Fabulous to work with, setting up was simple and straight forward. Incredibly flexible and needs of client focussed. Nothing is too much trouble, and the team are compassionate and understanding. Caregivers are a lovely group and have my parents best wishes at heart. Thank you.
Statistics state that dementia improves with conversation, and since switching to Home Instead this has definitely been the case. The transformation in my father and his home is tremendous. Thank you to all the caregivers for actually caring, and to the administration team for spot-on communication. Looking forward to another year.
The whole team have been incredibly helpful in their approach and care for my mum. Having recently moved mum to live with us and we were worried about the disruption to mum and know she would cope with her dementia. The carers have been wonderful. Mum is really happy and settled. The transition has been seamless. Thanks to all the team from Huntingdon we are sure we have done the right thing for my mum's future.
Home Instead was firstly used as a sitting service for my father-in-law whilst my mother-in-law was at dialysis three times per week, due to his suffering from dementia, whilst the rest of their care was social care. It was difficult not to compare the services. Home Instead is a 'Port in a storm' offering stability, always arriving on time, communicating at all levels from the manager to carer. My in-laws are treated as parents and grandparents moving the total care to Home Instead is the best thing. Peace of mind now reigns.
Started with this company end of May as very dissatisfied with previous carers. Have found all the carers to be very proactive and professional and Dad is now receiving the care he should be getting. Also, all the office staff are very efficient and helpful.
I recently changed care providers to this agency and it was simply the best move ever for my fathers care. He is washed, laundered, cleaned, showered and cared for by proper carers who know in-depth about care for the elderly and for those with difficulties. I would recommend them above any other I've experienced so far and do not have a negative word for the carers or the backup team. Very well done all.
My mum has had a new lease of life since we engaged the carers from Home Instead. She is 91 years old this year but still lives independently, but was struggling in the morning. The carers just come in first thing to help her get up and ready for the day. She has nothing but praise for all of them and their care and attention has made a huge difference to her. She would highly recommend Home Instead to anyone thinking of having care in the home.
This was all excellent. The interviewer was very good with my mother and with me!
The care staff allocated to help were amazing, always smiling and mum looked forward to their visits. They were all good motivators but above all - caring. The office staff were always very willing to help, answered calls quickly and nothing was too much trouble.
Would definitely recommend this company - Their care took a huge pressure off me as well as making mum feel more contented.
In something over 2 years, the 5-6 employees of Home Instead Senior Care (Huntingdon) who have visited us all were obviously well experienced and trained. All had pleasant personalities and were willing and helpful in all ways. They were also punctual and reliable.
My mother had been supported at home by Home Instead for just over a year. My wife and I have always been impressed by her care and the empathy/compassion of her carers. I have on occasions sought detailed advice related to specific direction and contacts. I confirm information provided was both clear and helpful in respect of regulations. We welcomed the regular contact with staff and their accessibility.
over many months - he has had the most brilliant care.
Home Instead provide a home carer for my father who has mid-stage Alzheimer's. The carer is very competent and caring towards my father. She visits my father once every week for approximately 5 hours. Home Instead's office is very efficient about re-arranging or cancellation of visits.
