I cannot recommend Alice Chilton highly enough. They cared for my mum for 4 months until she sadly passed away suddenly. The communication from the management team was excellent and they were very supportive. The caregivers were amazing, friendly, helpful, and patient. My mum was always happy to see
them. Mum had Dementia and the team really understood how to care for someone with this devastating illness.

Alice Chilton provide an excellent service. Mum's companion carer is so lovely and caring. She takes Mum out when she feels like going out. She will make a meal for her when required or assist in the home with anything that needs doing. Mum really enjoys spending time with her and this frees up time
for me.

When my father lost his driving license, due to failing eyesight, his world fell apart. I had been recommended Alice Chilton In-Home Care Services by a neighbour so I contacted them. They were able to provide a driver/companion with whom he has formed an excellent relationship. He now requires a little
more help in his home and once again I have turned to Alice Chilton. The company is friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in the welfare of my father and, may I add, the family as a whole.

I have been very pleased with the care Mam received from the carers that visited 3 times a day. They were very caring, patient and understanding. Contact between the carers, office was very good. Nothing was too much trouble.

We have been using Alice Chilton for 3 months now and could not be happier. From the initial phone call (with a senior member of staff), I immediately felt I was in the hands of a caring company. The service and costs were very clearly outlined and I was immediately offered a date when care could commence. My mother and I were then visited (again by a senior member of staff)
and it was clear that her needs and requirements were foremost in sourcing the most suitable members of the team to look after her throughout. I have neem most impressed with the personal and selfless treatment the staff have given and I am wholly thankful to this wonderful team of truly lovely people.

Alice Chilton have provided exemplary care for the past five years, initially for my Mum who has sadly passed, most recently for my Dad. Most of the carers come on a regular basis which helps to get to know them really well and they know our routines. We have used Alice Chilton since May 2018 after my wife returned from hospital having had a brain haemorrhage/stroke. She has poor mobility which has been exacerbated by an eye occlusion which has severely affected her sight in her left eye. All the carers, some, in particular, have been very attentive
and given help to cope with her problems in a kind and understanding way and rather than being just carers, have treated her as a friend showing concern rather than pity. Marvellous for her morale.

Karen has over 20 years of business and management experience within the marketing sector. She held the position of Managing Director, with a seat on the board, of a global marketing and events company for several years and more recently spent time living and working in France.


During her working life, Karen found time to volunteer with a local charity to work at weekends as a Companion which fuelled her ambition to start her own in-home care company. For her, the driving force was the desire to raise standards by employing the best Care workers and to value and reward those workers appropriately for the great work they do.


Karen is passionate about providing care and support that is delivered with respect, kindness and intelligence and by like-minded people who treat others as they would wish to be treated themselves.

Caroline has been with Alice Chilton In-Home Care Since 2014, working initially as part of the care team, promoted in 2016 to Care Supervisor and in June 2023 promoted to Registered Care Manager.
