I started to work for Springfield Health Care in the Newcastle branch in 2017, I worked as a Care Coordinator and then I became the North East Trainer.
During Covid 19 I came to Darlington Branch and loved the branch and its team. I was then offered the job of Service Manager which has enabled me to ensure we are providing a safe, well-led, and effective service for our customers and staff.

My role as Operations Team Leader involves the day-to-day management of the Darlington branch at Springfield Healthcare.
I started my career as a carer before progressing to care coach, supervisor, coordinator and now Operations Team Leader. Covering all of these roles has given me insight and knowledge to ensure that I can provide the necessary support for my team, our carers and our service, to consistently deliver high-quality care.
My role involves engaging with carers and service users on a daily basis to ensure compliance is maintained throughout our service. Through my role, I get to maintain good working relationships with our carers and service users which has always meant a lot to me.
