My wife has Alzheimer's. The staff were aware of the behavioural effects of the disease and were genuinely kind and caring. No matter what the problem, the staff made sure that they handled it beyond the call of duty. I don't know how I would have managed without them. In situations that would have
made me despair, they were calm and efficient and stayed the course seeing each challenge through to solution. They had a schedule of visits and I could always expect to see them on time, wearing their PPE, not leaving before they had finished. No rushing in and rushing out! The staff are all properly trained and the senior staff adhered to a system of checks to ensure that all was well. The manager responded well to queries and was extremely helpful and understanding. The Day Centre, which is not open at the moment, deserves high commendation, it's a cut above the normal: well decorated, well-staffed, plenty of activity and very happy clients - 'happy' being the key word. Brilliant!

We carried out our research, asked colleagues and friends for recommendations and chose Joy2Care to look after the care package for my mum. That was nearly four years ago.
The Joy2Care team have visited up to four times a day. The carers have been great, very polite and professional. Nothing is too
much trouble for these guys.
We have always found them all to be very helpful, kind and caring.
I would highly recommend them.

Brilliant company. All the carers with the exception of one (who has left them now) are extremely friendly and caring. I do not have a bad word to say about this company whatsoever. They are quite small but because of that, it is the same faces you see most of the time so they create a much better rapport
with their customers. They are always willing to give that bit extra and genuinely care about their job and enjoy it. My mother left them around a year ago now (due to needing 2 carers multiple times a day which they didn't have the manpower to manage at the time) and is still in contact with a couple of them as they got on that well. If this company is able to meet your requirements I highly recommend you chose them.

Inspection ratings
We rate most services according to how safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led they are, using four levels:
Outstanding - the service is performing exceptionally well.
Good - the service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
Requires improvement - the service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve.
Inadequate - the service is performing badly and we've taken enforcement action against the provider of the service.
No rating/under appeal/rating suspended - there are some services which we can't rate, while some might be under appeal from the provider. Suspended ratings are being reviewed by us and will be published soon.
Ticks and crosses
We don't rate every type of service. For services we haven't rated we use ticks and crosses to show whether we've asked them to take further action or taken enforcement action against them.
There's no need for the service to take further action. If this service has not had a CQC inspection since it registered with us, our judgement may be based on our assessment of declarations and evidence supplied by the service.
The service must make improvements.
At least one standard in this area was not being met when we inspected the service and we have taken enforcement action.
