I have worked in Care since the age of 21, I have worked in various job roles which have given me great knowledge and experience.
I started to work for Springfield Health Care in the Newcastle branch in 2017, I worked as a Care Coordinator and then I became the North East Trainer.
During Covid 19 I came to Darlington Branch and loved the branch and its team. I was then offered the job of Service Manager which has enabled me to ensure we are providing a safe, well-led, and effective service for our customers and staff.
I feel very passionate about my job and Springfield Health Care.

My job means everything to me. Springfield is my second family and I love it.
My role as Operations Team Leader involves the day-to-day management of the Darlington branch at Springfield Healthcare.
I started my career as a carer before progressing to care coach, supervisor, coordinator and now Operations Team Leader. Covering all of these roles has given me insight and knowledge to ensure that I can provide the necessary support for my team, our carers and our service, to consistently deliver high-quality care.

My role involves engaging with carers and service users on a daily basis to ensure compliance is maintained throughout our service. Through my role, I get to maintain good working relationships with our carers and service users which has always meant a lot to me.

It is my responsibility to schedule, plan, supervise and monitor all visits from Springfield Healthcare Darlington. My role can be quite challenging to ensure smooth operations, but I find it very rewarding knowing that all our customers are receiving the support that they need.
