Over all time All About Home Care has 85 reviews.
We had previously used All About Homecare in 2015/16 for my father and their dedication and care had been exemplary, taking him with dignity right up to his death, allowing him to stay at home until the end.
We needed someone to take her shopping, have some lunch with her, take the dog for a walk with her, a companion for a few hours to encourage her to get out as the dementia slowly robbed her of her memory and confidence. The lady who came to help her was one of our father's original carers, so she already knew mum and understood her.
This worked brilliantly for about a year until my mother's Alzheimer's determined that she needed a full time live in carer. So sadly we had to say goodbye.
As a family, we cannot recommend them highly enough.
I used All About Homecare for 6 months for my mother, who needed a single long daily visit following a hip fracture aged 90. From the outset, I found the agency professional, straightforward and efficient. When approached at relatively short notice they were able to supply the hours we requested, accommodated requests to change days to fit in with our other, privately employed, carer, and most impressive of all, sent the same 2 carers for the entire 6 months.
These 2 carers got to know my mother well and responded to all her needs. I always found them kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Management were available and responsive in dealing with any requests or concerns.
I would have continued with the agency long term had my mother not had a stroke and needed to move to a nursing home.
All About Home have been providing care to my mother since July 2016 in her own home, and now attend three times a day.
We have always been very pleased with the service provided. It is very professional, the staff are always polite and attentive to Mum's needs. She always looks forward to their visits.
We visit twice a week and are greeted professionally by the staff of All About Home, if they are in attendance. They update us on Mum and we can always review their notes from previous visits.
We as a family would highly recommend this company as a care provider. It came as no surprise that they are rated as Outstanding by the CQC.
From the start, carers understood my independent nature and for them to fit into my lifestyle within the home I have lived in for forty years. They arrive puctually and are available for the full hour.
I have found the management very helpful when interacting on my behalf with the surgery, DWP, hairdresser and chiropodist.
My cat is a source of attraction to the carers and on occasions, they have helped with his medication. I have no hesitation in recommending All About Home Care.
I have worked with All About Home Care for nearly a year now, helping to care for my elderly mother who lives at home alone. She has been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and has become increasingly more prone to short-term memory loss. She remains however strongly independent and this has presented her family with significant problems, balancing her need for independence with our concern for her safety and welfare.
The staff at All About Home Care work efficiently and sympathetically. My emails and phone calls are dealt with immediately, the administration is highly efficient and communication with carers is highly effective. Accounting for expenses, costs of carers etc is comprehensive and correct.
The carers do a very difficult job very effectively and sympathetically. My mother initially resisted having visitors in her house, but with skills and patience, the carers soon became a welcome part of my mother's daily routine. The carers, as well as providing company, carry out any task I have asked eg doctor's visits.
