It's a stressful time when you need to find care for an elderly parent, so we were really lucky when we were recommended TLC Home Care Solutions. Carolyn and her team have helped look after my dad over the last year and a half and have been brilliant. They've provided exactly what he's needed when he's needed it and have adapted their approach to his changing needs. For this whole time, he's had the same team of four or five carers who visit him individually twice a day (Carolyn lets dad know each week who will be coming for each visit) and he is really fond of all of them. I can't thank them enough for the amazing job they do.

The care provided by the team at TLC has allowed me to keep my mother in her own home for the last year. The carers who attend are friendly, caring and treat Mum like a friend as well as being very professional. They have always been accommodating to changes and I would highly recommend their services to give yourself piece of mind.

I have been a client with TLC for 3 years. They are a super team of women and so is the manager.

Overall experience good. Staff supportive but need prompting sometimes and respond with good humour. Their range and needs to be attended to must be intense and varied so I am pleased with their help.

My son's support worker is amazing, she helps him within the community accessing public transport, helping him with shopping, eating out etc. She has helped him have the confidence to become more independent, doing more things for himself & asking for help from other people rather than relying on his support worker.

I cannot speak highly enough of TLC. My Mum has been looked after by them for nearly 2 years, with her carer now visiting every weekday. Her carer is truly outstanding: warm and friendly as well as efficient and thorough: they have developed a real bond and friendship, and Mum looks forward to her visit greatly.The Manager and her team are always approachable, happy to chat about Mum's care and flag up any concerns, and it has been straightforward to adapt the care plan and the timing/frequency of the visits as time has gone on. The app is excellent and keeps me up to date. This is a highly professional, friendly and exceptionally well run organisation. I am so grateful to them for all they do for Mum.

Very happy with the care provided. The carer knows my mum well and is very helpful. My mum's ability to remember to care for herself is poor so having someone come in the morning to assist and prompt her is really great

Mum's continuing care from the staff at TLC is outstanding. All staff are caring and accommodating, often going out of their way to fulfil mum's requests. I sing their praises most days. Staff are very rarely late and pack a lot into mum's allocated time.

We have been using TLC for around 2 years now. TLC Home Care Solutions have been absolutely amazing in the way they look after and care for my 87-year-old dad with Alzheimer's Disease. My dad really enjoys his weekly visits. Dad has 3 hours of company and within these hours, he is taken out for lunch. Dad really enjoys going out and about. This is important to us as it's really good stimulation for him. Dad has become really good friends with his carer. On occasions, I've needed TLC to help Dad with appointments or blood tests for Dad. Our requirements have been met with professionalism, care and kindness. I wouldn't hesitate to call upon TLC for anything. We have a ring doorbell. I often see the carer playing jokes on Dad, making him laugh. It's a pleasure to see. Thank you TLC for all you do, myself, Dad and the family are so grateful.

Excellent service, great communication, very caring. Would highly recommend and have peace of mind Mum is receiving the best care and the office is very local so easy to pop in if I have to update anything.

From the very start, when passing their welcoming Blacken High Street office and walking in for an impromptu chat, I felt this would be the TLC our Mum deserved. I was proven right. Their care went way beyond just providing a set number of care visits each day. We had a fabulous relationship with the manager, with excellent communication, suggestions for making things easier, flexible and understanding during changing situations, helpful background experience and always willing to listen and chat things over including Mum’s worsening Dementia. I cannot rate TLC highly enough and thoroughly recommend them; I would certainly have absolutely no hesitation in entrusting some care of a loved one to them in the future. I would like to thank the manager and her superb team for all they have done. I’d certainly encourage anyone in the local area considering care for a loved one, which I know can be a difficult first step, or even seeking more TLC than a present company, to pop in for a chat.
