Very efficient carers. Very compassionate, thoughtful and empathetic. My son was treated with the utmost respect during being in your care. Very pleasant and friendly, supportive to both my son and myself. Lovely girls, pleasure to have met them. Their care will never be forgotten, they were brilliant through and through the toughest time of our lives. A great big thank you to you all and also thanks for your sympathy.
Essential Health were the care providers asked to provide care for my mum when she was requiring end-of-life care. Although she was still fairly independent until the day she passed away. All the staff were very respectful of her wishes. They worked very hard, working long hours to enable my mum to see the same faces on a regular basis. She was able to build up a rapport with the staff which I felt was so important, especially at the end of life.
Essential Health is a fantastically well-run agency. If you have any queries or problems they are dealt with quickly and professionally and they are fully supportive. The carers provide an exceptional service, everyone is kind, caring, patient and understanding. I don't know what we would do without them. Knowing that they see my parents on a regular basis is a fantastic relief for the family because we know just how well they are being looked after.
Sincerely,
Wendy.
Not one issue regarding any member of your staff. I, myself, will miss them all, to me they are friends and I will always remember each and every one of them. Thank you so much.
Very efficient, easy to talk to, and solve queries with. The staff (carers) are brilliant. I would recommend to anyone. Have had other companies in but not a patch on Essential Health. Thank you!
Thank you for your review, we are delighted you are happy with our services and the care provided. We will pass this on to the care team.
I would just like to say since Essential Health replaced the last company that I had, which I only had bad experience with, it has been a good and positive decision that I have made, my wife is at ease now and I can relax without looking over my shoulder which I had to do with the previous company. I can now get on leaving the carers to do their job knowing that my wife is in safe hands. Thank you Essential Health.
Thank you for your review, we will pass this on to the care team.
Quick to learn my preferences (eg clothes, laundry, etc). Very friendly and professional and make the daily visits a pleasure and something to look forward to. The time allocated is good, I do not feel rushed and we have nice chats to get to know each other. I have different carers quite often and name badges would help as my memory of faces and names is not very good. I like all my team and wouldn't want them to change.
We value your feedback, we thank you for your comments. We do aim to ensure there are no more than 3 care assistants but unfortunately, we have needed to provide a fourth carer and we are hopeful this will only be a temporary measure. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your kind words.
My dad receives excellent care and we are very happy with your service. It has given us peace of mind to know that he has daily help. Thank you.
Every member of Essential Health treated us with the utmost respect and dignity. They visited four times a day whilst my partner was so poorly. He was made to feel comfortable on each visit. The ladies were genuinely helpful and always talked to my partner to explain what they were doing and why. Incredibly passionate in their work. Thank you.
One of your carers has gone out of her way to sort out the heating needs of her clients. She says she treats them as she would expect her own mum and dad to be treated. I find this really heartwarming. Thank you.
My Dad had skin cancer and needed care for the last few months of his life, the carers that came in were a team of four and it was great to know who was coming and getting to know who was caring for my Dad. They were so friendly, they treated my Dad with respect, dignity and had a chat with him. They were outstanding, as a carer myself I wanted to be there to help and make sure things were being done properly, I didn't need to worry, they did their job with their heart on the sleeve. I would definitely recommend these carers and would let them look after anyone in my family.
As a family, we have felt extremely lucky to have had Essential looking after our late aunt. We had their services for seven months after her discharge from the hospital until her death. The staff were loving, caring, kind and compassionate the whole time. My aunt got on incredibly well with everyone who was sent to her and the staff felt like family especially in the last few weeks. We would recommend their service to everyone. Thank you all at Essential.
Thank you for your kind comments, we will share this with the team. Wishing you all the very best. Essential Health.
Simply brilliant - very good personal care with compassion.
I am very pleased and happy about the excellent care. My carer is so well trained and is a pleasure to look after me the way she does. Carry on the good way you train your staff, with lots of care and good manners. Excellent.
Thank you for your kind words and review.
A very loving and caring company, they are well trained and highly conscientious. It's great to have a team of carers who gel together and can think on their feet, and I know that my wife is in safe hands. This is a team that will always go the extra mile to care and reassure, and keep us informed. We are happy, safe and contented.
Thank you for your review, it is greatly appreciated.
He had to go into hospital a number of times during his care, but he always wanted the same care company to look after him when he went home.
By and large, the carers were always on time, and the same carers looked after him on a daily basis, so he got to know them personally, and it made him very comfortable with them.
Thank you for your kind words, your father was a pleasure to look after, a beautiful gentleman who will be greatly missed.
Found care very good. Mum is treated very well and like the fact that they are the same carers daily. They are very helpful, leaving me a note if any problems and they keep lists for shopping.
Very happy with all staff. Cannot find any fault. Very punctual. Unable to find any fault.
Very reliable, caring and most of all trustworthy which is important. Would be at a loss without your help and support. Thank you for all you do.
The care my mum receives is outstanding. The carers are well presented, polite and very helpful to my mum. The carers ask my mum what is needed, and go out of their way to assist with mum's needs. When ringing the office, the office staff are also very helpful. Overall the company is outstanding.
Thank you for your lovely comments, we will share this review with the team.

Meet the Team (4)
Hi, my name is Bev, I am the registered manager of Essential Health, and it is an honour to be so. I have too many years of experience to mention within the Health and Social care sector, but I would like to say that I am very proud of the united team we are. We all agree that our working ethos is to provide a service of bespoke care with passion, dignity, inclusion and respect.
I enjoy frequenting my caravan in Wales and exploring the stunning surroundings with my Husband. I am partial to a meal out with my friends and having a catch-up. I currently have 3 dogs who I love dearly. They are a mixed bunch consisting of a large Labrador, a medium Springer Spaniel and a miniature dachshund who all keep me on my toes. I enjoy most music; however, my favourite is Motown and Northern Soul. I have one son whom I am very proud of and who appears to be thriving in this world.
In my spare time, I like to read, listen to music, and go to concerts. I also look after three dogs when their owners go away.
Hi, I’m Jason, the Liaison Manager at Essential Health. I spent 8 years working in Care in Stoke on Trent before I had the privilege of joining the management team alongside Bev and Paula. I am passionate about supporting our Team, which means that they can passionately support our clients. I believe we nurture the very best qualities through our whole team, and I am immensely proud to work with all the people I work with.
I love to read in my quiet time, Science Fiction and also History, especially the history of Stoke. I live with my wife, and we enjoy cooking together and planning our holidays. I have 4 grown-up children, a passion for collecting mechanical watches, strong coffee, and bacon & cheese oatcakes. My dream would be to take an around-the-world cruise. The best part of my job is listening to the stories that our amazing clients tell us; it's living history.
Hi, my name is Lucy, and I joined the Essential Health team in October 2024 to pursue my dream of working in content creation. As a Content Creator in the homecare field, my job is to capture and communicate the genuine heart that defines our service. I spend my days gathering stories, creating helpful resources, and creating content that reflects our core values. I get my motivation from the people I work alongside. Witnessing the daily dedication of our entire team is utterly amazing.
Outside of work, I follow my football team home and away with my Dad, and I’m a big lover of music and concerts that I attend with my Mum. I also love my car and driving to explore new places with my best friend. In addition to that, I love to travel and experience new places across the world.
