It was a very difficult time for me to arrange care for my father, his dementia had progressed to a stage where he could no longer remember to take his medication or prepare food, I met with several providers. Robin homecare assured me that they could deliver the standard of care I was looking for and had contingencies in place to insure my father would receive the level of care agreed 100% of the time, they managed to do this and more, and everyone who cared for my father did so with respect and kindness. As my father's condition and needs progressed Robin Homecare were quick to notice a gap and meet dad's changing care needs. My father was able to stay in his own home until the last few weeks of his life. I consider myself very fortunate to have had Robin Homecare provide care for my father, they managed to deliver a level of care that exceeded my expectations. I am truly thankful.
Robin Home Care is an excellent organisation. Its excellence cascades down from its leadership team and runs through all aspects of its operations. It is reflected in its standards, professionalism, staff, understanding and anticipation of care needs, and how sensitively they respond to them. You feel you are in safe hands.
Moreover, in the last three months, Robin Home Care went the extra mile. They supported my mother and me practically, emotionally and with information and advice when NHS and community services, that became involved due to my mother’s deteriorating health, were badly failing. Robin Home Care could not have done more. Thank you.
We have been kept fully informed of any issues and given timely notice of any concerns regarding our mother's physical and mental health. It is reassuring to know she is in such good hands.
My care staff are always kind, supportive and willing to offer me the assistance I require. The timekeeping has been very good and where occasional delays occurred I received a telephone call to advise me of the situation. I am spoken to with respect and consulted with about my wishes. I have felt empowered using this service, as I was encouraged to regain my independence. I would highly recommend them.
I would like to recommend this care company highly for your relative. The manager is charming, empathic, efficient and also responsive. She has made a good match with team members to care for my mother who has been able to live at home for the past 4 years until her physical and mental health deteriorated this summer at the age of 97. I am impressed with how hands-on she was in solving problems and also her willingness to fill in the gaps in care provision herself during times of shortage. She made sure she understood the client's needs and character. I have to mention one other who was my mother's main carer for the past 4 years. Without her, we would not be able to get her to respite care in August. Thank you all!
The management was friendly, proactive and "hands-on" and made sure the care adapted well to Mum's constantly changing needs.
Robin Home Care are an exceptionally good homecare company I would always be happy to recommend.
When it became necessary for my aunt to have care at home, after much research I found Robin Home Care. I met with the manager who was an absolutely delightful person. We discussed the needs for my aunt and a plan was put in place. During the lengthy period of time that the Robin Home Care carers looked after my aunt, I was more than satisfied and extremely impressed. The standard of care my aunt received was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. Not only did the carers undertake every day personal hygiene and make sure she took her medication, they prepared all her meals, cleaned her house, hoovered, did her laundry and even did her shopping. They happily undertook any tasks that needed doing, even without being asked. If anyone is looking for carers for elderly or impaired friends or relatives, then I suggest you use Robin Home Care. All the staff are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. They are the best and I cannot sing their praises highly enough.
The entire experience and ongoing service from Robin Home Care has been exemplary in my view, my mother's and my brother and sister view. The evaluation process was smooth with the manager providing all the detail required, together with resolving very quickly any queries around contract and rates. Both my sister and I spoke several times to the management team and found them to be caring, honest and having the right ethos for the provision of care. My mother was greatly impressed with the manager from the assessment meeting. The two care givers were selected based on fit with my mother's character and needs. They have both been excellent with their time keeping, assistance, care and friendship. The care plan was designed to meet my mother's needs exactly and has been adapted as her needs changed. We always get feedback either from a call or via the app, which holds the care plan and is updated after every visit so we can see daily how Mum's morning has gone. Total peace of mind!
Having never used a care agency before I was very nervous at finding the right care for my elderly mother who had recently had a fall. Right from the first contact Robin Home Care were very professional understanding of my needs and worked out a plan to help my mother. The ladies were really lovely, always on time and made myself and my mother totally at ease with their caring nature and expertise. As my mothers need became more complex the carers altered their care to suit the situation. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing help.
In April 2016 my dear Mother-in-law fell and broke her hip. She needed some extra help and this was supplied by the Robin Home Care team. Initially Mum needed support three times a day for personal care and to enable her to be as independent as possible with food preparation. Overtime, Mum needed a higher level of care and with each change of physical or medical need Robin Home Care responded wonderfully well, with great sensitivity and consideration. Mum had a small team of carers and the manager was always closely involved. Sadly, in Spring 2020 Mum had another fall and was hospitalised with another broken hip. On Mum's discharge, in the middle of a global pandemic, Robin Home Care gave exceptional care which evolved into end of life care. Their skill, care and compassion enabled Mum to be in her own home until the end of her life in June 2020. Throughout the four years Mum was shown great respect and her personal dignity was carefully guarded. We sincerely recommend Robin Home Care.
Robin Home Care has provided our mother with the most outstanding care. Mum suffers from Parkinson’s and her mobility hugely deteriorated at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. She became increasingly vulnerable and so we sought outside carers. Robin Home Care started in October 2020 and the two carers selected by the owner made a significant difference to mum’s wellbeing and ability to remain in her home. The two women shared the morning visits and covered for each other during holidays so that there has been consistency and continuity. Nothing has been too much to ask of them, they always assisted mum, sensitively and carefully. They have been cheerful and knowledgeable about Parkinson’s, which meant mum was being encouraged to use specific strategies to alleviate mobility difficulties. My brothers and I are truly indebted to the carers and owner of Robin Home Care for the excellent support they have given us, but more importantly for caring for mum so very well.
The team from Robin Home Care have been caring for my mother for a few years now. My mother suffers from Alzheimer's, which has deteriorated over the last few months and has resulted in her now moving to a residential care home. I can't recommend Robin Home Care highly enough. There have been numerous issues with my mother's illness over the years, all of which Robin Home Care have taken in their stride and provided a brilliant service for my mother. Nothing is too much trouble for the carers or the team in the office. They are always easy to contact and go out of their way to help, even at very short notice. They are very good at making us aware of any issues or potential issues they have spotted and providing solutions. Their pricing is very good and they come highly recommended by myself and the rest of my family.
Robin Home Care provided carers for my mother, who lives alone with Alzheimer's, from summer 2018 to February 2021 when she deteriorated, and we moved her to a care home. All the carers were professional and sensitive to her needs, and I appreciated being able to log in and read the reports they left each day. (On the one occasion when I felt a carer could have engaged a bit more, they took that on board). The team at the office were always only a phone call away, and happy to talk about her evolving needs with constructive suggestions. They were particularly good whenever there was some minor crisis; when she went missing for an evening or had a minor fall and needed an ambulance.
I'd be happy to recommend them highly to anyone in a similar position to me.
The staff are amazing, building up a caring relationship, making it easier for my father to accept help. They adjusted their care as his needs changed.
We always had the same carer, which was very important for my father as he relaxed more with people he knew/recognised.
They offered support and advice and were always available to talk to if needed. They support the family as well as the client - this was very much appreciated.
I would highly recommend them.
The leadership and staff worked extremely hard to ensure the best care for their clients.
Robin Home Care had been providing care for my wife who passed away in September 2020, aged 61, after a long battle with cancer. The carers brought with them undoubted individual professional skills from their experience in this field but the one thing that consistently stood out was their compassion and kindness towards her. These often unspoken actions in their daily contact meant so much to her and ourselves as a family. They became part of that journey with her and us in the last two years and their humanity deeply touched my wife. We as a family are indebted to them for that. So much would not have been possible without the excellent support from the Management team who recognised the importance of listening to her and acting with sensitivity and ensuring dignity at all times in meeting my wifes needs. Their communication with her and ourselves was faultless. Putting my wife first was always important to them in their planning with her about her care needs.
I was unexpectedly in hospital for three days in September and on discharge set up a care package with Robin. This involved two visits per day reducing to one per day. The carers were very helpful and gave me time to recover much quicker than would have been the case otherwise. The care visits were an enormous help.
Service very good and reliable. Carers are very pleasant and helpful.
Robin Care was excellent from the initial assessment, and throughout the time my mother received care following surgery. Both careers, who came were warm, friendly and diligent, and I knew my mother was in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble, and when my mother wanted to change the hours, they were very accommodating. Thank you for looking after her so well!
Very efficient and caring organisation. Very easy to work with to modify requirements. Provide full feedback.
Robin Home Care provided care for my elderly father; who has dementia and arthritis. Robin Home Care was excellent from the start and took a very thorough briefing from us. The carers they sent were of such a high standard that they won Dad over from the start. Honestly, we could not have asked for more: the carers were thorough, conscientious and made great efforts to gain Dad's trust - they genuinely made a difference to his quality of life.
I also have to praise Robin management. Family circumstances and Dad's needs changed quickly at times, and we asked them on several occasions to step in at very short notice with a revised care package. Management was always on it straight away and made huge efforts to get Dad's revised care plan online immediately - all whilst maintaining the high quality we had become used to at all times. I am so grateful to them, and I can honestly recommend them 100% - they will make excellent efforts for you and your loved one.
