The carers from Bluebird Care are absolutely excellent. They are great with Mum (who has Alzheimer's), kind and professional throughout. We initially had a few teething problems with the admin, communication and organisation of timings, hence the four-star rather than five-star review. However, Bluebird
has always responded/resolved any questions/queries or changes/amendments quickly. I would highly recommend them to look after your family.

Overall our experience with Bluebird has been very positive. It wasn't easy to convince my mother that she needed some help, but your service really made it possible for her to stay at home a little longer. From our perspective, Bluebird has always been very communicative and easy to contact, and flexible
with care scheduling. Your carers have provided a reliable and kind service to my mother, who wasn't always an easy customer.

I have been a customer of Bluebird Care Andover since October 2021, they are and have always been so helpful from office staff to my daily carers my treatment has been awesome.
Over the last few weeks, my physical problems have been more challenging due to increased pain in my lower back (Spondylitis)
and trapped nerves. All my carers have been awesome and I would like to thank them all for their help.
With a special thank you to all the staff members for helping me so much and going above and beyond. All my other carers are also awesome I just didn't have them on my Rota for this period. Finally, a huge thank you to all the office staff for their professionalism and support. Thank you so much.

Recovering from new hip op. I (85) and my wife (83) decided we needed help as we live in an awkward, listed, property. We contacted Bluebird (Andover) who moved very quickly to meet us, identify our needs - showering, dressing, and hands-on care - and fast to arrange a package to start the following
day, morning, and evening. We were sent carers who understood what we required and, without exception were confident, conscientious, and always cheerful, and as we had about 15 different carers coming, this made their visits very productive. They supervised the exercises I had been given by the physios and they (the physios) were always complimentary about my progress.
I will always be grateful for the efficient way that Bluebird got me through those two difficult weeks.

Our carer has been absolutely wonderful - provided as an emergency to look after my mother, who went into the hospice an hour after the carer arrived. She then kept house for my father for sixteen days. My mother was at home from the hospice for three, intense days when the carer coped admirably, although
she needed my assistance to move my mother. Mum died on the third day and the carer has continued to act as housekeeper for my father and leaves us today.
We cannot fault the carer in any way, she has been marvellous.
We were a little surprised to discover that for all of the four weeks she has been with us, we were charged the emergency respite rate, despite the carer only working at a respite level for three days; the remainder of the time she has been pottering about the house preparing light meals - no serious cooking - washing, tidying and washing up for my father.

Bluebird have been supporting my father for a while and I can't express how impressed I am with their services. Every carer has treated my father with the utmost respect, they are friendly, considerate and efficient. Everyone is well-presented and relates well to both my father and myself.
The communication
with the company is excellent and any queries I have had, such as needing short-term cover for a holiday or additional tasks are dealt with swiftly and with minimum fuss.
I can highly recommend them.

It is the time of year to reflect and it has also been a full calendar year of care since Bluebird started looking after my father and supporting my stepmother.
From the off, we thought the engagement, the nature of the two-way set up and planning under the leadership was spot on making the start of
our journey more straightforward and less stressful for all of us.
Ongoing, with the leadership's help, in my view finding the best carer that fits/works with my father's needs has been key, and for that of my stepmother too. We can't sing enough praise for the carer who is that person, always going one step beyond, always with grace and patience. We are indebted to her!
Huge credit to the rest of the team too, the carers who visit less frequently but have to fit into a dynamic they are less regular or familiar with, and the support teams who are always attentive and professional when delivering their services too. Thank you all!

Bluebird cared for my husband for the last two years of his life. He was an independent man who wasn't keen to have help, but he realised that he needed it and that the help provided made his life better. The office help and advice were invaluable. When you start the care journey you are not sure what
is available and what the future holds. Everything was explained, the options to choose from and how to solve future problems, if and when they arose.
The care team were all friendly and kind. They were clean, respectful and supportive and I have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird. Thank you all.

Bluebird took the time to understand the specific needs of a client who was fiercely independent, quite challenging and who did not particularly see the value or importance of the care that she needed. Through the patience of the management team and the wonderful engagement and interpersonal skills
of the care team, this client is now living a much more fulfilled and independent life without making challenging demands of her friends and neighbours. Without being patronising or officious, the Bluebird team was able to demonstrate that they were there to support independent living, not to take the right to decide away from the client or to prevent her from doing the things that she wanted to do when she wanted to do them. A difficult balance with someone requiring significant physical support, but Bluebird achieved it with gentle and caring efficiency. Highly recommended - thank you!

I am very pleased with Bluebird's Care. They have enabled me to stay in my own home and to enjoy family and village life. My live-in carer is wonderful, so caring and kind and she is also a good cook!

After a bit of a sticky start with my first two short-term carers, I have been wholly satisfied with my next three carers. They have shown professionalism and willingness to help at all times. The HQ and office staff have also been very good and helpful and have sorted out problems and difficulties

Bluebird Care Andover have provided an excellent ongoing visiting service for over 3 years, firstly for my stepfather, and more recently for my mother, both with different needs. After an initial consultation, the office understood and interpreted the care requirements with tact and kindness. Their
local knowledge of the doctors' surgeries and wrap-around care teams is excellent, which allows us the best advice. Carers' visits are punctual, reliable, and scheduled with mum's daily requirements. Mum's carers are professional, cheerful, interested in and mindful of Mum's disposition and health, and always happy to deal with any shopping or task as asked. Respectful friendships have been formed over time. The daily reporting on the phone app allows me and the family an instant sense of how Mum is on any given day before we even speak to her - a great asset.

The local Bluebird Care team (Andover) have been fantastic. It’s been a difficult few months as our mum’s health and mental capacity has rapidly declined. There have been many twists and turns but each time Bluebird has kindly worked with us when we’ve needed to dial up or down on the number of care
contacts each week.
The carers always bring a smile to Mum’s face and she enjoys the conversation and care they provide. They are a very knowledgeable and professional team and have shown Mum genuine kindness and dignity. I cannot praise them enough.
The office team are approachable and always ready to answer questions or find solutions. I feel that they know and care about us as a family and I have appreciated the personal response. I have never felt like I’ve been working with a large corporate care agency.
I like the online portal that allows me to keep track of visit schedules and visit notes.
So thank you all. You do an amazing job and I would highly recommend your service.

Bluebird provided great care to my husband during his last days. The care assistants were amazing, the office staff were very efficient and I was impressed with their service. Before we had Bluebird, I was my husband’s main carer, so when they came in, it really took the pressure off me. Their support
was not just for my husband, but for me too. Thank you Bluebird Care.

Bluebird care provided care for my father for over 18 months. It started off as once a day, but then grew and we were looking at additional input when a fall and a long hospital stay resulted in him needing full-time care elsewhere.
Our experience was wholly positive - from the first assessment
visit (very thorough) through to the tremendous help and support from the office whilst my father was in hospital. The carers were great and my father formed real attachments to several of them - they were his friends at a time when COVID and failing mental and physical health made things difficult. He had fun with them - chats, exercises and the Bee Gees!
The office was always quick to let us know what was going on and we felt as though we were working in partnership, with my father's best interests at heart. A great feeling. Thank you to all of the team, and to one staff member who he still talks about (positively!) now.
