We are very happy with the communication from Carole and the care given to my mum from mainly Bev and Sally. We are truly grateful for the support it gives us as a family just knowing that they have support. The way you try to integrate their wishes with their needs is very thoughtful and you all try very hard to make a very difficult situation as simple as you can just by being as thoughtful as possible and allowing them the dignity to feel they have choices even when then don't through their health issues. Great Park Homecare provided personal care for my mother for four months and the quality of the care was outstanding. The small core team of carers who looked after her were kind, compassionate and competent. They were also very patient whenever my mother -- who was fiercely independent -- became (understandably) frustrated by her age and frailty. My sister and I knew that Mum was in good hands. But the point at which Great Park Homecare most clearly showed its true colours came towards the end of my mother's life when she had a fall late one night. Neither my sister nor I were close by. So, when my mother's pendant alarm went off, it was the owner and his wife who dashed over to check up on her and call an ambulance -- this at nearly midnight, some two hours after the normal working day had ended. My sister and I are deeply grateful for the support Great Park Homecare provided during a very difficult time.

On more than one occasion, they have gone over and above in certain situations. Whenever we needed to change what we needed or asked for more, this has never been a problem. Truly remarkable care from all with this company, from the carers to the management.

Any issues or concerns I have about my parents has always been responded to in a timely manner. All the staff have been kind, considerate and have treated both my parents with care and respect. It has been a great relief to me to know they are being looked after – this is the sort of thing that could easily make a massive negative impact on my own life, so I greatly appreciate the staff at Great Park Homecare.

We have been very impressed with the kindness, care and professionalism of everyone at Great Park Homecare. From the first contact of coming to the house and assessing our needs, they have always shown a high degree of professionalism. All the carers turn up on time, even when the rota has been changed to accommodate some unforeseen events. They have an app system which each carer uses to record notes of exactly what has been done and any small changes to the care needs. So the carer who calls in the evening has read the notes before she walks in the door and knows exactly what happened earlier that day. They make lots of suggestions of things that will help with Mom's care, which all together make a big difference. They help with the equipment, which we needed and always showed a gentle touch of kindness to Mom. Overall, a very positive experience. I highly recommend this company.

His carer talks to him, asks him things and has made many suggestions to improve his well-being. As a company, Great Park is very good. They try very hard to deliver a caring and supportive service - not just to my husband but to me as well. Like all care companies, they struggle with recruiting carers and until the UK recognises carers as a career role it will continue to be difficult.

We understand how difficult it can be to look after loved ones from afar and are pleased to know that we can give you peace of mind as you entrust the daily care of your father's wellbeing (and now also for your dear mother). Over the years, we have been able to treat your parents as part of our own family, with dignity and respect. We have enjoyed taking them on visits outdoors such as seeing a London-bound steam train pass by locally and also spoiling them to tea and cake, whilst having the opportunity to socialise with fellow clients. Recently, we were delighted to have the honour of celebrating your father's birthday. The Great Park Homecare family looks forward to celebrating many more birthdays with him!
