Sometimes Mum's tablets are given to her in the morning when she hasn’t eaten anything and should be taken after or with food.
All in all though, happy with care and some lovely staff who take the time to just have a nice chat with them.
Thank you for the review. We are pleased to hear that overall, you are happy with your mother's care and we have taken the feedback on board. We work hard to ensure our clients are provided with high-quality and safe care, as well as ensuring effective communication throughout, so will continue to monitor this and work to improve. Thank you again!
Whenever I contact the support team, they are polite and helpful and always take the required action promptly.
The only issue I have with Red Rose Care is the irregular times of the visits but I do appreciate this is often because of things outside their control, such as staff sickness and emergencies that need to be resolved for other clients.
Thank you for your review! Red Rose Care likes the team to be more involved in the client's care, as they are the ones who have the regular direct contact on a daily basis. In terms of visit times, we do try to limit time changes as best as possible but as you say, sometimes this can't be helped. If times do change, we do aim to contact our clients/representatives to let them know in advance.
Since contacting Red Rose re care package for my mum I’ve had excellent customer care informative reassuring good advice, good explanation of care given, open answers to questions asked. Helpful on meeting new carers, they are all polite, courteous, well presented, prepared to take time with Mum, competent in their role. Feel much reassured that we can go out and leave medication for the staff to see to as on-time sensitive medication, highly recommend this company.
Firstly, thank you for this review and we feel this reflects what Red Rose Care is trying to achieve. We understand that it can be difficult accessing information about the care sector, and that's why we want to make sure information is as accessible as possible. That's why we also incorporated and...
We as a family have peace of mind and that is priceless.
Thank you for the lovely review, we really pleased that your mind has been put at ease.
I do leave notes/requests on the side of medication safe and would be helpful if feedback could be left. The agency fills me with confidence. Thank you.
Thank you for your review and feedback. We are pleased to hear that you are happy with the care and that we fill you with confidence. We value the feedback and would like to reassure you that we take medication extremely seriously, with team members receiving effective medication training before...
Offer to carry out household tasks for mum and take time to chat to her.
Thank you for your brilliant review and continued support.
Red Rose have been providing care via CHC route for around 2 months. Most of the carers who come are great, and we have been very happy with care they provide. They all have their own way of working which can confuse my husband, but as he gets to know them all he is getting used to them. They are rarely late, although the timetable changes frequently, sometimes daily. I understand why and it doesn't normally cause any issues for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others needing care provision.
Here at Red Rose Care we endeavour to give all our clients a certain level of consistency and continuity with who attends their visits, which we've found improves the relationship/ cooperation between the client and the team. However, sometimes due to the demands of the business the rotas may need...
The daily care and assistance she receives every day is amazing. The managers have been fantastic in assessing what Mum's needs are and what package would be best for her was put in place. The care sector was new to me so I had lots of questions they were also great in answering all these too nothing is ever too much trouble. The carers themselves are absolutely fantastic they cannot do enough for Mum and Mum loves their daily visits she looks forward to seeing them. To Mum they are not just carers they have become her friends and they do not just assist Mum with her daily needs but they socialise and interact with her and this we are so grateful for as I am not local so do not get to see my mum each day. The app is also brilliant it keeps me informed daily. Mum has recently had a hospital admission and could not wait to get home she missed her carers. What a team they are. Thank you.
A big thank you from all of us at Red Rose Care for this amazing feedback. There is so much more to "care" than meets the eye, and to know that your mum's mental, as well as physical needs are being met by the team is fantastic to hear. Thanks again.
Red Rose Care tend to my needs with compassion, friendliness and humour! Most of them have good conversation with me apart from some of the carers whose first language is not English and can be hard to understand. All told I am very satisfied with the service.
The team are pleased that you have built good relationships with the team in the time we have been supporting you. We are proud to say that we have a very diverse team here at Red Rose Care, and work closely with all the team to continuously improve our team's overall performance and communications skills. Thank you for your review.
My mum has been receiving care from this amazing team for around six months now, and they really can’t do enough for her. She has overnight care and four additional visits during the day. From making a brew, to making sure she’s had her medication, to washing and hoovering up, to just having a nice conversation with my mum and putting a smile on her face leaving her in good spirits, the carers really are wonderful. The app you can use to see what care she has and who she has visited is amazing too. I live a good three hours away from my mum, so when I wake up in the morning I can log in and see exactly what kind of a night my mum had. Thank you, Red Rose, for everything you’re doing and continuing to do for my mum.
Thank you for your review; we are really pleased that despite living further afield, you still feel involved in your mum's care, and we have fed back your lovely comments to the team.
Thank you Red Rose Care for all that you have done and continue to do for us.
You are more than welcome, it's been a privilege to care for your mum.
We were introduced to Red Rose Care following my dad's hospital discharge. Having not used a care service before, I was somewhat apprehensive of what to expect with regard to my dad's care and the family support provided. I really didn't need to feel that way. Red Rose has lovely staff and nothing is too much trouble. I have only needed to telephone the office once and send an email with my dad's care plan requests. Both times the requests have been well received and I've felt put at ease once again. It's lovely to see the interaction between my dad and his carers and the relationship building. I would recommend Red Rose Care.
The team are really happy that your experience with Red Rose Care has been a positive one and that your mind has been put at ease. At Red Rose Care, we strive to make the care sector as accessible as possible, as it can be quite difficult to navigate initially. Thank you for your kind words.
Just very grateful for all the help. I don't know what I would have done without you all.
We are more than happy to be of assistance, thank you so much for your review.
The overall care my mum receives is good. She is treated well, with dignity and respect. She enjoys the carers visiting her and looks forward to her conversations with them. She likes their company and it’s nice to know she’s not on her own. I receive timely contact from her carers if there are any concerns, which is reassuring. Management are easy to get hold of and approachable.
Thank you for your review; it's really good to know that the team has built a good rapport with your mum.
I can not put into words the relief it is to have such brilliant support from all your staff (Mum in her confusion says Red Nose people). It’s a difficult and sad time but the care you all give Mum makes the days brighter. You are all so patient and kind.
The team really appreciate these kind words, and we are glad that the support we have been providing has had a positive impact on your mum and the wider family.
Highly recommend.
Thank you for the lovely feedback, we are happy that the mobile app is working for you and your wider family.
Red Rose took over the care of my father in July of 2023. I was impressed so I wrote a glowing review. Having now experienced their response to client/family concerns and complaints I will amend that view. As part of my bed ridden fathers’ full care package, they agreed to to include my partially sighted invalid mother, limited to food preparation etc. Red Rose cancelled the contract in January 2024. My two 95 year old parents were branded racists as they had referred to some of the male staff as “Indian Men”. I was also rude having put the phone down on them after they had refused to assist my father onto his commode for fear of injury to their staff. During January their staff failed on four separate occasions to administer medication to my father, for which they have sole responsibility. Their staff prepared a sandwich for my Mother using out of date chicken. Management response? it was her responsibility to check dates! Excuses, deflections, denials with zero accountability.
Whilst we are disappointed that you may not have been satisfied with your experience, or with the outcome of your concern/complaint. As a business, we aim to promote and maintain the health, well-being and safety of our clients and staff (both physical and...
We are very pleased with the excellent level of care provided for my brother. The staff are friendly, sympathetic and patient.
Thank you to everyone at Red Rose Care for the amazing care and attention given to my Uncle over the last twelve months. He said they were like little angels. Never let us down, always coming in with a smile and totally focused on his needs.
I am very grateful to the Duty Officer for her professionalism and dedication in performing her role as Duty Officer who attended swiftly and without hesitation ensuring that the carer received the support and guidance she needed, resulting in mum being mobilised and put to bed safely and efficiently.
Red Rose Care has an excellent reputation for their high standard of care, passion and devotion to duty and there is no doubt that the Duty Officer is a shining example of this and is a credit to the Agency.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Red Rose Care - it is with their efficient and reliable support that mum is able to remain in the comfort of her own home.
