Very happy with the care and staff who come to us.
Thank you for your kind words. Its a pleasure to be able to provide your husband with care.
Excellent service - thanks!
Thank you for your kind words, it a pleasure to hear you've enjoyed our services so far!
Alexander has provided care to my parents, both of whom have dementia, for the last couple of years. We had some brilliant carers that my mum and dad loved and who were experienced in dealing with dementia. Alexander were really helpful in a crisis, providing extra care at very short notice and being available to talk to about needs even at the weekend. I don't know what we would have done without them then.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt words. We're honoured to have supported your parents and to know our team made a real difference, especially during the more challenging times. We'll make sure your kind message is passed on to everyone involved.
This service gets Mum set up for the day and is very much appreciated by both Mum and myself as it takes a lot of pressure away from myself in the morning and I can do other things while the carer is sorting Mum
Thank you so much Sheila for your kind words. We are so pleased your mum appreciates our care and that it takes a bit of pressure away from yourself.
Coffee no sugar and empty packets left from creams etc xIf I'm off can rectify but my brother was very cross with care Sat week and last Weds with mess didn't call
You as mum didn't want fuss x
Thank you, for taking the time to provide your feedback and for recognising our carers' high standards. We're sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered and want to assure you that we have already taken steps to address them - We have added extra tasks to the care plan and communicated with...
However , there is a definite lack of and inconsistency , with regard to my mum's PH care . I often note that my mum can go for days ( sometimes a week ) without a teeth clean , hand and face wash and pyjama change .
* I bath my mum weekly and assist in full PH and a bedding change etc .
I know it is difficult , as you cannot and should not force someone to do something but I feel that , there is at times , a lack of training and understanding and initiative within carers , to navigate situations regarding PH , to a positive outcome .
Other than this , the office staff are always willing to listen and to take things on board , when i call on behalf of my mum , and I am grateful that because of Alexandra's , my mum can remain in her own home .
Thank you for your feedback. We're really glad you find our carers compassionate and our office team supportive. We understand your concerns about personal care and have reminded our team to encourage these tasks while always respecting your mum's wishes. We've also added more detailed guidance to...
All the carers were so friendly, kind, gentle, and willing to help; they were sensitive to Mum's increasing frailty in her final weeks/days and helped us keep her well cared for and safe. It was in her final days that their guidance, experience, and expertise came into play and it was amazing working with such competent ladies.
Even in those final, difficult days, the carers brought a little smile to Mum's face with their cheery care, compassion, and kindness. Dad and I were so glad to see you each day too.
Additionally, we were so grateful for how swiftly Alexandra Care responded when it became clear Mum needed double-handed care visits in her latter days.
Thank you all for making the last few months possible, you are all angels on earth.
Thank you so much for this lovely review! We cannot express how much your words mean to the team and it puts an emphasis on why we do this. It is wonderful to hear that we were able to make your mum happy.
Willing to help with extras when asked, clears up before leaving.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are so pleased our carers are able to assist you with a smile.
Always really friendly to Mum, nothing is too much trouble, from all the carers, also amazing talking to office, with Mum in and out of hospital, so putting in place carers when Mum comes out of hospital, never a problem always there to assist.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're dedicated to providing compassionate and seamless care, and your kind words reaffirm that we're on the right track.
As a new client my wife has been very satisfied with the standard of care she is receiving. She finds the carers very sympathetic and helpful. They help her out of bed, move to the bathroom and give her a wash, shower or hair wash as she requests and then help her get dressed and move downstairs. She finds them gentle and likes their friendly and helpful approach.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! We're delighted to hear that your wife is satisfied with the care she's receiving as a new client. Providing compassionate and supportive care is at the heart of what we do, and it's wonderful to know that our carers are meeting her needs with empathy and professionalism.
Care has been provided to my father from Alexandra's Community Care for a few months now. They've all been very good (despite my father being quite difficult about accepting only male carers!). Thank you!
The care your staff provide is always very caring and professional, also the correspondence between myself and your office staff is excellent. Having used other companies before, I must say your company is the best by far. Nothing is ever a problem.
All your team are an absolute credit to your firm from care, respect, timing, and smartness, to asking about my own health. Thank you very much.
I am just writing to say a massive thanks to all at Westcountry and Alexandra's, my mother is now going into full-time care and they have been with us and supporting us for around 18 months. Through some very hard and challenging times, they have always been there with smiles and warmth doing the hardest of jobs. The Penzance team have been our rock and are a part of the family. Special thanks to several amazing members of staff in particular. The manager has managed a fantastic team and needs maximum credit! Their commitment has been quite humbling. For those who need help in this difficult stage of life, I cannot recommend enough, many thanks.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a kind review and for the lovely comments and recommendation. I will ensure all your kind words are passed on to the team.
Our experience with Alexandra's has been excellent. My mother was discharged from hospital after a fall and is in the final stages of her life. She chose to come home with my 100-year-old father. The handover to Alexandra's was smooth and she has been very well looked after for the past month. The family has worked with the lovely care workers to smooth out issues and establish a safe and comfortable routine. The supervisors have overseen this in a gentle and hands-on way. All have done more than needed and within the care plan ensured that my mother is comfortable and her domestic needs are in place. Carers are reassuring with my dad and we have created a good environment within the house. Many thanks to all involved in the care of my mother.
Thank you so much for your kind words; I will pass on your comments to the team, we really appreciate you taking the time to comment.
I am very grateful for the professional and excellent care given to my 95-year-old mother which brightens her day and is always given with a spirit of friendship and kindness. I also appreciate the thoughtful support given to myself as the fulltime carer. Thank you Alexandra's for accommodating our needs and your positive attitude throughout these challenging months.
Thank you to all the staff.
We really appreciate you taking the time out to give us a review with such kinds words.
We are very satisfied with the care we receive. All of our care workers are extremely helpful and polite.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our Penzance team, we really appreciate it.
Having experienced other agencies, Alexandra's is by far the most professional and caring by far. Thank you, from us all.
Thank you for taking the time in completing your review. I will pass on your compliments to the team.
