Service started Monday 17th Feb 2026 Monday went well apart from they said grandma declined PRN however her medication isn't PRN its a needed medication. I should also add that my grandma has Dementia so if asked she will say no why not leave the room and try again, i understand you cant force but theres ways of trying. Second day was a awful arrived at 7.30 when 9.00am was agreed my main concern was they did a tea call at 3.35pm again stated grandma declined medication, when i arrived at 6.10pm my grandma was in a right distressing state so much so it had me in tears, she was in agony due to not having her medication her next call was due between 7 & 8 so i was told but no care pro arrived until after 10.00pm at this point my grandma was drawn to tears, your all probably saying why didn't i give her meds well the reason is we where told we cant touch them once care choice take over, when the staff member finally arrived she wasn't there 5mins it was supposed to be an half hour call.

Overall Experience
Care Choice North West looked after my grandma that was on end of life care, they provide great care and support at a very difficult time. They showed her great respect and dignity and nothing asked was to much.
I don't know what we would have done without everyone.

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that was involved with the care of my grandma.

Overall Experience
Care Choice has been looking after my dad for over a year. My dad's carers have provided him with the help and support he requires and have gone out of their way to ensure his needs are met. His carers have great personalities and they have established a good rapport with my dad whilst maintaining a caring nature where nothing is too much trouble.
It gives me peace of mind to know that he is being taken care of so well.

I just want to convey my heartfelt thanks to my dad's carers for all that you do for him. Thank you so much.

Overall Experience

Care Choice has been coming to care for Mum for the past 13 weeks from day one they have been friendly professional efficient and reliable. Any minor tweaks needed were quickly dealt with and stuck to. Mum is on end-of-life care but has been treated with the utmos dignity and compassion and has come to trust them implicitly as have all of us they are now part of our everyday lives. Nothing is too much trouble any concerns are quickly raised I can not honestly fault them. This situation is extremely difficult but has been made bearable by these carers who always go the extra mile without question. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

The review was conducted in a very professional manner, and very informative, staff informed us of all options and opportunities available to our son, and one negative was some of the questions repeated themselves so the meeting could have been shorter.

Overall Experience

The co-ordinator has helped greatly in organising extra care at very short notice. I could never thank him enough for the empathy and advice given to me when caring for my wife who has Alzheimer's for 7 years. Our usual morning carer is a young lady. In a word outstanding might apply. Nothing was too much trouble and my wife responded to her in a positive manner. This lady is the best carer (by a long way ) that I have had the pleasure of meeting. I would not have coped without them. Thanks for everything.

Overall Experience
Excellent service. Detailed care plan forming person centred care and support. This agency employ caring and compassionate workers, offer a good standard of training and do what they say they will do.
Any issues are quickly resolved.

You can contact the agency any time. Voicemails are responded to in a timely manner. Care co-ordinators and manager step-in to ensure continuity of care. We were very pleased with the support we had with a complex care package for my dad. Also took good care of my mum. Often went beyond their duties to make sure my mum and dad were ok. Very grateful for their support.
