Home Counties Carers were efficient, professional and caring throughout our 3-month association with them. My elderly mother had been my dad's full-time carer, and when she herself had a stoke and had to be hospitalised, HCC came and did a speedy assessment of Dad's needs and matched him up with an excellent carer, who arrived shortly thereafter. They have got along very well and this has been a huge relief of pressure for my sister and I. At all stages, communications have been easy and we have all understood what is expected of us. I would have no hesitation in recommending HCC to other people looking for sensitive care for an elderly loved-one.
Thank you so much for your review. I really enjoyed working with you all and I wish your Dad all the best.
For many years now Home County Carers have cared for my mum. For the last four months my mother has been bed bound and the Live In and Home care have been outstanding. Mum has been cared for with compassion, patience, understanding and gentleness which has kept mum comfortable and well cared for. The office team provides professional, helpful advice and are always ready to help. Home County Carers have supported me as well, and I take great comfort and reassurance that Mum is in the best of hands.
Thank you so much for your kind words! It's truly a pleasure working with your mum and yourself. We're always here to support you both in any way we can.
The visit updates on the portal allowed me to understand the care that was being provided, but also allowed me to provide notes whenever needed
I've also really appreciated the back room team who provided advice and support so that we could build up a care plan slowly as mum's needs increased. They have been a great help in making medical appointments and taking mum to them, and arranging visit schedules so that mum could go out and enjoy village social events.
Mum has now has a really wonderful Live In carer, also provided by Home Counties, and it's been a considerable source of comfort to me that even though I don't live locally I know that mum is being really well looked after.
Thank you for kind words and support of Home Counties Carers, it has been a pleasure to support your mum on her ongoing care journey with Home Counties Carers. We all take comfort knowing your mum has remained in her own home, where she wishes to be - now with the support of a Live in Carer. All the best.
Home Counties Carers have provided an excellent service that has enabled my friend to stay happily in her own home for 3 years. The staff, including the office, have always been professional, cheerful and willing to help
Thank you for your kind words and support of HCC. It has been a pleasure working with you all and enabling one to stay living in their own home and maintain their independence for as long as possible.Best wishes.
We are enormously grateful for the excellent care that my mother has received from Home Counties Carers over the last two years or so. The small team got to know Mum well, her likes and dislikes, and communication with them has been excellent throughout. Their care has allowed Mum to remain in her own home as long as possible.
Thank you very much for your kind words about our team and services. It was nothing short of a pleasure supporting your mum to live independently in her own home where she wished to be. All the best.
As a family, we continue to recommend this lovely gem of a care agency.
Thank you for your kind review and ongoing support of HCC. It has been a pleasure working with your family over the years and we look forward to continuing our relationship in the future.
I can't thank them enough for all their help and would highly recommend to others in need.
Thank you very much for your kind words. It's lovely to read that the team have enabled your mum to live happily and safely at home whilst giving you the freedom to spend more meaningful time with your Mum. All the best and have a great Christmas.
I was dreading finding carers for my fiercely independent 93 year old neighbour, who was returning home after a long time in a care home following a fall, and was adamant she 'didn't need a carer'. We called Home Counties and we knew they were the right team for us. From the outset, they have been professional, proactive and responsive. From the 3 x daily care visits to ad hoc additional 'check ins' from the management team, we have felt supported and reassured that our lovely neighbour is in very good hands. She in turn, is happy and safe in her own home, cared for by a very small bespoke team that she knows well and feels very comfortable with. Behind the scenes, the admin and communication side is very efficient. Alongside the weekly care rota, there is even an app for me to monitor, containing a brief summary of each visit and where any concerns are logged by the carers which is so reassuring. I can't recommend this agency highly enough.
Thank you for your kind words, I am really pleased that our 'bespoke' team have been able to help your neighbour return home and live happily, safely and comfortably. All the best.
Home Counties Carers provided home visits for my 94-year-old mother for 2 years after she was discharged from hospital following a fall. She initially required twice-daily visits, but this was increased to 3 visits per day, as her needs changed. I found all of her carers and the management team to be endlessly patient, kind, conscientious and quick to respond to any worries. My mother was extremely reluctant to accept any help whatsoever and I was really impressed that they made such an effort to get to know what worked for her so that she became comfortable with them visiting. It gave my family and I great peace of mind to know that she was so well looked after and I would highly recommend them.
Thank you for your kind words and sentiment. I do find it hard to put a value on the style of care we deliver but having that peace of mind is very definitely something extremely valuable. All the best.
We have found that our carer is always efficient, imaginative and caring in all she does. She works well with other agencies who need to be involved. She is well supported by her supervisor at all times.
Thank you for your kind and warm testimonial. I am excited to read that your Carer is imaginative, as well as caring, it makes a big difference to people's lives if daily tasks are imaginatively tweaked, varied and improved. All the best Many thanks Matthew
Home Counties Carers have been providing support for my mother three times a day since January 2024 and once a day for a couple of months before that. All the carers have been kind, caring and attentive to my mother and she really looks forward to their visits. I have found the office staff to be very responsive, efficient and accommodating which made it possible for my mother to attend my daughter’s wedding among other things. I feel very comforted that she is in such good hands.
I hope the wedding was a wonderful day to remember. Thank you for your kind words, it's wonderful to provide a joined-up care solution that enables your mother to lead a happy life whilst the family have peace of mind. All the best
I would highly recommend them to anyone needing such a service.
Thank you for your kind words, the team were grateful to be able to support you Mum and are sorry for your loss. As you mention the care we provide at Home Counties Carers is very much a team effort supporting both the client and their family members. I'm glad this shone through. All the best. Matt Kalupka
The help and the carer are well-liked, and sort out unexpected problems with health care and minor difficulties in the house. The carer being well qualified.
The personal attention both in the house and from the office has made the changes smooth and much appreciated, particularly as I live several hundred miles away.
Thank you for taking the time to write some kind words about our team, the services we provide and most importantly how we deliver them. We always try to be flexible, quick to react and provide stress-free solutions, which it seems we did with a positive effect. Again thank you for your words and support. Matt Kalupka
My mother was very expertly cared for in her own home by the carers at Home Counties Carers. To start with, carers came once or twice a day to prepare food and over the years this increased to full-time live-in care. The carers were very well supported by the agency in terms of training and record keeping and assessing Mum's needs. It gave us children great peace of mind to know Mum was safe, clean, well-fed, listened to and respected. We could concentrate on doing nice things with Mum knowing that her day-to-day needs were taken care of.
Thank you so much for your amazing testimonial and for allowing us to support your mother for so long. I would welcome you to the Team as our Comms lead if you'd consider it. In the 12 years I have helped steer HCC I rarely produced anything that so perfectly encapsulates what Home Counties...
Home Counties continued their care, but showed their support at an especially difficult time for me. They work always on a very human, as well as a highly professional basis. Their care has meant that I have been able to stay in my own home rather than go into some other form of residential care for the elderly. They have been a real Godsend to me.
Thank you for taking the time and effort to write such kind words. We are proud to consistently deliver a high level of care so that our clients trust us to keep them safe at comfortable at home, it's an honor. All the best Matt Kalupka.
The individual carers were all (including holiday break stand-ins) superb in support; physical, psychological and pastoral. My mother who had Alzheimer's regarded them as friends and was totally comfortable with them. Well looked after and entertained.
The 'back-office' staff provided excellent support and advice to us as a family.
If you need care support for a friend or relative, Home Counties is the place to go.
Thank you for your kind and heartfelt review. It will mean a great deal to the team when they read your words and I know that they will feel so proud to have been able to support your mother. All the best Matthew
The carers themselves, were always efficient and punctual, with a friendly manner. Dad appreciated having regular visits from the same ladies so he had continuity and they knew what worked for him best!
A massive thank you from all of us and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Counties.
Thank you for your kind and honest review. I'd like to think that 1 staff member was me but I know it wasn't. We pride ourselves on being there for our client and their family so it's lovely to hear that we actually are. All the very best and thank you again. Matt Kalupka
Home Counties Carers looked after my husband for several months. I found their service to be invaluable, I could not have managed without them. They were always cheerful, caring and punctual and a pleasure to have in our home which as we need carers four times a day is a big compliment
Thank you for your kind words and compliments. I am pleased to hear that your carers were, cheerful, caring and punctual, it all adds to delivering a really outstanding service. All the very best and thank you again.
The main thing is that my mother was always happy and never scared or worried. Being able to live in her own home meant everything to her. The costs of the support were very reasonable. These are all genuine five-star ratings by me.
Thank you so much for your kind and genuine comments, we enjoyed supporting your mother and the Team will be buoyed by your heartfelt words. All the best.
I would thoroughly recommend Home Counties Carers.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a positive review. I am so pleased that your mother's team of carers soon became a valued team, and they gave you the confidence that your mother was in safe hands. All the very best.

"Care has always been central to my nursing career and I have especially enjoyed working with the elderly. This is an area that is often undervalued and overlooked, something we aim to change through Home Counties Carers. It is important to us that our service is not just one of the duties performed and care given, but one of friendship and support, and our goal is to enable our clients and enrich their lives. Our staff understand that their role is not just about fulfilling the job but also reaching out and being there for those that may not have the family or social network and support they once had."
