I have been extremely happy with every aspect of the care that Ethos has provided to my 96-year-old father this year, and I am grateful for the thoughtfulness and compassion of all their carers. As his needs increased, the Ethos team were always able to find a solution to provide further cover (on one
occasion, they even assisted him on the 100-yards walk to and from his social hub so that he could play bingo)! My father has had many falls this year, and on occasions, two staff members managed to juggle the team so that someone could stay with Dad until an ambulance arrived. The online portal where each carer provides a detailed update of their visit as soon they leave a client also gives instant access to any areas of concern and is a fabulous resource. Relatives are also able to add their comments, which are usually picked up quickly by the team. All staff are pleasant. All in all, a very professional set-up. Thank you, Ethos!

The managers at Ethos Care services have been amazing this year. Mum was very reluctant to have care support, despite her needs. They have been professional, patient, flexible and always willing to find solutions to requests we have made.
The online portal is very helpful in communicating messages
between the care team and family. We are able to keep each other up to date daily with health issues and changes.
The managers will also alert any health needs to the local GP practice if they have a concern.
The care team that visit Mum have also been patient and kind with Mum's changing needs over the months of supporting her.
I appreciate all the team do for Mum and our family.

My elderly mother has been very satisfied and happy with the careers at Ethos, who undertake three daily visits.
I have found Ethos to be well managed and a professional organisation. They have been most proactive in keeping in contact with me and supporting Mums extra needs, such as health appointments
(doctor, dentist, optician).
This has been important for me, as I do not live locally. Ethos has been her care provider for the past 4-years.

Ethos Care has been looking after my nan for some time now, and I would highly recommend them. The carers are great, sympathetic and have been fantastic during the pandemic especially. During a time that has been very worrying for everyone, they ensured the whole family felt safe and comfortable in
their care by following all guidelines, wearing their PPE, and making sure we were aware they have all been vaccinated. We couldn't have coped without them and would recommend them to any family. Thank you!

We engaged the services of Ethos carers in December 2019 after mum had returned home from hospital. From the very first visit to meet my until now the management and carers have shown professionalism, understanding, amazing kindness and quality care often going far and beyond what we expected. In mums
words, everyone is "helpful, kind and understanding". They work with and for us all mum and family.

I used Ethos Care to look after an elderly friend of mine. My friend had to have a bed and commode installed in her front room downstairs as she was unable to go upstairs. The staff visited three times a day to help with washing, dressing, going to the toilet, preparing meals and various other chores.
They fulfilled their tasks with diligence and reliability. A daily timetable was drawn up at the outset which was adhered to throughout but able to be modified if necessary. An email link called a 'Family Portal' meant I could see what was happening after every visit by a carer. I found this to be most useful. In conclusion, I would like to say 'thank you' to the staff who looked after my friend. They were very conscientious but also had patience when necessary.

Very well organised service with online app which keeps you updated with visits and service requirements. Staff are excellent very friendly and helpful and treat my mother with respect and meet her wishes. The admin side is very good keeping me informed of all details pertaining to her care and any
updates or emergency changes.
Would highly recommend this service to anyone in the local area.

Wow! Sadly moving out of the area, as otherwise, we would have been using Ethos for years to come. You hope for professionalism and expertise. That was delivered and I can’t remember a single bad visit, and certainly no issues, throughout my time with Ethos. But what stood out was the empathy and friendliness
of the carers who visited me. A very special group of people, with a reliable office back-up to call on with timing changes, questions etc. Thoroughly recommend.

I arranged a 1-hour daycare package with Ethos for my mother in November 2018, and Ethos has now been providing this service for 6 months. Mum has been struggling increasingly with dementia symptoms and was widowed just after we engaged Ethos. Mum has been very satisfied with Ethos, despite some initial
resistance about needing a care package. I have found Ethos to be a very well managed and professional organisation, and they have been very proactive in staying in touch with me and supporting any extra needs that Mum has from time to time, such as help with getting to health appointments. This has been really important to me, as I am based abroad and I'm able to visit only once a month.

I have been very happy with the care that my relative received throughout. The care plan was thorough, all the carers were on time (if held up, they would phone us) and they were very kind, gentle and efficient. On the days that I was present, and carers didn't need to make a meal etc, then they stayed
for the duration and talked to him. Managers were always available and the person who usually answered the phone was so helpful and friendly. Hospital staff found exactly the same.

My mother was supported at home with twice daily visits by Ethos for many years. I found the service to be both reasonably priced, extremely reliable and a huge help and comfort to know she was in such good hands. I cannot fault the level of care and empathic attitude delivered by the Ethos carers.
Mum regarded several of them as friends. When she needed additional visits during various periods Ethos were responsive and obliging. I would thoroughly recommend anyone looking for a reliable and caring company to support their elderly loved ones in their own home to look no further than Ethos. Mum moved from Ethos to the associated care home in Burton, Christchurch, when should could no longer stay at home and this was an equally positive experience for her.

In my recent experience, the staff that have attended to my mother have been kind and respectful to her. In general, the staff are on time, have been polite and helpful to myself during a difficult period when my father was in hospital. I am particularly grateful for the way that one carer handled the
situation with my father after his fall.
