A very caring and professional service for my elderly parents, provided by all members of the team. The carers were kind, considerate and diligent, and we have appreciated the careful and prompt communications via the office on those occasions when my parents were having issues. This is an organised
and well-run operation, with staff who seem happy in their work - and I am happy to recommend them.

In home care have been looking after my father since November 24. They liaise very closely with me and my wife, and we both feel my father is looking very healthy and seems happy in himself after receiving their care and friendship.

This home care provider has been attending to my 93-year-old mother for some months now.
They provide an excellent, flexible service which is sensitive to the service user's needs.
The carers are efficient, compassionate folk who genuinely have the interests of the client at heart.
The office staff
are friendly and helpful.
Communication is excellent, which is very important to me as I live 150 miles away from my mother and can only visit every so often.
I have no hesitation in recommending them.

My husband's carer was always cheerful and tried very hard to keep him occupied and interested in activities although he has advanced dementia. A very caring person.

Great carers - they really care and have the client's needs at the forefront, in addition, the admin/support team at the office are quick to respond and super flexible if changes need to be made. Early days for us so we are "tweaking" the care that is needed and the hours we want, working with the home
care team is very easy - thank you.

From the initial assessment to changing requirements and general settling into new routines, I can't fault anyone at In Home Care. These processes are never easy for any party involved but I have every confidence in the professionals around my mum and most importantly she enjoys their visits and assistance.

Very nice and helpful carers. Talk to my husband and help him shower and dress him and they have a laugh with him. Office staff are very helpful.

My dad enjoys the visits from his two carers and appreciates their willingness to do a wide variety of caring jobs. He does not need help getting to bed or up in the morning but does need help preparing food and getting to appointments, going for a short walk etc. Thank you.

We are delighted to have a regular carer who has established an excellent relationship with my wife. She is proactive with activities and sensitive to the challenges she is faced with. In Home Care has been responsive to my requests to vary timings and easy to communicate with.

In Home Care has provided outstanding support to my mother over the last five and a half years. The carers are punctual and professional as well as warm and thoughtful. They get a lot done without making her feel rushed and always manage to find a few minutes to chat with her. On the occasions when
they have had concerns they have always communicated them to me without her feeling disempowered. Finally, the office team are always friendly, responsive and engaged. Overall, I cannot praise them highly enough.

We approached In Home Care to organise some help for our parents and from the very beginning, the girls at the office have been so kind and helpful to my brother and I but especially my parents. They are so professional and organised and extremely caring. They keep us informed of any issues that arise
and contact us immediately which, for me, is such a help seeing as I live on the other side of the world. I would highly recommend the team. Always punctual, always happy and we are so very fortunate to have them. I am looking forward to meeting them all when I visit the UK.

The carers are always well trained, efficient and cheery. Particularly throughout the Pandemic they have not missed any calls and have been careful about protection from infection. If they are held up and might be late the office always gets in touch to explain. I could not have remained living in my
own home without In Home Care's assistant.

Cilla has been working in the care sector for nearly ten years, during which time I have gained a wealth of experience across a variety of settings and built a strong foundation of knowledge and practical skills in adult health and social care.

My career began in a nursing home, where I provided care for individuals with late-stage dementia and those receiving end-of-life support. During my two years in this role, I completed my NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, which gave me both the theoretical understanding and hands-on experience to support individuals with compassion and professionalism.

Following this, I spent four years working at Queen Alexandra Hospital on the elderly care ward. My responsibilities included supporting patients with a wide range of medical and personal care needs in a fast-paced environment. While at QA, I completed my Care Certificate, which further strengthened my understanding of best practices in care delivery and patient safety.

In October 2021, I joined In Home Care as a carer, a role I embraced with enthusiasm. I quickly built strong relationships with both clients and colleagues and was promoted to Senior Carer in 2022. In this role, I took on increased responsibilities, including mentoring new staff, supporting care plan development, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

My dedication and leadership were recognised in December 2024 when I was promoted to Deputy Manager and again in August 2025 to Branch Manager. In this role, I support the Registered Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance, mentoring staff, and driving continuous improvement in care standards.

I am currently working towards my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care. I also serve as the Infection Control Lead for my branch, taking responsibility for ensuring our practices meet the highest hygiene and safety standards. In addition, I have successfully completed the “Lead to Succeed” leadership development programme, further enhancing my managerial skills.

My commitment to high-quality, person-centred care, combined with my ongoing professional development and leadership experience, underpins my dedication to delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care in all aspects of my work.
