A very brief interaction with the service, but however brief, I found them professional, courteous and great communicators. My mum was very pleased with the ladies who assisted her. Would definitely use them again.
Excellent company and would highly recommend.
Dear Emma, thank you so much for your lovely review. We are proud to hear you are happy with our service and it is fantastic that our help and support is so greatly appreciated - it is always our aim to go above and beyond. Kind regards, The Management.
I have to say that we have been really happy with the carers provided and we would recommend them to others. My dad has been very happy and he has made emotional ties with all of them. He has felt well looked after, not bossed, able to be himself and above all has enjoyed all the ‘chats’. He looks forward to the next morning and is always asking me ‘When is the girl coming’.
It has been a pleasure to support your father and your family over the past few months. Thank you for your kind words, the personal aspect and companionship plays a huge part of any care package that we deliver and to hear a client is looking forward to the visits is the best compliment one can get.
Until our mum went into hospital we had a lovely rota of carers visiting my mother twice a day. The Care Manager, Managing Director and Assistant Care Manager made sure that the carers were carefully introduced - especially as my mother has specific medical needs. Everyone at the company has been flexible and really attentive to any concerns. Our mother looked forward to the visits every day and her carers were always respectful, friendly, attentive and careful with her. As soon as she's back on her feet we will be returning to Home Instead.
We very much look forward to welcoming you and your mum back into our service as soon as she is ready and well enough to return to her independent living arrangements. Thank you for your kind words and we wish her a speedy recovery.
Felt very well supported and cared for during my isolation due to the Covid virus. All the staff who visited me were very kind and supportive. Given I had spent my working life as an ASW (approved social worker) I was very aware of how difficult it can be to be involved in the care of people. Many thanks to all the staff of Home Instead.
I am very pleased with the Home Instead care for my mother. She always says she likes all the ladies who visit her and they all have a caring and patient manner. The visits for a 92-year-old lady to have regular company has incredibly improved her moods and helped her overcome the difficulty of living alone. My enormous thanks to all the team.
The management had a listening ear and were helpful and fair.
I was always kept informed of any changes for my Aunt, good or bad, and was most appreciative of the support the carers gave my Aunt when she was in the hospital. Also, from the office team whose response to my urgent calls for help as I live so far away from my Aunt, was so reassuring to me knowing my Aunt was always well cared for. Thank you.
Wishing everyone safe passage through this frightening time.
The services offered to my mother has been brilliant, with flexible, responsive and regular care reviews. Highly recommended for a personal care service.
The service provided by Home Instead is second to none. The carers have a very good relationship with my mother and are sympathetic to her needs. They are proactive in their approach and they provide great comfort to me in knowing that the care of my mother is in capable hands. This is very important to me as I live in Chile (South America) and I am only able to visit my mother 3 or 4 times a year.
Extremely caring, first class service. The staff go the extra mile and more. I cannot recommend Home Instead Enfield more highly. They not only have supported my aunt but also me as a relative, keeping me fully informed. In very challenging circumstances they have problem solved ways to encourage independence and dignity. All the staff are extremely supportive and caring.
Very good communication at all times. Excellent care people and a joy to have in the house. Very cheerful and happy.
I cannot thank Home Instead enough for the care that they provided for my 93-year-old Aunt which enabled her to remain in her own home. The carers were very professional, kind and thoughtful. It was an enourmous weight off my mind that she was being cared for so well.
All Caregivers have been lovely people and I cannot thank you enough for their excellent care. They need a medal for what they do. I would recommend your company and your services to everyone that needs help.
The care giver is reliable and consistent and has a very caring and professional attitude. She treats my mother with respect and dignity and has pointed out several issues (eg. loose teeth) that I was unaware of that have now been dealt with and resolved. She has put my mind at rest to know that someone is going in every day to check that all is ok.
Very caring from start. Initial interview informative and helpful. Carers emphatic and helpful like family. Fortunately, my mum improved which the carers played a large part in, and no longer needs them but would definitely use again in the future if needed. Highly recommended.
Home Instead are the exception. Fantastic carers, great service, well organised, good communication. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Staff were very helpful and the agency management was always willing to answer any concerns and put me at ease. Good value and not expensive. I feel at ease knowing my father is in good hands and being looked after.

Meet the Team (5)
Alexandra has been working within the health and social care industry for the past 10 years, starting Home Instead Enfield together with Alistair in 2016. Her past experience ranges from being a Home Manager for young adolescents across North London to working in the financial sector and the travel industry. For many years she was part of Robert Swan OBE's Antarctic expedition team helping with fundraising and operations.
Alex not only has a drive for exceptional organisation, but she is also 100% dedicated to providing quality care and first-class service. Her passion for caring for the elderly stems from her younger years when she witnessed both her grandmother's health issues, one with Alzheimer's and the other with severe mobility issues.
Sohini has worked within the adult social care sector for 6 years, after studying Psychology at the University of Nottingham.
Sohini started her career as a team manager for a supported living Scheme. There, she worked with clients with learning difficulties and aiding their developmental skills. She then went on to work as a Care Manager in East London which specialised in dementia care. Sohini now joins us as a Care Manager. We are delighted to have her positive energy on board and welcome her to the Home Instead Family.
Sohini is a regular at her Muay Thai classes and likes to keep active with swimming. During the lockdown, she has found her passion in cooking and experiments with Japanese cuisine..
Kinga supports our Care Co-Ordinator with scheduling tasks.
Hana started her career in HR and Risk management during her stay in the UAE for many years after studying business management Hons at Plymouth University. She then returned to the UK and became a full-time carer to her sister who required care after an accident until she was fully independent.
This led her to start work with Home Instead initially as a Care Professional and eventually put Hana's past work experience to excellent use in the office.
Our Recruitment process includes extensive checks and a full DBS is required. All applications are made either by phone or by an online enquiry form on our website.
