Had a stroke in 2014. When discharged from hospital had re-enablement carers from a different company then place with Trinity Homecare. Trinity are very good indeed - the carers are really kind and helpful. I have two visits per day. I think of them as my family and really look forward to their visits.
Trinity very kindly take me shopping each Tuesday and they also, very kindly, post letter for me. They give me help with anything necessary. I am really reassured to have Trinity Homecare come to me. I rate them 10 out of 10. Thank you Trinity. Trinity very kindly arranged home eye test for me.

We, my son and I, are more than happy with the carers we have, especially my son as he doesn't see many people. It cheers him up for the day to see one of his own gender. He can have a laugh and a joke which is good for him. Very caring person and always kind and considerate.

Engagement with Trinity over a 2 year period has not been without problems; poor communication, lack of regular carers, errors in medication, inconsistent service.
The Mobizio app allowed shared information regarding the recording of carers and tasks. It was evident that some carers were recording
meds as being given when they were not; on one occasion a med was recorded as administered although it had ended months earlier.
We finally emailed the MD and after just 5 days the following were supposedly made:


1. Reviewed our medication policy and procedures
2. Completed additional training of staff
3. Made changes to our scheduled and unscheduled working supervisions of staff to raise standards.
4. Made changes to personnel.


A further med error occurred after receiving this information from the MD. We chose not to complain again as we subsequently terminated our Agreement with the Trinity and have not regretted that decision.
I believe the person in charge has left the Company.

My father has Alzheimer's and is being looked after by two live-in carers who alternate every six weeks. They are both extremely trustworthy and caring and are very intuitive as to my father's needs. I am so grateful for all their support. I would highly recommend the professional and friendly service
received from the Trinity Homecare team.

Trinity provided good care to my nan at a time when it was needed. After battling with multiple care agencies, Trinity were able to provide regular careers who ensured day to day care was carried out. They supported my nan at a time of need, ensured extra calls were put in place during bank holidays
and always managed to find extra space when care needed to be extended and enhanced.


However, towards the end of the journey, when my nan passed away, which was not expected, neither her support worker or the agency themselves called, wrote or sent any condolence to myself or the family. My nan was in hospital for a total of seven weeks, and in those seven weeks, I didn't receive a call or message from anyone at Trinity asking how my nan is doing. This was a difficult time for myself and I found it hard to understand and upsetting that a care agency, who cared for my nan for nearly two years acted this way. The care they provided, I could not fault, however, they really need to improve this aspect of care.

I was very much against any care initially, however, I look forward to my carers coming now. My carer has been very much at the forefront of me having carers. She has always respected my anxiety issues and when a new carer was coming, she always has spoken with me about this which has helped immensely.
Both carers are professional. I am very much at ease with my carers. My wishes are always respected as much as I am respected. Apart from the escorting and housework, although all are professional, I enjoy great conversation and a laugh. The way in which I am looked after has also helped greatly with my confidence. Office staff are always helpful although communication is lacking at times, it has come a long way.

Always punctual, reliable, cheerful and helpful. I cannot speak too highly of my Trinity carers. Since June 2016, I have had an early morning half-hour visit which sets me up for the day. It is amazing how much they do in that time, from bringing me tea to bringing my supper tray which means I have
very little to do for myself.

Barbara

Barbara Baig

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2014

Barbara joined Trinity Homecare in April 2014 as a part-time Visiting Carer. Since then, she has never looked back. Barbara believes that a career in care is one of the most fulfilling and rewarding of jobs and loves working with the team at Trinity.


Before joining Trinity, Barbara worked as a district manager for Surrey County Council supporting a large number of college restaurants. Over the past few years, Trinity Homecare has enabled her to gain professional experience and valuable skills and opened her eyes to other possibilities. Barbara is currently completing the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.


She is delighted to be working with a fantastic team of live-in Care Assistants, clients and their loved ones. She thoroughly enjoys her role in providing tailored care and support to all of Trinity's clients and their families.
