Great Park Homecare provided personal care for my mother for four months and the quality of the care was outstanding. The small core team of carers who looked after her were kind, compassionate and competent. They were also very patient whenever my mother -- who was fiercely independent -- became (understandably) frustrated by her age and frailty. My sister and I knew that Mum was in good hands. But the point at which Great Park Homecare most clearly showed its true colours came towards the end of my mother's life when she had a fall late one night. Neither my sister nor I were close by. So, when my mother's pendant alarm went off, it was the owner and his wife who dashed over to check up on her and call an ambulance -- this at nearly midnight, some two hours after the normal working day had ended. My sister and I are deeply grateful for the support Great Park Homecare provided during a very difficult time.

After an accident, I needed some help with personal care. Great Park Homecare was highly recommended to me and really lived up to that recommendation. Their carers are most kind and attentive and arrive mostly on time, never more than 1/4 hour late. They are very good at dealing with any problems one may have. Their app system records these problems so the next team arriving know exactly what has happened on previous visits.

We have been very impressed with the kindness, care and professionalism of everyone at Great Park Homecare. From the first contact of coming to the house and assessing our needs, they have always shown a high degree of professionalism. All the carers turn up on time, even when the rota has been changed to accommodate some unforeseen events. They have an app system which each carer uses to record notes of exactly what has been done and any small changes to the care needs. So the carer who calls in the evening has read the notes before she walks in the door and knows exactly what happened earlier that day. They make lots of suggestions of things that will help with Mom's care, which all together make a big difference. They help with the equipment, which we needed and always showed a gentle touch of kindness to Mom. Overall, a very positive experience. I highly recommend this company.

Great Park Homecare has been providing care for my father for the past four years. As I do not live near him it is very reassuring that they are providing such an excellent service. Carole Henderson has wealth experience and knowledge of working in the care sector. Her career in care started over 20 years ago and Carole has held management positions for 15 years. Qualified to a high level, Carole has achieved her NVQ Level 4 in Management and also holds a City & Guilds RMA. Carole has outstanding people skills, is highly organised and pays attention to detail. She manages, supports and guides her care team to provide an expert and professional service.
With over 20 years as a business professional in client service management, Adrian’s previous personal experience of the home care industry, to find appropriate and reliable care for family members, left him with the deep feeling that care provision could and should be much better. More specifically, client communication and quality of service was severely lacking from existing care providers. As a strong advocate of volunteering and proactive Chairman of Windsor Mencap, Adrian has the experience, skills and empathy to fully understand clients’ individual needs and find bespoke care solutions for them. His greatest strength lies in his ability to remain calm and engage collaboratively to ensure a positive and happy outcome for all. Adrian has qualified as a Dementia Friend Champion and is keen to host local information sessions for the community to share his awareness of Dementia.
