I've been a client with YPS for over 5 years and in that time I've never had anything but positive things to say about the company as a whole. Every single person that I've worked closely with has only enhanced the quality of my life and wellbeing. The office team are outstanding and work so hard to make sure everything in place and runs senselessly. Deborah is one of the kindest and most understanding people to work with in the industry. For the last year and half I've been working 1 to 1 with Sam and I couldn't have asked for a better situation. She supports me in every way possible and we have a great friendship as well as the working relationship. I will stick with YPS as long as they will have me! I couldn't recommend more.

We are very grateful for the help we get from York Personal Support. They are friendly, reliable and professional. Our support worker is invaluable to the running of our family home- she assists with washing, changing the beds, cleaning and any other jobs in the home I can't manage on my own.

I've been YPS for over two years now and they're a god send for me. I have a lot of issues that the ladies at YPS don't make me feel inhuman or different for having. One of my main likes is that if I have a big of a panic and need to talk to someone, they're always a quick call away. My brother is also autistic and is a client of YPS, he's come on leeps and bounds.

As always we are extremely happy with the support we have from my husband's assistant from York Personal Support. YPS have a team who is excellent at finding the right people for their clients. We only wish we could have more hours.

My daughter has a PA from this company once a week. The PA is lovely and I feel happy and confident letting my daughter go out with her. She is kind and gentle and very patient and it is lovely that my daughter has someone else to take her out.

At Personal Support the team - especially management - are very efficient and very approachable. Personal assistants have all been respectful and helpful. From our initial approach to the agency to being assigned a PA for our daughters the whole experience has been extremely smooth and efficient at every stage. Our concerns and requirements for our disabled daughters were listened to in detail and the PA assigned to them has excelled in her dealings with them. I would have no hesitation in recommending this agency - our only regret is that we wish we had approached them a year earlier at the start of our daughters post education journey.

I am temporarily housebound following surgery in January and needed some help in the house. I am receiving a weekly visit and my carer has provided excellent professional help with cleaning, shopping and various tasks which I can't manage myself. I am very happy with the service, which is ongoing.

The PA support provided to my mum is wonderful. My mum has a complex neurological condition. The PA has provided support that is highly professional, respectful, and nuanced. We were first referred to PA support 6 years ago and the PA provided transitional support from hospital. After living relatively independently, a relapse and medical complications left her needing more support last year. Miraculously the same PA was able to pick up this support again. Despite my mum's memory issues, she had a good emotional memory about this person and was open to having support again. It has made a real difference to all of us knowing someone regularly can come by and help my mum go out to places or sort things out that she needs. The PA is never patronising and very generous with her interest in my mum's life, interests and knowledge. The office support has also been great, very amenable and flexible to what my mum needs week to week. Highly recommend their service!

From the initial call through to the matching of Dad’s Personal Assistant (PA) the whole experience has been full of caring, knowledge, empathy and professionalism. All have been so wonderful, listening to our thoughts, hopes and providing reassurance as we moved into the next stage of helping Dad in his dementia diagnosis, not forgetting supporting Mum too staying safe and happy in their own home. The willingness of Dad’s assigned PA to do whatever is needed to support, was such an added bonus as is her warm and friendly manner. We feel very much in safe hands.
