My carer is very caring and reliable. She helps me in many ways.
If you're looking for home care for an elderly person then look no further. The integrity and care displayed and given by the owners and all their staff has been above and beyond expectation. I have trust and faith in the owners' and staff's competence and confidence that my mother's care and needs are more than met.
Inchwater Home Care has provided excellent care for my parents. Dad's care plan has been delivered with the utmost thoughtfulness, courtesy and kindness. I have been impressed with the patience of the staff and with the way they have worked to keep Dad as independent as possible. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone needing home care.
My dad's are simply the best. Their care for dad and also for mum in the process has been outstanding and way beyond the call of duty at times. I hope they are still around when I need them! Thank you all xx
My husband has MND and needs physical care; he is also very determined. His carers respect his independence while ensuring that he comes to no harm. He also looks forward to their visits, and peals of laughter are a sure sign that all is well. For my part, I know the visits will happen when they are scheduled, so I can plan my day around them. We are so glad that Inchwater were recommended to us.
Inchwater have provided me with an excellent caring service for the past twelve months for which I am truly grateful. The management are always helpful and polite, the person who attends is a delight.
I have just returned home from a very successful 9 day stay with my Dad who has some severe healthcare needs. Mum, his main carer was having a well deserved and much needed holiday with my sister. I offered to come and take her place cooking, cleaning and keeping Dad company through the day. However, unlike in the past when I have done this, I no longer felt I could do all Dad’s personal care too as his condition had significantly changed. We arranged for Inchwater Home Care – his usual personal care provider to not only come for the morning routine as usual, but also to come in the evenings too and assist Dad in getting into bed. Because of this arrangement Dad and I had a very happy and restful week too. I was able to stay on top of all the tasks and jobs I needed to do – preparing meals, administering medications and doing some household jobs for Mum in her absence, as well as spend quality time with Dad. The service provided by Inchwater Home Care couldn’t have been better. They came as arranged each day at the time arranged and always the expected carer. They were able to provide a continuation of usual routine for Dad, despite the change of Mum being away and this reduced his anxiety enormously. I have very high standards and cannot fault their care. They really care for Dad as they might for their own relative. The alternative for us would have been to have made use of a residential care home which, whilst it may have been an excellent provider of care, Dad would have been miserable being away from his familiar surroundings and Mum wouldn’t have been able to relax and enjoy herself knowing he was unhappy. The carers always had time to stop and talk about concerns I had and help problem solve any issues that arose. I felt very supported in the responsibility of my role with Inchwater Home Care working so closely with me and I won’t hesitate to repeat the exercise.
