing support, care, and understanding, not only to my brother but to our family. They provide a service that we have trust and confidence in. They provide a settled team that provide continuity that gives my brother the one to one relationship he needs. As a family, we feel we can go about our daily lives knowing that they will always be there to assist, and their management staff will give sound advice and expertise when asked for. A fantastic company.

We arranged for companionship and personal care support for our mother who is in late stage dementia. The carer called twice a week for 4 hours and encouraged mum to attend the hairdressers weekly, she took her out on trips locally. To coffee shops, garden centres, anywhere we thought mum might like
to go. In later stages the carer was the only person who mum would let wash her and change her clothes. The carer was very kind ans supported our family as well as our mum. We provided an activity box and mum did jigsaws, colouring, baking and craft work. We can't thank the carer enough.
