Home Instead have provided care for my grandma for two and a half years. Not only do they meet their normal duties, the care staff go beyond. They welcome additional tasks with open arms and no problems. My grandma is ninety-five and a very independent, organised and routine woman but is unable to fulfil her ways due to age and mobility issues. However, the staff accommodate this and ensure what she used to do, is still done with grandmas dignity remaining intact. After searching for a number of weeks, Home Instead provided the most well-rounded service. This allows grandma to choose her visit times, in which the hour slots allow for medication, washing, meal prep, changing and cleaning assistance. Alongside, engaging in social interaction numerous times a day which have led to true friendships. The office team are friendly and organised which makes liaising a relieving experience. Also, having access to the app is a great addition. Would definitely recommend this service.
The team at Home Instead were brilliant - the office staff were very on the ball and the billing system ran efficiently. The management team were excellent keeping me up to date with any issues or changes to Mum's scheduled. We liaised frequently to ensure that the care was perfectly tailored to her needs. The care team itself was wonderful. They took so much time and effort to look after her; taking her flowers, chocolate, games and cakes. They really cared about her and her well being. Over the last 12 months my mother was bed-bound but was always clean and smelled delightful!
The family built up a strong relationship with all members of the Home Instead team. I would strongly recommend them.
Thank you for such a lovely review it has been our sincere pleasure and honour to care for mum and for you to trust us for so long and to make such an impact is wonderful. Thank you once again, Rob and all the team.
Home Instead Senior Care (Doncaster) have been very good in terms of providing excellent care for my mother. They have always been reliable and adapted to changes we have needed to make. The carers have engaged well with my mum and have been very warm and caring. My mum has enjoyed having them.
I could not have had a better experience with the team. They are very communicative, truly understand my dad and his needs and have enabled him to stay at home. He is 89, has mobility issues and is strong-willed! I highly recommend them.
Thank you, Ceri for allowing us the privilege of looking after Dad.
It has been a difficult year with our father being diagnosed with Dementia and him accepting this too. Home Instead (Doncaster) have helped us greatly and worked with us to help our amazing father and even at times when it was challenging, they stuck with us to assist our father and now things are currently stable it is thanks to a combination of medicine, amazing carers and family support. All working together to give our father the best chance of living with Dementia comfortably and happily. I would not hesitate to recommend the team, thank you for your support.
I contacted Home Instead to arrange care for my father who needed help with having a shower and getting dressed. After an initial meeting to assess my father's needs, a carer was assigned. Care was taken to ensure that the carer assigned would have an affinity with my father's personality. The carer always arrived at the time agreed and the care my father received was of high quality. I would certainly recommend this company.
Thank you for a wonderful review and for more importantly allowing us to care for Dad
We've used Home Instead as a provider of companionship for my dad since the summer of 2020. He's been suffering from mental health problems during the coronavirus pandemic and has visits 3 times a week from an excellent carer who provides him with a fantastic level of support at a time when it's difficult for him to see other friends and family.
Thank you for allowing us to care for your Dad and I am so glad our services are having such a positive impact. Best wishes Rob and all the team.
Excellent care provided by all caregivers; patient and respectful of mum's requests. In mum's words 'they are a tonic' looking forward to their visits. All our caregivers have gone the extra mile - 'above and beyond'. The office staff have tried to provide continuity of care under challenging circumstances. The overall manager is understanding, accommodating, very supportive of his staff and is customer focussed in all decisions.
Thank you for this lovely review and allowing us to play such an active role in supporting mum. Its a real privilege to do so and one we are greatly honoured to have.
Home Instead were recommend to me and I would recommend them to anyone else. My mum is 95, deaf since birth and suffering dementia. I needed carers to visit when I couldn't be with her. She didn't want anyone coming around but the carers were kind and careful and she soon was happy with them. I felt she picked up because of the company and it was comforting to me to know someone was seeing her regularly. All in all, I was very happy with Home Instead.
Our Home Instead team are second to none. They have an excellent blend of sincere cheeriness and serious concern for their client. A number of them have worked here for more than two years. They carry out moving, handling and personal care with sensitivity, thoroughness and a touch of light-heartedness, helping to foster an atmosphere of trust. They address their client with respect and friendliness. They are always aware of client safety.
I have found my carers are invaluable as I am more or less housebound because of balance problems. They are always pleasant and efficient and become more like friends. I look forward to their visits to be able to have a good conversation once a week!
Home Instead Senior Care goes beyond that required in caring for my 90-years-old uncle who is still living at home; all be it his mobility is very limited. They act professionally in every way, and if concerned about his health, then they act positively by informing the appropriate health agency and keeping members of the family informed at all times.
For the short time, I have had contact with the carers, I have found them to be extremely reliable and friendly. I understand from her partner, they quickly became part of the family and established a good rapport with Mum and facilitating her with her personal needs. On the day Mum was taken into hospital, their support and advice were extremely helpful. A good team of support given.
My 93-year-old father has been a client of Home Instead for 18 months now. He looks forward to seeing a friendly face when he wakes up in the morning. All the staff are very caring, supportive and professional. Have them with him for one hour every morning has made a big difference in his life. We would not be without them now!
I am so impressed by the Home Instead team. The support and care that they have provided at a very difficult time has been fantastic. It is a very personal and caring service. Nothing is too much trouble.
My experience with Home Instead Senior Care (Doncaster) has helped me with my confidence and also pick me up when I am feeling low. I would struggle without them. I would highly recommend them to anybody.
My Father is 96 and with the consistent, kind and reliable care and support from the caregivers at Home Instead Senior Care Doncaster he is still living in his own home. Dad receives 3/4 visits per day and carers are rotated sensitively to ensure there is continuity of care and visit times reflect my Dad's needs. The agency liaises with me and has taken Dad to appointments if I am unavailable. I would have no hesitation recommending this agency to anyone looking for support for an elderly person requiring care and support in their own homes.
Absolutely thrilled with the level of care and the relationship Dad has developed with his carers.
I think that without Home Instead we may have been looking a home for Mum by now. The initial assessment and subsequent reviews as to the type and level of care and support have been important in keeping Mum in her own home where she is secure and in familiar surroundings.
Carer punctual - calls if the problem - dressed appropriately - talks with ease does not "talk down" - intelligent.
Good security - office knows where clients and carers are at all times even if means visits have to include time for paperwork -

Hi, I’m Alicia. I have recently joined Home Instead as a Care Professional Experience Lead. I have worked in the care industry for the last 4 years, and in that time, I have developed a wealth of knowledge in many different areas of the care industry.
I joined Home Instead in 2021 as a care companion, enjoying running our Sporting Memories Group and caring for clients. Previously, I worked with NHS Scotland for 15+ years, mainly in IT Project Management, but gained a good insight into the service and enjoyed implementing new technology to help both patients and NHS staff.
I enjoy meeting lots of people and helping to make a positive difference in their lives, even if it’s just making someone smile or laugh at one of my bad jokes.
My new role will extend my time into organising and running more client activities, such as Friendship Lunches and helping to raise funds for our Charity and spreading the good word for our services, as well as collaborating with other groups to contribute to helping our clients live their best lives.
In my spare time, I like watching and playing sports and seeing friends and family.
I started my career in care back in 2013 as a Care Professional, and since then, I’ve worked across a wide range of roles within the sector. That hands-on experience has shaped who I am today and fuelled my passion for making a real difference. When I joined Home Instead in 2021, it instantly felt like the right place for me, and I’ve never looked back. Stepping into the role of Group Operations Manager has been an exciting milestone. I now have the privilege of overseeing the operations across our five offices, driving forward our mission to deliver exceptional care.
I’m proud to share the same values and ambitions as Rob and Zoe: achieving an Outstanding CQC rating, increasing the world’s capacity to care, and championing care as a rewarding and respected career.
I’ll admit – I love to be at work!! But when I do switch off, you’ll usually find me out with my three pooches or discovering new foodie spots to enjoy.
