Everyone from the Caremark team has shown care, compassion, patience and love in abundance to my mother. Everyone who visited my mother went out of their way to make her smile. I would recommend their service to you.
Thank you for the feedback, the whole team work hard to make sure we deliver excellent care with dignity at all times and if we can generate a few "cheery smiles" in the process then that's a good thing in my eyes.
The care that I am receiving can be up and down depending on who provides the care, this can be very difficult for me if they cannot understand what I am saying because I have Cerebral Palsy, also when I have medication and it should be every four or five hours, so when my calls are too close together this means that I cannot have any medication. When I have set times that are agreed with them and they come when they want.
Hi, thank you for the comments and feedback. I will feed this back to the team so they are aware of your concerns raised and make sure we address them as soon as possible.
Caremark looked after my father-in-law for almost five years and the carers became his friends, as well as caring for him. Over the years the faces changed, but always they all were caring, efficient and friendly.
Thank you for your feedback, it's greatly appreciated.
On the assessment visit, we were told that there would be three main carers. Since then we have very rarely had any of them. In fact, there have been 25+ different carers. Breakfast calls mostly between 10.15 and 11 a.m. By this time service user has attempted to wash and make his own breakfast etc Domestic tasks were put in the care plan but they very rarely get done. Thirty-minute calls often only last ten minutes. Worktops were left dirty and pots piled up on the drainer for days. Discovered today that the kitchen bin had fur and mould growing in the bottom and bin liners had just continuously been put in on top of it. This was the day after a two-hour domestic call. Very dissatisfied overall and have made enquiries to move to another care company.
Thank you for the feedback on this review. When we offer packages of care (POC) on the local authority portal we are always clear on the time slots that we have available, the times for care to be delivered would have been accepted by the Social Worker on the customer's behalf prior to commencement...
However, I would criticise the timekeeping because carers are required to attend in the morning between 9 and 9.30 am but regularly arrive after 10.30. Whilst my mother is not being put in any danger, this was the agreed time for the carer to attend to help with breakfast, dress and ensure she has taken her medication.
Thank you for your review and feedback, this helps us improve to ensure we are delivering excellent care, I will review the schedule of call times and understand if something has been changed or amended on the run to ensure consistency in visit times. If you do have an ongoing concern, please...
Would not recommend this company to anyone. They failed to care for my mum in so many areas, putting her life at risk numerous times. They need a lot more trained and caring staff in all areas including the office.
Time keeping not great. General standards are not good. Staff not adhering to care plan. Office staff unhelpful. I wish we would have known beforehand what we were getting into. Much more training is needed in all areas.
Thank you for your feedback. Adult Social care as a whole is currently under immense pressure due to well documented issues, we at Caremark are unfortunately not immune to these pressures. We strive towards ensuring that we deliver excellent care for all of our customers every day. We appreciate...
Carers have been introduced to Mum by senior members of staff. I also have access to the care plans via the homecare app which also allows us to view who is visiting Mum and when.
The senior staff are quick to respond if there are any issues/concerns of which there have been very few. So far Mum, myself and my family are impressed and grateful for the service provided by Caremark. Thank you.
Really appreciate you taking the time to leave this feedback. It's our pleasure to provide that extra support.
My son has only been using Caremark since August when he moved over into adult services. We initially had quite a lot of different staff coming into our home, which was quite difficult at first. We then started to get more regular people in, which made it much easier for staff to get to know us. We access help with showering and personal care, and after having some extra training (which Caremark was happy to do), also, companionship calls. Both he and I benefit greatly from this service. It takes two people to shower him to keep him safe. Staff have shown a good level of moving and handling training and always keep his dignity in mind. They always talk to him directly and have lovely interactions with him. For his companionship calls, he has a small number of staff members with additional training. He enjoys doing different/various activities with them all.
Thank you for your feedback, this is why we do what we do. Really pleased that we are able to fulfil the needs for you and your son, it's a pleasure.
Feel well looked after. My carers are friendly and very nice. I have lots of medical issues and they seem on top of everything. They wash and care for me very well. All in all very happy with the service I receive.
I am very pleased with the care provided. The carers are very good, kind and helpful.
Whilst we're pleased that all aspects of our service have been rated Excellent or Satisfactory, we have work to do to ensure that "Satisfactory" becomes "Excellent also! We will be looking at this immediately to see how we can improve.

Hi, I'm Chloe. I have been with the company since January 2020 and have progressed to my current role of Care Manager in this time. Providing high-quality care to those who need it is close to my heart. It is so important to provide care with dignity and respect and to make customers feel supported whilst living in their own homes. I have worked in the care industry for many years, and I’m very passionate about it. I aim to pass on my passion and knowledge of this profession in the training that I provide to our wider team of Care and Support workers (CSWs) so that I can be sure they are all trained to the highest level. I am also responsible for the management of our team of Field Care Supervisors who support the CSWs working in the community to ensure that our vulnerable customers are supported to remain in their own homes independently for as long as possible by ensuring that initial assessments with new customers provide person-centred care plans which promote independence and freedom of choice to all our customers.
I am a Care Coordinator for Caremark Mansfield & Ashfield, responsible for the permanent allocation, and care workers' schedules.
I have worked in care for 5 years and began my journey in the care sector with Caremark in 2017. Since then I have worked as a senior care worker for another care company where I gained experience with rosters and moved back to where my heart really was with Caremark to ensure that staff have consistency as well as customers, my priority is to ensure all our care workers are providing outstanding care and have the time to do so. We work hard to ensure the clients always have consistency and having had experience in the field as a care and support worker I am relatable with the care assistants as I have worked to a schedule before, and I know the importance of keeping consistency and preferred areas. I am responsible for the management of incident forms deciding what support the customer needs when they are submitted and providing advice to all Care Assistants.
I am very approachable and willing to help in any way I can. The team around me really do care and I find that is really important to me.
Care Coordinator
Field Care Supervisor.
Hi, I'm Ashton the Compliance Administrator at Caremark Mansfield & Ashfield, I joined the company in 2023 to work closely with the office team ensuring that we are compliant with our care records, files and audits. I am currently studying a business administration course level 3 to support me with this role. I chose the care industry because my mum fosters vulnerable children, and this gave me the passion for wanting to join a care company to give something back to my local area. My interests outside of work, are football & golf.
Hey, I'm Amie. I started working with Caremark in late 2022 as a care assistant not being in the care sector before I spent 16 years in the hair and beauty sector, so caring was very new to me but I would never look back. Making a difference in people life’s is amazing and I wouldn’t dream of doing anything else! I joined the office team in October 2023 my role as a coordinator is allocating care calls and ensuring all our care assistants and service users are happy! I'm a very outgoing person and I love to laugh.
Hi, I’m Joanne I have worked for Caremark Mansfield & Ashfield since October 2022. I started my employment as a Care assistant, a job that I thoroughly enjoyed. I found myself thriving in this role due to my caring nature and given the opportunity to meet new people. I had previously worked as a care assistant in the community and in a care home supporting people with brain injuries, after taking a break to undertake a job as an office receptionist and to have my children I knew this was the time to return to a job that I am very passionate about. I applied for the Job of Field Care Supervisor in October 2023. I have been welcomed to the office team with open arms and work as part of an amazing team. My role as Field care supervisor has given me the opportunity to progress in my career and every day is a chance to learn new things which enables me to be a great support to both Carers and service users.
