My carers have been very pleasant and efficient. Unfortunately, they have no control over what time they come to me, which is usually mid/late morning. I hate not being dressed and having a shower at that time of the day.
There was a slight change to our Friday sitter and we were a little concerned, but that was silly as UKG Care covered the situation very well and we were very happy in the end. Well done all.
Thank you so much and I am glad you were pleased with the end result.
Very satisfied with rep from UKG, who has a good rapport and understanding with my wife who suffers from vascular dementia. She is our only rep as client does not wish any other person to visit ( this is for my respite two hours). Rep has the ability to handle situations.
Without the help of my carers, I would not be able to stay in my home. The ladies do a brilliant job and I would be lost without them. It would help if my rota was updated when there are changes to my care.
One staff member, in particular, is a fabulous morning carer for my dad! Competent, caring and likes my dad's sense of humour. Many thanks for your service.
Thank you so much, we will forward your kind words to the carer.
Back in February, I only had 2 hours notice of a care visit. So the minimal cancellation time of 48 hours is impossible. Similar circumstances have happened previously. Overall, very pleased with UKG Care.
Thank you for your review and we will look into this.
I try to do most things myself. I refuse to sit and watch television ( quick way to a grave). My experience of UKG is generally good but like all things in life, there are good and bad. The good is to be recognised but the bad should be weeded out. The good care worker will go the extra above and beyond their remit. The bad carer will do as little as possible and give you every excuse not to do something. Generally speaking, your company is doing ok.
Thank you, our team will look into this and will get this sorted asap.
Reliable and friendly.
I strongly prefer the new system where I have the same carer each day. My regular carer is excellent. She remembers my requirements and is quick and efficient. When it is her day off, the quality of care varies - some are excellent, others satisfactory. My biggest single complaint is that I have no written statement as to how charges are calculated. HCC/social services live in a world of their own. My girlfriend feels the same way - no financial info.
All carers are excellent - cheerful, competent and very helpful. As Dad's visit is for a fixed time every week, it would be useful to have the same carer. That is our only comment for improvement to the excellent service we receive for our Dad from you.
Thank you for letting us know we will endeavor to arrange this for you
Have experienced good treatment from the carers, with just one or two lapses. It is nice to have regular carers that grow to know each individual and their little ways.
Only use once weekly for take a break and have found carers very pleasing.
They have been coming for a few days but they are lovely and very helpful.
Experience - good.
The representative was very polite and understanding. She used clear communications and clear explanations. She observed all current guidelines and maintained social distancing, also very respectful and efficient.
Overall good. Could pay more attention to detail, particularly where they could help me a little more (I am 86).
I'm happy also to be involved, as are others, in the evolution of the service.
Caring for my mother with Alzheimer's (albeit mild/moderate) has proved rather a bridge too far for this company. They were asked to help with personal hygiene and prompting her to eg. change bedding, wash clothes, housework. This was an early morning visit.
It would appear, after many weeks, that my mother was not showering and when writing and telephoning to try to reach a solution, firstly my email was ignored and secondly, nobody ever rang me back despite being told, on many occasions, I would receive a call. I live 170 miles away and cannot physically check regularly!
His morning carer has made him feel very comfortable while performing personal care for him which could have been unsettling for him. I think the standard of care is very high.
My review was excellent. It was the first time I had met this particular lady, and she was very good at putting me at ease, and listening to all my comments. I have two wonderful carers who go that 'extra mile'!
