Alina Homecare Poole is a high-quality provider of home care services covering Bere Regis, Blandford Forum, Broadstone, Charlton Marshall, Colehill, Corfe Mullen, Dorchester, Ferndown, Hamworthy, Lytchett Matravers, Milborne St Andrew, Merley, Pimperne, Poole, Puddletown, Sandbanks, Shapwick, Spetisbury, Upton, Wareham, West Moors, Wimborne & Wool.

The manager and their care team work tirelessly to give truly person-centred care for individuals who wish to remain living at home for as long as possible.

Staff are selected that have a strong sense of compassion and good past care experience. Candidates then go through a rigorous selection process whereby they are DBS and fully reference checked. Extensive training is then provided.

The dignity and respect of individuals is paramount at all times. They can visit on an hourly basis, overnight or you can have a live-in carer.

Funding & Fees

We pride ourselves on providing excellent quality Home Care at competitive prices.
The costs of Home Care will vary depending on the type of care you need, how often you need it, and where you live. We offer everything from short visits to 24 hour Live In Care. If you have more complex needs, you may need two Home Carers per visit, so we can provide a cost for this too.
Live-in Care is generally considered to be a cost effective alternative to living in a care home, whilst still providing a level of independence. Everyone’s needs are different so the costs of Live-in Care can vary depending on the level of care required. Unlike other Home Care options, the costs of our Live-in Care remains the same wherever you live across the South of England.
We adapt our Home Care services to suit your specific requirements. Our Home Care costs include a personalised care plan, ensuring your care suits your needs, wishes and budget.
We want to make arranging Home Care as simple and easy as possible. When you contact your local Team, we’ll work with you to design a customised care plan. Once you choose our service, your care plan is kept under constant review so that it continues to suit you.

Very good service. The carer we have fully understood our needs. The carer chats with my dad and understands the moods that dementia brings, and chats to my dad about things that Dad likes. Our carer is willing to assist Dad with his needs. I have recommended Alina to a friend who now also has carers
for her mother from Alina. Did have a couple of issues in relation to days and times, but hopefully, there are now sorted.

Alina Homecare Poole has been absolutely outstanding in the care of my mother-in-law. From first contact, they have been super professional and caring. My mother-in-law has been in hospital a number of times and they have helped me coordinate her care and rehabilitation when returning home. Outstanding
staff with a true dedication for the needs of elderly clients.

Excellent service from first contact with the office by phone, caring staff visiting my 91-year-old Uncle every morning. He looks forward to their visits, they are extremely professional, and friendly with compassion and respect. I would definitely recommend Alina Homecare.

Wonderful caring staff with brilliant communication with both Mum and myself. I would highly recommend Alina Homecare for looking after your loved one. Always on time for daily visits which is so important, Mum never felt rushed and looked forward to seeing them.

Mum had been getting care once a week for three years from Alina Homecare. She had a stroke and was in hospital for several weeks. I live in Australia and came over for 2 and a half weeks to facilitate her discharge home. All she wanted was to get back home to her cats. One of the members of staff was
my point of contact and she was really lovely. She was very helpful and went out of her way to ensure a live-in carer was available as soon as possible. She went and met Mum and the carer on the day she went home to make sure all went smoothly. She continues to keep me updated with any changes which I really appreciate. Being so far away is very stressful when your loved one is sick. It is reassuring to trust the people looking after Mum are genuinely caring and have her best interests at heart. Mum is so happy to be home and the carer is lovely too.

Have been very impressed by the carers that have come to my elderly neighbour. They are extremely respectful and allow the service user to make the choices that they can. I love the app where we can keep up to date with how the visits are going.

We are delighted with the service provided by Alina Homecare. Their professional and caring approach has been evident in every single contact that any member of the family has had with them. My Dad who's Lewy Body Dementia has become more severe in the last few months needed some extra care to help
him remain living at home and Alina have provided this so well, the transition to having carers in has been smoother than I could have ever imagined and both Dad and his home are in much better shape than they have been for a while. The Carers are wonderful and the Field Care Supervisor has been so approachable and efficient that I have no worries going forward that Alina were the right choice for my Dad's care. The weight that has been lifted from my shoulders and this means that I can get on with learning how to adapt to Dad's worsening condition and do a lot more fun things with him rather than worrying and arguing about household tasks. Many thanks from the whole family.

Alina Homecare were extremely responsive in finding a carer to visit my mother in her home four times a day. This happened in a short number of days. They were very professional in all the administration and the carers looked after my mother with compassion and respect. I would definitely recommend
them.

The carers who attend to my personal needs do so thoroughly, sensitively, meticulously and with empathy, dignity, and respect for me. They overlook nothing but notice everything that is not quite right, that is unsafe that needs a health professional to attend. They do everything with an acute awareness
of safety issues. They do everything with a passion to provide me with the best care possible during every visit. I feel valued, I feel I matter, I feel encouraged to be the best I can even in my situation.

I am very pleased with the service Alina Homecare Poole provide for Mum. The carers are professional and very considerate to Mum's needs, making sure she is comfortable and happy before leaving. They are punctual and happy on arrival, this is important for Mum's routine. If a problem should arise a
quick call to the office and it is swiftly dealt with.

Always cheerful, kind, helpful and considerate. Provide excellent care and are always aware of any medication situations which arise. The company maintains close contact with the district nursing team.
Only down point is that private funders pay 50% more for the same care as state-funded.

Just like to say a massive thank you to Alina Care for all their hard work and dedication in treating my Mother. They are always at the other end of the phone to help and advise, which has never been a problem. They always put your mind at rest and make life so much easier for the family. If there is
a problem they phone and get it sorted the best way possible. This is a very dedicated and professional company looking after my 94-year-old mother, which at times can not be easy. At this point, I can't thank them enough as me and my sister were finding it hard to cope with.

All the carers have been so kind to mum taking the full allocated time and not rushing her. So far in the first weeks with Alina Homecare Poole I have been very impressed with the standard of care and compassion from the carers and office. The communication with the office and via the app is excellent,
being able to check-in and see who’s been in to visit and how mum is doing is reassuring, a breath of fresh air compared to the previous agency.

I am really happy with Alina and all the carers that I see. I am particularly pleased with the continuity of the same careers wherever possible. The carers are kind, caring and helpful and appear to be well trained, making me feel safe and comfortable with them. A number of them will always go the extra
mile, and when I have in the past been unhappy with any carer, I have spoken to the office and been reassured that I would not be having that particular person again. The carers are mostly on time (except for unforeseen circumstances) and usually cheerful, helping me to cheer up if I am a bit low.

Could not speak more highly of them. Alina has been looking after my mum for the past three months. Dispute mums difficulties, she has been treated with the absolute utmost care compassion and respect. The app is a revelation, letting me know how mum is through the day.
Not met or spoken to a single
member of the team that I didn’t feel comfortable speaking to or confident in. Would highly recommend.
