I was so relieved, when after much deliberation of trying to find the right care for my Mum I finally enlisted All About Homecare. It was so easy and the carer was a perfect match. My Mum's mood changed after the first visit, she was so happy to have the help she needed and by people who care. My Mum has dementia and as her condition worsened the support I was having to give her had reached an all time high - it is very hard to juggle aging parents and a growing family. All the staff at All About Homecare know this and have been extremely helpful - They know how to take the pressure off so as a family we can concentrate on the time that matters the most. Thank you to the All About Homecare Team - I would highly recommend their care to anyone that needs it.
AAHC have been visiting Dad for over a year. The carers are reliable, punctual and very patient, without their support Dad would not be able to remain in his own home. Dad is very specific about his needs and his carers support him with kindness and understanding. Any concerns the carers have are communicated to us promptly.
From a service user perspective we have complete trust in the carers and the managers.
The carers are obviously well trained and personally recruited so you can be assured that AAHC carers really do care!
Mum is currently having 24/7 live in care from AAHC while we are away and I feel completely confident that she will be properly looked after, as well as providing the laughter and companionship which mum so enjoys.
We're really happy we chose this service.
Lovely staff who look after my mum who has alzheimers.she always loves to see them when they come round and helps give my dad a small break to relax for a few hours rest. They are Friendly and know how to care for clients with certain needs. Its nice to find a company that actually care about your loved ones.
In carry out their task of care all AAH carers carry out their tasks in a friendly and compassionate manner. So much so that we and our close family regard as part of us.
In short, we could not do without them
AAHC have provided excellent care for my father. They are always willing to go the extra mile and very well organised. The carers are very good and seem very passionatr about their role and the company.
We have been using All About Homecare for the last year and are absolutely delighted with the care, support and kindness we receive from every member of staff. My husband has MSA and his needs are complex but nothing is too much trouble. The staff are professional, friendly, kind and proactive keeping me informed of anything I need to take up with our GP. They are a delight to have in our home and I cannot speak highly enough of them. They are always on time and on the rare occasions a staff member is running late, we are always informed. An absolutely first class homecare company with staff of the highest calibre.
All About Homecare stepped in when we needed them most. Mum has been in a deteriorating state with late stage dementia for some time now and we'd tried her in a Care Home. It didn't work and at short notice Rachael and the team were able to supply the necessary cover so Mum could return home with Dad.
The Carers from AAHC couldn't have been more accomodating, they stepped back in to careing for mum and have brought the laughter and joy back, where it had been totally missing in the Care Home.
Getting Mum's happy sole back was so important to us. The AAHC team have a wealth of experience dealing with this terrible condition and not only have they taken our stresses away, they have taken Mum's too. We at least have our happy mum back. Thank you All About Home Care team.
My mother has been using AAHC for several years. One of the first things I appreciated was their willingness to start with just one visit a week - Mum didn't think she needed care ( but she did!) - so we started gradually. Over time this progressed as Mum became more frail and AAHCs flexibility has allowed her to stay in her home, which what she wants. The carers have been superb, very kind, very knowledgeable and willing to suggest things Mum might benefit from and very good at relating to Mum. The office staff have also always been available for advice. My mother now has dementia and this makes home care significantly more challenging but so far they ( and we the family) have been able to make it work - it requires a lot of communication between the agency staff, office staff and the family.. In terms of cost, I think AAHC may be a bit more expensive but the carers are better - typically local people.
AAHC provide morning visits to my 96 year old mother to get her up and ready for the day. All of the carers are very professional and friendly. Their duties include assisting with showering, getting breakfast ready, making sure correct medication is given and general domestic chores as appropriate. If any concerns are noticed they are always brought to my attention and I really couldn't fault the service they provide. The daily visits allow my mother to still live at home and maintain her independence and provide myself and the family comfort in knowing she will always start the day off well and being looked after. I would not hesitate in recommending AAHC.
After a poor experience with a previous provider, it means so much to see him treated with dignity and warmth. Communication is excellent-I'm always kept informed, and concerns are handled quickly. Living over two hours away, it gives us real peace of mind knowing he is in safe, capable hands.
What stands out most is the consistent empathy and dedication shown at every visit. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone seeking reliable, compassionate care.
Thank you to all of the wonderful team!
Thank you so much for this - it genuinely means a great deal to us. We know how much it matters to find the right care after a difficult experience elsewhere, and we're so glad your father-in-law feels comfortable and truly looked after. The distance you mention makes that peace of mind even more...
As a family we have had a really positive experience with All about home care having switched from another provider who were absolutely awful.
From meeting Rachael to discuss my dad's initial needs to making small changes along the way this has been so professional and simple. If only we had found you first!
The carers are consistently kind, respectful, and attentive, always taking the time to make sure everything is done properly and with dignity.
Communication with the office has been excellent, and any concerns are handled quickly and professionally via a instant messaging group where replies are provided almost immediately no matter the day or time.
What stands out most is the genuine compassion shown-they don't just complete tasks, they build trust and make a real effort to brighten my dad's day.
It's reassuring to know that such reliable and thoughtful support is in place. I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking for quality care at home.
Nathan, thank you for this lovely review - and for mentioning me by name. "If only we had found you first" is something we take real pride in hearing, even if we wish the circumstances had been easier. We're glad the WhatsApp communication has worked so well for your family; being reachable and...
Excellent service , efficient and expert carers. The organisation is very responsive, gives us a rota ahead of the next week and will always give us a call if our carer is running late. My husband has built a good rapport with his carers and they give me support and advice when I need help. They will provide additional care when required, so pleased they were recommended to us
- Rachael & the team at All About Home Care
I find All About Home Care very efficient in their delivery of Care and also extremely well managed. The individual Carers show a great amount of compassion, patience and overall kindness. I find this really important as I try to do all I can for my partner at this time of her illness. There is always a readiness in each Carer to help in whatever way they can during the period of their visits. What I particularly value is the sensitivity of each Carer in providing the personal care that my wife needs at this time.
- Rachael & the team at All About Home Care
In addition to the high standard of personal care, the organisation itself is professionally run and flexible. Our situation is slightly unusual, as my mother is still very capable, and they have been willing to adapt their usual approach to suit her individual needs. This thoughtful, tailored service has been greatly appreciated and has given us real peace of mind.
Fantastic care provided by a small regular team who mum has got to know and sees as friends. They are flexible and do what is needed, up to and including to mum reading them poems. They take her on trips to the garden centre and cafes. They communicate really well with me and my brother.
All round fantastic. Can't fault them. I've recommended them to mums friends who have developed care needs too.
This made us smile - poems and garden centre trips are exactly the kind of visits we love to hear about. Thank you for recommending us to your mum's friends too; it's one of the nicest things a family can do. We'll pass your words on to the team, who will be delighted.
I started with the basic 3 hours per week in preparation for being away over Christmas when the carers were coming in twice a day to prepare a hot meal for lunch and a late afternoon check to prepare something for the evening. The housework was taken care of, washing done, everything that I wanted. I got back to rave reviews from my mother, she couldn't rate everyone highly enough. Extremely professional, reliable, flexible, I am thrilled. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
What a wonderful thing to come home to! We're so pleased your mother enjoyed having the team around over Christmas, and that you could go away knowing she was in safe hands. Flexibility in arrangements like this is really important to us, and it's great to hear it worked so well. Thank you for recommending us.
We needed to change Care Providers and decided on All About Home Care because of the excellent reviews and the CQC Rating. We have not been disappointed. Although we only need respite care for our daughter, the team at All About Home Care have been helpful and understanding of our needs. They were professional on the telephone setting up the Care Assessment Appointment. Upon meeting the Assistant Manager for the assessment, their level of professionalism was evident, but that did not detract from the needs for our daughter. And they were able to meet our request that the same carer comes each time as our daughter would find a different carer each visit very stressful. We got what we asked for, and much more. The carer is kind and lovely, and she is just who our daughter needs. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this Care Agency and they fully deserve the Excellent rating I, and others, have given them.
Thank you for this lovely review, and for the trust you've placed in us with your daughter's care. We know how important consistency and familiarity are, particularly for younger clients, and we were glad to be able to honour that from the outset. It's a privilege to be involved in her support.
The excellent team at All About Home Care looked after my 91-year old mother when she became physically frailer and required help with tasks at home. From the initial phone call to the office, they couldn't have been more helpful, understanding and caring. They provided outstanding support and care for my mum, always treating her with dignity, respect and above all kindness, and my mum enjoyed their visits. They always kept us informed with any concerns or issues and were proactive sorting out any problems (with our consent). They were flexible with their times of visits and increased care when necessary. The team also showed great compassion to us - nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend All About Home Care.
I cannot praise All About Home Care highly enough. When looking for a home help carer to come and assist my bed ridden Mum I spoke to quite a few companies but when I called All About Home Care the difference was immediate and palpable. The other companies were very much ''We don't do this and we don't do that'' very rigid and one of them even bordering on 'frosty' which is not what you need when you are in times of trouble with a loved one and need help. But as I say, I initially spoke to the manager and she was instantly likable, kind and lovely. She sent the care coordinator to meet Mum and myself and I just knew the moment I spoke to her that she was 'the one' for us! she visited us both and brought a potential carer with her and it was an immediate match between the carer and my Mum. Danielle handled the whole 'matching' process with professionalism, instant friendliness and I just adore talking to her. Fast forward several months and my Mum adores her carer. She lifts her day her spirits & is wonderful
