Home Instead are fantastic. They have changed our lives since we started working with them. Thanks for everything you do for us as a family! I can’t fault them and I would strongly recommend them to anyone. Thank you!
The setup of the package was well-managed and ran smoothly.
Excellent service.
As well as helping mum with her day-to-day personal care, eating and housework, they spend lots of quality time engaging with her as a person and keeping her mind as active as possible. They also notice little things such as if she is low on provisions or if her medication is not quite right, all of these things give my brother and myself peace of mind knowing that mum is being cared for, valued and stimulated on the occasions when we are at work or can't be there.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Home Instead to anyone who needs help caring for a loved one.
Mum's care is exceptional. Mum enjoys the support to enjoy her life in the community. The personal care needs are always met in an exceptionally professional manner and with dignity.
Mum accessed care from Home Instead for several months. We were so impressed by their professionalism and how they wanted to tailor her care to meet her needs at the time. This care had to change over the months as Mum needed more care but I knew I could contact the office to arrange this and they would do their best to accommodate what our needs were.
The company were recommended on the grounds that both of my parents required additional dementia support. The difference once they were involved was amazing. They were able to provide support in areas that had previously been neglected (as a result of my parent's reluctance not the provider). Things took a turn for the worse, but the whole company stepped up to provide whatever was needed; carers particularly were exceptional, and I wouldn't have gotten through this period without them. Expensive, but peace of mind is priceless. Thank you to all concerned.
Thanks, ladies.
Always on hand, excellent, all aspects of care, Mum is much happier (Mum has dementia).
Ladies take Mum out, and about they have lunch, always bright and cheerful. They have a laugh.
Always engage with Mum, understand Mum's needs.
As her daughter living away, this is reassuring.
At the moment, I just use a carer's visit for one hour a day for 5 days a week. The carers are punctual and very helpful. I also enjoy their company.
I am completely satisfied with all conceptions with Home Instead, and all carers give full service when it's needed. They keep me happy and comfy.
After other care was being given to my dad was deemed to be totally unacceptable by our family. After reading the many positive reviews on Home Instead we decided to give them a try we have not been disappointed as his main carer has been outstanding. We feel all the carers are not as committed but are happy with overall care.
An excellent care company. Communication is very good, and the carers are reliable and caring. I know that my aunt is in very safe hands, and I cannot thank them enough.
I have dealt with Home Instead (Knowsley & Liverpool East) for many years and find all staff have been very helpful and professional. Nothing too much for them.
My mother-in-law has care from Home Instead. She feels secure and safe knowing they will be coming into her and assisting her with personal hygiene needs - making her food. I am a retired nursing sister, and I have been very impressed with the level of care given. All of my mother-in-law's care needs are met. The staff always give feedback and contact us if they are concerned. Can't thank them enough.
Always able and willing to offer advice when needed.
Home Instead are a wonderful group of people. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and my dad is treated with respect and dignity. In fact, they treat him as one of their own. The carers are great, and I can now go to work and not worry about my dad as Home Instead have got it covered! Thank you!
During the lockdown Home Instead and individual carers have been so helpful and supportive as I live in Wales, so far from my parents. Helping to solve the daily issues which arise has been invaluable. They are part of the family. Thank you. Key issues of safety and being treated with dignity, you have been outstanding.
Home Instead manages everything else and the standard of caregivers and the services they provide has been first class throughout the period before and after Covid-19. My aunt is happy, suitably fed (they now shop rather than me doing a weekly online shop) and generally fit and well for her age.
During Covid-19 they restricted the number of caregivers and put appropriate on-site measures in place to ensure she was as safe as possible, liaising with me regularly throughout. They continue to advise me when something else is needed and are proactive with regards to issues like medicines and personal care items.
It would be very hard for me to manage her affairs effectively without a high-quality agency on-site and Home Instead (Knowsley & Liverpool East) satisfies this amply.
Our experience with Home Instead was one of excellent support and care for Mum from day one. All departments worked well together and kept us informed at all times. Nothing was too much trouble and all individuals carried out their work with care and compassion every day and as a family, we will be forever grateful.
Home Instead looked after my Dad for five years before he passed away on Christmas Day 2019. During those years, Dad was always looked after so well, with kindness, respect and care. The last two weeks of his life were spent at home, with the wonderful care of home Instead caregivers. We will never forget the care, kindness and dignity they showed him during the most difficult time. 24-hour care for the last week and he passed away peacefully.

Meet the Team (2)
I was born in Huyton and have spent most of my life living and working within Knowsley and Liverpool area.
After graduating from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Political Science, I began a 25 year career with one of the major high street banks. After the banking crisis, I realised I no longer shared the values of the banking sector and decided it was time for a change of direction.
I wanted to use my commercial and managerial experience to make a difference to peoples lives. In particular I was attracted by Home Instead unique focus on companionship, having experienced at first hand the impact of loneliness and isolation amongst elderly people.
My role is to manage and grow the business, by building strong relationships within the local community with groups and individuals who have close links to the elderly. I will personally ensure that my team deliver the highest standards of service, and put our client's interests at the centre of everything we do.
Hi, my name is Shauna.
I started as a Care Professional with Home Instead in 2014 and progressed to the position of Field Support Officer before I became the Deputy Care Manager, and I am now the Registered Manager
I have completed the NVQ Level Five in Leadership and Social Care, and I am always looking at ways to improve my knowledge and skills within the care sector.
I enjoy working for Home Instead Senior Care because of their culture and values: it's so nice to have the personal touch. I had never worked in care before and am so grateful for this job as it gives me real job satisfaction knowing our clients are receiving the best care in their later life. We really are changing the face of ageing.
I have a little boy who is 5years old, he keeps me busy, and I love being a mum. I enjoy spending time with my family and our little dog.
