The best management team of a Care Company I have dealt with. The Management Team continue to work with clients & their families to address issues as they arise, and have regular client/family meetings. Most of the issues I have experienced are constantly recurring, with new staff or staff who have
little if any care experience or experience of dementia. There are some excellent carers, who continue to go the extra mile, and some not so good who will do the minimum necessary and need more supervision. The Company provides continued training for new and current carers, but I do feel matching of carers to some clients needs, should be reviewed.

Everyone has been so lovely with my mum and its reassuring to know that mum's eating and drinking and being checked on. The app is amazing I can check what's she's eaten etc. Plus the staff make sure she's got her lifeline on..

My father has significant health issues and often receives new medication. The team of carers documents, check and rechecks that the medication is correct and on occasions, brings to my attention any anomalies. When a problem is identified, I am able to contact the team quickly and talk to somebody
about the problem, which is dealt with, or I gain clarity on the matter. I consider this team outstanding because they care for the people they support and respond to changes in circumstances immediately.

The care that my mother in law received was excellent.... staff were all very nice and caring, nothing too much trouble. Office staff always polite.
Would definitely use this care provider again if needed.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the office team who listened to all of my concerns. The initial home visit put my mother's mind and rest about having people in her home. All the carers have been very good and my mum looks forward to seeing them which is great. The daily feedback is
very useful and reassuring knowing that mum is well and ready for the day. Any questions / queries I have had have been dealt with by the office team and Iam very pleased with the service we are receiving.

My mum is very very happy with all the carers, all very friendly and helpful.. I am very happy with the app it means I can check if my mums had a vist and know that she's eaten.. the app is in such depth as to what each carer has don. Which is reassuring.

I cannot thank you enough for the excellent level of care you have provided for my mum since she came out of hospital. My parents only agreed to be cared for by Red Rose since January and they were quite apprehensive at first but now they look forward to the carer's morning and evening visits. The staff are so friendly and whilst doing all the tasks required they still find time to have a good chat with them and I love
the app which I can look at to check what they've had for there meals and if all the tasks have been done and if the carer has any concerns and any problems they don't hesitate to call

After a few issues at the beginning a face to face meeting with ur managers resolved the issues and it is now working well.the only difficulty sometimes when the rota changes at the last minute I may have to alter my meal choice as not everyone is adept at cooking.

Friendly chatty carers who spend time getting to know client.
Punctual, and don't appear to have to 'dash off' to the next client.
Regular issue of weekly rotas, so client and family know who will be coming.

Dad has been with Red Rose Care for the past two months. We are absolutely delighted with the 1st Class treatment that Dad receives on a daily basis. Every carer takes time to chat to Dad, reassure him and treat him with kindness and respect. The office staff are also extremely helpful and nothing is
too much trouble for them or anyone in the entire team!

Overall, happy with Red Rose Care. Sometimes the timing of visits is a bit off and think there is a lack of communication sometimes between what times should be coming and whoever does the rotas.
Sometimes Mum's tablets are given to her in the morning when she hasn’t eaten anything and should be taken
after or with food.
All in all though, happy with care and some lovely staff who take the time to just have a nice chat with them.

I find the carers who visit Dad are respectful and meet his needs. They contact me directly if they have any concerns so they can be resolved as quickly as possible.
Whenever I contact the support team, they are polite and helpful and always take the required action promptly.
The only issue I have
with Red Rose Care is the irregular times of the visits but I do appreciate this is often because of things outside their control, such as staff sickness and emergencies that need to be resolved for other clients.

In terms of visit times, we do try to limit time changes as best as possible but as you say, sometimes this can't be helped. Since contacting Red Rose re care package for my mum I’ve had excellent customer care informative reassuring good advice, good explanation of care given, open answers to questions asked. Helpful on meeting new carers, they are all polite, courteous, well presented, prepared to take time with Mum, competent
in their role. Feel much reassured that we can go out and leave medication for the staff to see to as on-time sensitive medication, highly recommend this company.

The team have been great with Mum. She is clean and well-fed and as happy as she can be. The carers will put the washing on etc. if they have a spare minute and tidy up for her.
We as a family have peace of mind and that is priceless.

The carers at Red Rose are a vast improvement from the previous company we used. They engage with Mum and are very friendly, cheerful and chatty. The management and office staff are very responsive and address any concerns quickly. Highly recommended.

On the whole happy with the care provided, although more attention should be taken to Mum's medication, on occasions the second packet of morning medication had not been given! Mum has dementia and I think that if the carers asked Mum more than once if they could hoover, wash up or put washing in for
instance, stating this is their job, Mum might be inclined to agree.
I do leave notes/requests on the side of medication safe and would be helpful if feedback could be left. The agency fills me with confidence. Thank you.

Find Red Rose to be very professional, giving mum first class care. Also very quick to update visit reports so we know exactly what is going on.
Offer to carry out household tasks for mum and take time to chat to her.

Red Rose have been providing care via CHC route for around 2 months. Most of the carers who come are great, and we have been very happy with care they provide. They all have their own way of working which can confuse my husband, but as he gets to know them all he is getting used to them. They are rarely
late, although the timetable changes frequently, sometimes daily. I understand why and it doesn't normally cause any issues for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others needing care provision.

My mum was discharged last April 2023 so Mum has been in the care of Red Rose for a year now.
The daily care and assistance she receives every day is amazing. The managers have been fantastic in assessing what Mum's needs are and what package would be best for her was put in place. The care sector
was new to me so I had lots of questions they were also great in answering all these too nothing is ever too much trouble. The carers themselves are absolutely fantastic they cannot do enough for Mum and Mum loves their daily visits she looks forward to seeing them. To Mum they are not just carers they have become her friends and they do not just assist Mum with her daily needs but they socialise and interact with her and this we are so grateful for as I am not local so do not get to see my mum each day. The app is also brilliant it keeps me informed daily. Mum has recently had a hospital admission and could not wait to get home she missed her carers. What a team they are. Thank you.
