For many years now Home County Carers have cared for my mum. For the last four months my mother has been bed bound and the Live In and Home care have been outstanding. Mum has been cared for with compassion, patience, understanding and gentleness which has kept mum comfortable and well cared for. The
office team provides professional, helpful advice and are always ready to help. Home County Carers have supported me as well, and I take great comfort and reassurance that Mum is in the best of hands.

I'm writing this this review now to sincerely thank the Home Care team have provided for my mum over the last 18 months. I, and our family and friends, have been really impressed by the kindness, dedication and compassion of all of mums carers.
The visit updates on the portal allowed me to understand
the care that was being provided, but also allowed me to provide notes whenever needed
I've also really appreciated the back room team who provided advice and support so that we could build up a care plan slowly as mum's needs increased. They have been a great help in making medical appointments and taking mum to them, and arranging visit schedules so that mum could go out and enjoy village social events.
Mum has now has a really wonderful Live In carer, also provided by Home Counties, and it's been a considerable source of comfort to me that even though I don't live locally I know that mum is being really well looked after.

We have been working with Home Counties Carers for many years now and the help they have provided for my mum, and in fact, also for my sisters and I, has been great. As her needs have increased, so they have been accommodated for and the continuity of the care has been the best bit. Good carer/client
matches have been consistent and the availability for the office staff to be on the end of a phone or for us to pop into the office to talk anything over as needed whether planned ahead or more on the spur of the moment, have been much appreciated.
As a family, we continue to recommend this lovely gem of a care agency.

Home Counties Carers provided invaluable care when my Mum was diagnosed with dementia in her early 70s. I found the health system quite overwhelming to navigate but they were there to support me and provide advice. The care managers demonstrated a strong knowledge of dementia care and were skilled in
planning the appropriate support Mum needed. The carers showed genuine compassion and I was deeply impressed by their kindness and patience, especially during the more challenging moments. Mum had several check-ins each day, which gave me peace of mind knowing she was safe, well-fed and comfortable while preserving her dignity. With her daily needs taken care of, I was able to focus on being a daughter again and spend meaningful time with Mum.
I can't thank them enough for all their help and would highly recommend to others in need.

I was dreading finding carers for my fiercely independent 93 year old neighbour, who was returning home after a long time in a care home following a fall, and was adamant she 'didn't need a carer'. We called Home Counties and we knew they were the right team for us. From the outset, they have been professional,
proactive and responsive. From the 3 x daily care visits to ad hoc additional 'check ins' from the management team, we have felt supported and reassured that our lovely neighbour is in very good hands. She in turn, is happy and safe in her own home, cared for by a very small bespoke team that she knows well and feels very comfortable with. Behind the scenes, the admin and communication side is very efficient. Alongside the weekly care rota, there is even an app for me to monitor, containing a brief summary of each visit and where any concerns are logged by the carers which is so reassuring. I can't recommend this agency highly enough.

Home Counties Carers provided home visits for my 94-year-old mother for 2 years after she was discharged from hospital following a fall. She initially required twice-daily visits, but this was increased to 3 visits per day, as her needs changed. I found all of her carers and the management team to be
endlessly patient, kind, conscientious and quick to respond to any worries. My mother was extremely reluctant to accept any help whatsoever and I was really impressed that they made such an effort to get to know what worked for her so that she became comfortable with them visiting. It gave my family and I great peace of mind to know that she was so well looked after and I would highly recommend them.

Home Counties Carers have been providing support for my mother three times a day since January 2024 and once a day for a couple of months before that. All the carers have been kind, caring and attentive to my mother and she really looks forward to their visits. I have found the office staff to be very
responsive, efficient and accommodating which made it possible for my mother to attend my daughter’s wedding among other things. I feel very comforted that she is in such good hands.

Home Counties Carers looked after my mum for a short while as it turned out. Mum enjoyed the visits and I had peace of mind. Access to the carer notes online so promptly was a huge benefit. I felt supported throughout both by the carers and the management. The team enabled Mum to be at home for the
last month of her life as was her wish. They were respectful and maintained my Mum's dignity in often trying circumstances.
I would highly recommend them to anyone needing such a service.

They supplied friendly, helpful help for a weekly visit; almost immediately, with no fuss, increased this to 3 visits. Shortly after, at 4 weeks' notice, over Christmas, they organised a full-time live-in carer and carried out the necessary assessments.
The help and the carer are well-liked, and sort
out unexpected problems with health care and minor difficulties in the house. The carer being well qualified.
The personal attention both in the house and from the office has made the changes smooth and much appreciated, particularly as I live several hundred miles away.

My mother was very expertly cared for in her own home by the carers at Home Counties Carers. To start with, carers came once or twice a day to prepare food and over the years this increased to full-time live-in care. The carers were very well supported by the agency in terms of training and record keeping
and assessing Mum's needs. It gave us children great peace of mind to know Mum was safe, clean, well-fed, listened to and respected. We could concentrate on doing nice things with Mum knowing that her day-to-day needs were taken care of.

Home Counties continued their care, but showed their support at an especially difficult time for me. They work always on a very human, as well as a highly professional basis. Their care has meant that I have been able to stay in my own home rather than go into some other form of residential care for

Home Counties have provided my Mother with 24-hour live-in care for around 4 years up until her death in January 2024. The service provided was outstanding.
The individual carers were all (including holiday break stand-ins) superb in support; physical, psychological and pastoral. My mother who had
Alzheimer's regarded them as friends and was totally comfortable with them. Well looked after and entertained.
The 'back-office' staff provided excellent support and advice to us as a family.
If you need care support for a friend or relative, Home Counties is the place to go.

Home Counties Carers did a fabulous job, looking after my father and enabling him to staying independent in his home as was his wish. We valued having the contact and back up from one staff member in particular who was always on hand to answer queries.
The carers themselves, were always efficient
and punctual, with a friendly manner. Dad appreciated having regular visits from the same ladies so he had continuity and they knew what worked for him best!

My mother had lived in care for about 5 years. We never had any concerns or complaints. The carers were brilliant. The support from line managers and their head office was great. It did not feel as if the live-in carers were just left on their own. I often rang the coordinators and they always took
my questions or worries seriously. A very caring organisation from the owners to the office staff.
The main thing is that my mother was always happy and never scared or worried. Being able to live in her own home meant everything to her. The costs of the support were very reasonable. These are all genuine five-star ratings by me.

Home Counties Carers visited my mother, who is living with dementia, twice daily for a little over a year, to give medication and to check all was well. My mother had a few reservations about the need for a carer early on, but she soon adjusted to the visits and then came to value them as she got to
know the carers well. I cannot thank the team enough for the kindness and respect they showed her and for their professionalism and reliability. It was such an enormous relief and support for me to know they were keeping an eye on her and would report back with any concerns.

My mother has had a live-in carer for about seven months. During that time, we've seen them develop an excellent relationship. Her carer is always interested to know more details about my mother, whether it be food likes and dislikes, music, or arts and crafts activities, in order to improve her quality
of life.
Since her arrival, the carer has done a superb job of getting the house organised, and helping my mother with her personal care and medication.
I would also highlight the expertise and professionalism of Home Counties Carers, from matching carers and their supervision to handling the day-to-day administrative tasks whilst keeping the family informed.
