Blue Sapphire Care is a small local company that understands the need for continuity of care. They currently have capacity to offer new packages of care.

Originally set up by three local ladies with many years experience in the home care industry, Blue Sapphire Care is now owned solely by one of the original partners.

They believe that peoples' needs are best served if the company and the people in it are focused on the delivery of good quality care by staff who believe that it is their vocation to do so. The service user is always the number one priority.

They will remain local and do not intend to grow to a size where people become just another service user.

Their intention is to maintain a quality of service to be proud of.

Blue Sapphire Care offers services including:

- Assistance with medication
- Escort on trips (pre-arranged transport only)
- Companionship

Blue Sapphire Care believes that continuity, understanding, communication and reliability are very important factors to a successful partnership between the service user and the care provider.

Call times are pre-arranged and agreed and the team pride themselves on visits being punctual, with 15 minutes either side for travel considerations

All carers are smartly dressed in their uniform at all times to offer reassurance to clients.

The office is open between 7:00am and 4:00pm for general enquiries.

Contact for emergency situations can be made to the on call support manager up until 10.30pm.

The carers are trained to exacting standards. They go about their work showing an extremely professional attitude. They are also, cheerful and friendly with a pleasing amount of knowledge about all aspects of home care.
We certainly never expected to be as happy as we are with a care provider and we
cannot imagine life without them.

Blue Sapphire has been caring for my father for nearly two years and has become more like friends of the family than an agency.
Carers are polite, professional and my dad is looked after extremely well. They always take the time to chat with my mum even though she is not the client.

I waited a month to get these carers as they had been recommended as local ladies in Leighton Buzzard. They planned Mum's care to our needs and were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and mum was looked after four times a day at the times we specified. They treated mum with respect, made her laugh,
encouraged her to eat, kept her clean and kept me informed. I didn't need to worry at all as I knew that she was being looked after humanely. All the ladies were brilliant. When Mum took a turn for the worse and needed hospital admission, they kept her place open. Unfortunately, she didn't pull through but, even then they were there concerned and attended the funeral. I would highly recommend these ladies. They are not your average carers. It's not just a job or just a person to them. They care for people with utter respect and attention to detail.

Blue Sapphire cared for my Mum for nearly three years as her dementia symptoms progressed. They were simply wonderful. All the carers showed the same kind patience and truly cared about Mum’s well being. They undertook personal care jobs that, frankly, I could never have dealt with. Because of their
care and dedication, Mum was able to remain in her own home for much longer than she would otherwise have been able. On occasion, they went above and beyond their brief, attending ad-hoc when there was an emergency and calling in district nurses and other help when needed. They always kept me informed of their concerns and actions. I can’t commend them highly enough, more importantly, Mum liked and trusted them.

The care given by every carer was exemplary, she was cared for from February until April 2019 when she suddenly deteriorated and died. Carers cared in the same way throughout even when she did not appear to be conscious anymore. My mother loved the carers and looked forward to them coming and she could
'have a laugh with them' she said. I could go to work knowing they would be there on time and complete the care that was required for as long as it took and she would always be treated with dignity. I also knew that if there were any problems I would be the first to know. Towards the end, Mum was very poorly and the care and compassion they showed her and us was truly amazing.

After a couple of false starts with trying to find decent care for Mum, we heard of Blue Sapphire. After making contact we were able to have her care provided by them. Within a couple of days of their care starting Mum completely changed. She started eating, she engaged with people and began to show
some of her old self. It is of immense solace to the family that we know she was receiving the best care possible for the last few months of her life. The care they offer is outstanding and of a very high quality. They come when they say they are going to come and go over and above the care they are booked to give. The carers are absolutely fantastic, in fact, the whole company from the office staff to the carers are fantastic. I can’t recommend them highly enough. 5 stars does not do them justice.
