Hi, I’m Sarah and my role is to ensure that we continue to deliver excellent personalised care to all clients and consistent support to our Care Professionals having previously been a client myself for a family member and a key player.
With a background in publishing and HR, I joined Home Instead Doncaster in July 2020, and I already feel like part of the family!
As Care Administrator, I hope to provide a friendly, helpful and efficient point of contact for clients and Care Professionals. I provide administrative support to the care team to help things run smoothly, so we can provide the highest quality service to clients.
In my spare time, I like to play one of my several guitars, preferring classical and flamenco styles, but it’s not unknown for me to occasionally burst into song!
I joined Home Instead in June 2019 as a Care Professional. I love interacting with people and trying to make a difference in someone’s life, that is why I joined HI as a Care Pro. I am very client and caregiver focussed with a constant emphasis to improve our way of working.
More recently I have joined the vibrant office team as Care Coordinator which means I am responsible for coordinating appointments for our clients and Care Pros, through weekly employee schedules, determining care call durations whilst communicating with our clients and Care Pros regarding their care calls.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and supporting our local team Doncaster Rovers!
I recently joined Home Instead in June 2021 as a Care Coordinator.
Previously I worked for a Telecare Company based in Doncaster as a Senior Operator but fancied a change and wanted to work in the care sector.
I cared for my late mother-in-law and various other members of my family, so I have hands-on experience.
My Role at Home Instead is to schedule the Care Professionals and match them with our clients.
I joined Home Instead in 2021 as a care companion, enjoying running our Sporting Memories Group and caring for clients. Previously I worked with NHS Scotland for 15+ years, mainly in IT Project Management, but gained a good insight into the service and enjoyed implementing new technology to help both patients and NHS staff.
I enjoy meeting lots of people and helping to make a positive difference in their lives, even if it’s just making someone smile, or laugh at one of my bad jokes.
My new role will extend my time into organising and running more client activities such as Friendship Lunches and helping to raise funds for our Charity and spreading the good word for our services as well as collaboration with other groups to contribute to helping our clients live their best life.
In my spare time, I do like watching and playing sports and seeing friends and family.

I joined Home Instead in March 2021 as the Head of Care Professionals. I have almost 10 years of experience working in various positions in Homecare and began my journey as a Care Pro in 2012. Much of my career has been spent mobilising new Homecare branches in different areas. I am passionate about providing the best quality services and joined Home Instead Doncaster as I feel I share the same values as both Rob & Zoe and share their goals to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ rating from CQC.
