Overall Experience

To date we have had three carers. First one very poor in all aspects. The other two carers excellent, one in particular very good at dealing with the client. We do realise it is a very difficult job and can be stressful.

My one complaint is that new carers do not seem to have been given enough information about the client - ie. lunches in fridge, dinners in freezer, client has been without a hot meal because of this. Client happy with his care, he willingly accepts all that is dome for him.

He wasn't happy when a new carer said she wasn't able to shave him when he needed it!

My father was sent home for end of life care. I was worried at first about a stranger looking after him. Within a few days my worries were gone. My dads carer is wonderful at his job. He genuinely cares and does all he can for him.
I am sure he has done more than he should but always put my dads needs first. There have been nights when he has gone without sleep so he can keep a close eye on dad.

I leave dad knowing he is in the best hands possible and I trust his carer to look after my dad. He is first class at his job and a wonderful man.
