I believe everyone has their own unique story of how they started in the healthcare industry; here’s mine.

My mother spent a period of time in a Care Home where I frequently visited her, always astonished by the quality of the care that was offered to her and the support of the staff that helped her during this time.

A little over a decade later, I find myself in a very fortunate position with an incredible group of people around me, providing care that the team and myself can be very proud of. My goal is to set the standard for all of those in the blueberry care team and have us provide the best quality care in our area.

I'm Rachel and I have worked for Blueberry Care for almost 10 years, I look after Blueberry Care operations.

It was a big decision for me to return to work after a long career break with my children, but one that I am very happy with. My career with Blueberry Care started in accounts, now as the operations director I am extremely committed to our service provision to ensure we deliver Dignity, Integrity, Consistency and Excellence in everything we do.

I am the Recruitment Resourcer here at Blueberry Care.

I joined the blueberry team 6 years ago.

I started as a care worker in the Alsager area and I really enjoyed my time out in the field but the opportunity arose to work in the office as the Recruitment Resourcer,

I am the first point of contact for anyone who wants to join our team and I love being able to support a new staff member through the process, I still get a buzz seeing a new recruit put on their uniform for the first time.

I wanted to work in the care sector to help support people living independently for as long as possible. Read less
