Rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (March 2020) All About Home Care is a high-quality, independent, community-based home care company serving the Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and Maidstone areas.

They help clients live independently in the comfort of their own homes, with support designed around their needs and wellbeing.

This can include assistance with daily activities such as personal care, medication, meals and domestic tasks. They help clients keep physically and mentally active and socially engaged, with visits timed so as not to be rushed.

They also specialise in supporting people living with dementia, with neurological conditions and at the end of their lives.

Clients are supported by small teams of familiar, carefully selected carers so they can get to know each other as individuals. Carers receive dementia care training designed by the Alzheimer’s Society and social care qualifications through their training partner, Hospice in the Weald.

We have used All About Home Care for over three years now and I thought it was time to write again and tell others what an outstanding care company they are. They look after my father who has Parkinson's. They are professional, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and incredibly empathetic. We are given
a team of people who my parents have got to know and trust. This close-knit team allows my father to feel comfortable and safe which is incredibly important for him. Nothing is too much, they are heaven sent, miracle workers who are unbelievably efficient and always punctual. The office staff are really accommodating and enable this efficient and flexible service, they know us all by name and they care too. They have been lifesavers and allowed my parents the independence to stay in their home. This must surely be the best home care provider on the planet as it is hard to believe that any company could be better. Thank you all, each and everyone of you so much.

My aunt was recommended to All About Homecare over 4 years ago. She lived on her own and was having increasing difficulty doing everyday tasks due to her failing sight. We decided to have just one visit in the mornings to start with. As time went by her lack of sight and mobility meant she required
more personal care so the daily visits were gradually increased to 4 visits a day. She really enjoyed the company of such friendly, capable carers, they became her eyes, so understanding of her difficulties. I would be updated on any concerns and always felt confident in their ability to deal with any situation. Over the last 6 months my aunt and I had tremendous support as her situation got worse. The manager would double up on carers to suit these crisis times and gave me invaluable advice. My aunt's wish was to stay in her home of 60 years for as long as possible, you fulfilled that wish. We can't thank you enough.

We contacted All About Homecare to help mum after seeing the level of care provided to a neighbour of ours. The team were very quickly able to step in and support mum's needs around the house, which we knew would be a stepping stone to more personal levels of care as her condition deteriorated. The
manager and her team were always available to discuss concerns, and to review the care package, to ensure mum's needs were continuously evaluated and met. Having witnessed the rapport between mum and her carer, I can share that the level of professionalism and kindness was of an extremely high standard and were of great comfort to mum as we began the transition from her own home to a care home.
I have already recommended All About Home Care to a number of people.

The wonderful carers from All About Home Care visited my father for a little over two years up until his death in December. Recently widowed, he had relocated from abroad to live alone for the first time in his life. Despite the challenges of dementia, he was determined to live independently and this
was possible with carer visits fitting so well around family days. As a registered nurse myself, I could not fault the exemplary care my father received, always professional and intuitive to his changing needs. He looked forward to the visits, sharing his love of opera and classical music, and enjoying fun trips out. The reports completed with each visit were reassuring and a vital line of communication with family as my father became progressively non-verbal. His last two weeks were made so much easier for him when his 'favourite' carer visited him in hospital. From the whole family, thank you so much for looking after our dear dad with such dignity and kindness. We will always be grateful.

All the carers were professional and caring. All the carers really cared about my parents and went out of their way for them. Communication was very good, I always seemed to know what was happening. The month of November last year was a challenge and not only did they look after my parents but also
cared and supported me, offering very good advice. The care industry is struggling there is a shortage of staff and they work long hours. Home Care seemed to address this as well as they could. They did their best to ensure continuity of care using just a small team to care for my parents. I would definitely recommend them.

For about two years my husband has been receiving daily help to wash and dress. At all times the staff have been respectful and unhurried. The fact that a call is a minimum of one hour means the visit is not rushed and there is usually time for a coffee and a chat. A great help for me!

The carers have been helping my mum for around a year now and are exceptional. Highly professional, friendly, and so caring they cannot be faulted. Mum reports that she always feels comfortable with them helping her wash and dress and having them in the house. Office staff also have been wonderful,
rearranging visits to fit with hospital clinic appointments has been simple and straightforward and communication has been excellent. I feel reassured knowing mum is getting such good care from people she is so happy with; she always looks forward to their visits.

My father has been living with us in a separate annex for the past two years. After the third Covid-19 lockdown, it became clear that we needed extra support in caring for him, as his mobility had decreased drastically and he was finding it hard to feel motivated to get out of bed. His dementia had
advanced too as a result of a lack of stimulation and socialising. I found All About Home Care while doing some online research and was impressed by their glowing reviews and the training all the carers have in looking after patients with dementia. From the moment I got in touch, All About Home Care could not have been more friendly and professional. The Manager came for an assessment visit and put together a care package that suited my father and us. He has three carers on the rota who each visit daily and has established strong levels of trust with them. He enjoys the routine and it gives us comfort to know he is being stimulated in the day when we are both working.

I have nothing but praise for All About Home Care. My mother who suffered with dementia suddenly needed care in January 2020 and I initially had to wait for about six weeks before All About Home Care were able to provide carers. I had been impressed with the care manager from the outset and was prepared
to wait until the appropriate carers were available and in that time I used an alternative care agency. It was a huge disappointment. As soon as All About Home Care took over care I knew who would be attending my mother, when they would be arriving and was able to read a well documented report about what they had done and how my mother was. This was so reassuring. All the carers made a huge effort to develop a rapport with my mother, not always easy in the early days when she didn’t appreciate that she needed help and over the year as her needs changed, her care needs were discussed and altered as necessary. The commitment of the carers meant that my mother was able to stay in her own home up until her passing.

From the very first telephone call, I have been very impressed with this company. They make a great effort when taking on a new client to ensure that they have a full understanding of the client and their likes/needs. The care manager is always very helpful and contactable (sometimes outside of office
hours), she genuinely cares about providing an excellent service. There is always a prompt response to any query and request for additional shopping. The carers are always prompt and reliable and engage with care and kindness to my mother-in-law. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Following a fall and hospital stay, we needed help with my elderly mum who lives with us. We are so glad to have found All About Home Care. The Manager and carers that come to us are so professional and compassionate. The carers that attend daily are totally reliable and proactive in mum's care. Mum
was reluctant to accept outside help from the family but the carers are so understanding and knowledgeable that this transition has been very smooth. As well as personal care, the carers do companionship visits too and I can leave mum knowing she is in the very best hands. A very professional Company to deal with, the staff that attend are fantastic.

My Mum has had carers from All about Home Care for the last 5 years. Over this time we have found all the carers professional, caring, supportive and understanding of my Mum's needs. The only reason we are sadly having to leave this company is because my Mum now needs 24-hour care. The Management Team
have also always been extremely supportive. Whenever we have needed extra care they have always tried to accommodate her. My Mum and I will miss them, not just because they are professional and supportive but they are so kind and all the carers come in with a friendly smile and caring approach even if they have a busy schedule. I would certainly highly recommend All About Home Care.

AAHC has been totally reliable and helpful throughout the time my mother had carers at her home. The individual carers were at all times professional, kind and caring; despite their busy schedules they never rushed the client. They had a great back up from the management, and I was particularly impressed
with the advice and care given to the way in which my mother's care had to be adapted and increased as her needs changed. I have already recommended them.
