Bluebird Care Portsmouth

We are very grateful for the flexible and efficient service provided in supporting us to look after mum. Whatever problem reared its head the Bluebird team were there to help us manage all the complexities of daily care.

Bluebird have been very considerate and helpful in adapting to the changing care needs of my father and mother.

We started with Bluebird when my husband was much more able than he is now, and we have increased the support they provide for us, including some residential care for me to have a break. We find them excellent in all ways, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, always willing to help and to step up to help us meet new challenges as they arise. We would not be able to have the quality of life we share without the help and kindness of Bluebird. All staff are very welcoming and I always feel I can call and ask for advice and extra help even at relatively short notice. While I try not to take advantage of this kindness, it does mean that I can still, at times, step into the breach as 'Grandma', something that my husband's increasing frailty has reduced significantly. The opportunity for group sessions has been a great joy to my husband, and gives me an extra break for a short swim! We have absolute trust in our Bluebird team, and would not be without them for the world.

Both staff in the office and carers in the field are very good at their jobs. When telephoning the office any queries, problems or just information is dealt with quickly and efficiently. The carers are always wearing the correct attire and are professional in their work and adhere to the care plan. They are respectful and cheerful and most importantly give me 'peace of mind' to know they are taking very good care of my father.

Bluebird is providing care and support for my aunt. They have been very professional in dealing with her and have helped her with personal care, cleaning and ordering foodstuff as well as preparing breakfast and snacks for her during the day. She has been very pleased with the level of help they provide, and the care workers are always very kind and helpful towards her.

I have nothing bad to say about the service they provide.

I like the facility to read the care notes.

Best of all, they are cheerful and good company for these two elderly clients. When there was a recent emergency; their care and support was really excellent - not leaving until the situation was resolved.

Attentive and very responsive with good quality and well-trained staff. Flexible to adjust to client requirements.

The people that come in are very professional, happy and a pleasure to have come in our home.

Their timekeeping is very good and always mention any concerns.

My son sometimes has difficulty in accepting new people into his life, let alone personal care, but Bluebird have been great at keeping the number of carers to as few as possible.
