Bridgewater Home Care (Warrington)

I have had visits over the past 3 months from Bridgewater and have been very happy and satisfied with the service and care I have received for which I have been very grateful.

We have been delighted with the high level of care my mother-in-law has received from Bridgewater Home Care. The carers have always been understanding, sensitive and professional demonstrating a very high level of conduct and competence. Our regular carer has always arrived on time and displayed a cheerfulness which has lifted all our spirits.

We have recently moved my gran's care over to Bridgewater after reading the good reviews and having a couple of personal recommendations too. Everything, right from the first contact with them, has been positive. The care coordinator came out to do a thorough needs assessment and completed all the paperwork to get the care arranged. From the wonderful care staff that come out to Gran's visits, we cannot fault the service and experience we have had so far. Gran has advanced Alzheimer's and the carers that visit treat her with dignity and show compassion whilst providing the personal care and administering the medication that she needs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bridgewater to others.

Took my mum to the Christmas Party you arranged. Just wanted to say we thoroughly enjoyed it. It is the first time Mum has actually been to one and was a bit hesitant at first to go, but once coaxed by my husband and I she was really happy she went! Thank you to all the staff who kept everyone entertained with quizzes etc and especially for the wonderful choir - the children from the school - they made it ever more delightful!

I feel overall, the service is good value for money. Dad enjoys the two ladies that he has been able to have consistently with their visits. This has helped Mum too, rather than having different people each evening.

We are very satisfied with the care that my mother receives. Communication with the team and office staff is simple and always efficient. Notes are left for my family when we need to know something i.e wet bed, or Mum needing new toiletries. Thank you for your hard work.

The service up to now has been excellent but I would have appreciated a text or phone call to advise me when a new carer was attending, as it is daunting when a complete stranger is carrying out intimate and personal procedures.

I would like to thank the wonderful group of carers who look after an elderly friend of our family. He is an 83-year-old bachelor who was fit and well until suffering a major stroke. With the support of your services he has returned home and is living independently in his own home again and recovering fantastically. You have give him back his pride and independence and do it in a lovely manner. I never thought he would adjust to carers coming in but he looks forward to all his visits and can’t praise his small team of carers enough, he loves having a joke with you all.

The support provided by Bridgewater, enabled my mum to continue living in her own home. We found the service to be flexible and the carers we met were always very helpful and kind and sometimes, went the extra mile to help. My mother has now moved to be closer to where I live, but we would happily use the service again.

Our family have been immensely grateful for the flexible and friendly support of Bridgewater carers. Their regular visits have enabled our father to remain at home, as he wished. They have brought kindness and company, as well as carrying out the tasks required, showing understanding of his needs. The carers and office staff have been quick to alert the family to potential concerns. The introduction of the app has been invaluable to keep family members informed of day-to-day activity, even though they live some distance away, enabling decisions about his future needs to be made and implemented quickly. Thank you to all the team for their kindness and consideration.

I absolutely depend on the staff at Bridgewater Care to look after my mum. My life before their intervention was chaotic and I wasn't able to live with my family who are in a different part of the country. Social services initially placed us with an interim care provider and whilst the staff were lovely they never had enough time to care for Mum. Our lives changed once we were switched to Bridgewater. The care staff are unfailingly kind and patient and treat Mum with dignity. This kindness also extends to the staff in the office who will always try and help in whatever way they can. I am now able to live back at home with my family knowing that the Bridgewater team are always reliable and that my mum is receiving the best possible care. I am so grateful for everything they do and for the better quality of life my mum is able to have in her own home. Thank you.

The dedication of the carers is clear. They know my parents well and individually, are always willing to help whether this is personal care, helping in the home or any other tasks which crop up. They arrive on time, are thoughtful and considerate, nothing is ever too much trouble and all offers of help are provided with a friendly smile. This support has visibly transformed their lives enabling them to remain together at home while also maintaining their independence. As their needs increase, I have complete confidence that Bridgewater will be there at their side continuing to support them through the coming years.

We are so grateful to our neighbour for recommending Bridgewater overnight waking care. I can now have a few good nights sleep at home and enjoy an evening out, knowing that my mum is in the capable and caring hands of our wonderful carer. Mum can continue living in her own home, which means so much and my life has resumed some normality. Huge thanks.

I am so impressed with the service provided by Bridgewater Home Care. My mum is at home on palliative care. The staff from Bridgewater are so gentle and caring towards Mum in delivering care. They continually chat to Mum and pressure her constantly as they care for her. Without them, Mum would not have been able to spend her last few weeks at home. We are forever grateful to Bridgewater.

I met a lady at my mothers home to discuss care and your company. Very impressed. Then the lady met my failing mother who loved her followed by your team. We only had help for one week as my mother went into hospital. Every member of your team, night shift and day shift were fabulous. Thank you to all.

Your service is very good and can't get any better. Especially my carer she is very helpful and looks after me well do not move her away from me.

After looking after my husband night and day, I was exhausted. Then I had Bridgewater carers (after trying another care company), had carers twice a day and a wonderful night sitter. Between them, they gave me back my sanity. Well done Bridgewater, and thanks.

Cannot fault the service and kindness and how lovely the staff are. Nothing is too much trouble if need to change times.

The service provided by Bridgewater Home Care was very good indeed. The employees were respectful of my wife and our property. Very courteous and helpful. The cost of the service was very competitive indeed. We were notified ahead of time if there had to be a change of staff at the last minute. Young ladies were very helpful indeed. I would recommend then at a moments notice.

Bridgwater were only coming to our home for ten and a half days in all to help with the care for my mother who sadly did pass away. However, we could not believe how helpful, caring and professional the office staff and caregivers were. Exceptionally good company and would definitely recommend their services. Thank you.
